BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

  1. I have just read the earthquake article and I must say that it is impressive.
As the article says, Japan is more prepared for such disasters than countries like ours, but even with that preparedness, it has been a big disaster. I don't want to imagine how our country would look like after a disaster like that. But on the end of the day it's nature and we can't control it.

  2. In my opinión, the earthquake of Japan has been a disaster, but natural phenomena are inevitable. This has happened a lot of times. Not long ago a eathrquake destroyed Haiti. The earthquake of Japan could have been more dangerous because in Japan there is a nuclear plant, this could have impact on society. The first days later earthquake were maddening. It´s clear that population will never forget this expected news.

  3. Currently, Japan is suffering one of the worst moment of his history due to earthquake and tsunami that have devasted the north of this country. This catastrophe has produced thousand of death leaving zones totally deserted.Although Japan is prepared to disaster like this one, all the buildings and specifs construction such as airport have been distroyed.

I think that Japan wont be able to recover until the goverment and different countries help in his recostruction. So, an international help is neccesary. All of us should help them.

  4. I believe that an earthquake is the worst that it can happen in a place.A lot of people lose their homes, their lives ... and many other even die or are orphaned. it is true, today there are many advances and can detect, but the country must have eartquake insurance so that no less affected.
On the other hand the scale of the earthquake is considerable ,since depending on the scale will cause more or less damage.
We can only help by sending money to replenish.

  6. The earthquake and tsumani in Japan was disastrous and one of the most serious disasters of history. Recently they have taken place in a lot of places apart from Japan, like Indonesia or Murcia, in Spain. It hasn't had as much victims as in Japan, but it has also caused a lot of damages. People's attitude has been very supportive and countries all over the world have collaborated very much.

  8. #2 Powerful Quake and Tsunami Devastate Northern Japan:

In spite of Japanese are well prepared against this kind of disaster since they are young, they have strict constructions codes, the earthquake and the tsunami have destroyed their superstructures, even the nuclear plants which are very resistant due to the radiation, so the vecinity of there have had to be rescued. I mean although Japanese, are accustomed to frequent earthquakes, were stunned by this incredible cathastrophique with more than 100 aftershocks, many equivalent to major quakes. Really, this is the strongest earthquake I have never heard in my life.

  9. #3 Japan Earthquake: Tsunami Warnings Downgraded After 7.0 Quake Off Japan Coast

In spite of damages, when the Japanese exceeded the terrible quake they thought everything had finished and they breathed alleviated. However, I have to say the tragedy was about to begin, later an incredible tsunami ravaged some cities.
Nature is very powerful, in fact, so far we can't predict when an earthquake will happen for sure. Unfortunately we can just be preparated all the time. I hope in the future, the new technologies will be able help us.

  10. The tsunami and the earthquake in Japan has been disastrous. We can't stop this natural disasters. they have got a magnitud too big for us. But, it doesn't mean that we can't predict them,or at least, we can reduce risks.

I think that in places like Japan, who use to have this kind of natural disasters, we should put more technology to predict them. And of course, remove nuclear central and other buildings which could causes more damages.

This is what have happenned in Japan. The tsunami caused lots of manages, and after that, the earthquake caused more of damages. But the worst of everything is that the Japan's factories, buildeing, etc, like the nuclear central, could causes more damages than this two natural disasters together. For that,I think that we should make risk maps and remove the buildings, factories and everything that could make more damages than the natural disasters.

  12. The earthquake in Lorca has caused lots of damages. Lots of people haven't got where to live now, they have lost their houses, their belongings and their faith. But fortunatly, it hasn't been so much deaths.

I think that the government could do something about this. Lorca is a place where could be more earthquakes. Lorca is arisk place to live, and the government should installs warning systems. And, especially, they should review more carefully future housing plans, they have to prove that the buildings meet wtih the requirements of anti-seismic buildings. I think that with this precautions it won't to as damages as the last erathquake.

  13. I think the earthquake and tsunami that occurred in Japan was one of the worst things that could have happened and the central Fukushima alerts us enough about nuclear power and began to protest about them.

And the earthquake in Lorca became much more nervous as we came to the memory of the incident in Japan that there was a long time.

  14. Tectonic plates which is formed the Earth's crust are in constant motion , but this is frequently slow and imperceptible. However, when something obstructs this shift and collide, Start a accumulate a lot of energy just being released suddenly when the United Nations sudden movement of these plates are produced. This energy surfaces on the Earth's surface is that we mean with earthquake.

Tsunamis are giant waves that come ashore with little or no warning. A tsunami is caused by earthquakes or volcanoes that move from Earth in the bottom of the sea.

In nuclear energy is there the reactor of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station is leaving fuel rods stored there exposed and bleeding radiation into the atmosphere. And radiation levels are extremely high.
This was caused because the earthquake of Japan gave so much damage to the reactor, more than 50,000 people were evacuated of there... After this a major crisis was caused nuclear crisis in Japan.
