BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

Is it really true? Is Albert really going to organize a study trip to the UK?

We all know that our English teacher is always boasting about his trips around the world, but is it really true???
Last year some students challenged him to take them to the UK. He is getting old and he is a bit slow, so he didn't answer straight away but the German machine he has got in his brain began to work.
Time passed, the school year finished, the new school year began... and he didn't say a word. But guess what? He has just worked it out!!!! You have got some of his discoveries in his site

ARE YOU READY TO FIGHT, MEN OF SCOTLAND??? (as William Wallace said)

Just have a look at the different possibilities and let me know your opinions.

  1. I think that Albert is a very good person and he will take his students to the United Kingdom. Personally I prefer Scotland of Ireland because in the future I will go to England more often and it will be easier. If his second language students have a good enough level, he would also take them and have a great time with them, especially with Miguel and me. If we go to London we could visit the Wimbledon stadium and Albert and I could play tennis there! This is a great opportunity to learn English and have fun at the same time. If we go, it will be a once in a lifetime experience. Finally I want to remind you that a good German machine keeps his promises, so I hope we can spend eastern anywhere in the UK:D

  3. I think is a wonderful opportunity to learn English, overcoat how to speak it with persons who aren´t Spanish. I think this is the best way to start to speak English and this is essential because maybe, we will have an oral test in our selectivity. So, I thank Albert that he wants to travel with us because no one teacher wants. Albert says this isn´t a party trip and that the party is over but I think that we can have fun.

  4. I think that it we would already merit a good travel, especially if we can speak English and better know the Scottish culture. I also think that´s so important to speak English, because in the future we will need to handle that language. We could visit a lot of places, like the Edinburgh castle and we could see one of the most beautiful cities in Britain. Albert should take into account that there are a lot of hard-working people my class. We can Finally, I believe that we can have a great time!

  5. When you gave us the information of which you were going to organize a travel to Edinburgh I was surprised. Always I have wanted to go there. It is a beautiful country and Edinburgh describes it perfectly. I wanted that we were all the pupils because it is the only opportunity to learn English and to lose this shame.

I think this is a great opportunity to learn English and I think we share this trip with friends and teachers will make it much more fun and it will be more interesting. On the other hand, getting to know new places around the world is a new experience in my life and it will also help me to get to know better the Scottish culture and traditions. If I like the city I hope to return in the future.

  11. In my opinion, Albert has offered us a valuable opportunity to be able to learn better Scotland's languaje, the culture and tradition. Possibly we never will go to Edinburgh, because we will prefer to travel to London, obviously, because is more famous internationally than Scottish capital. This is why, we can’t loss this occasion y we must enjoy and use it correctly because in the future this can serve us to travel to different countries and to have more possibilities to find a better job, given the fact that English is basic.

  13. I'd like to go to England but, like a good catholic, I love Spanish Holy Week and I want to watch processions in Granada and to follow to "my Nazareno" in Órgiva.
If you make the travel before Holy Week and we are back home on Monday or Tuesday, I think I will go with you.
About the travel, I don´t like so much the idea of staying with an English family and I´d prefer to staying in a dorm or in a shelter.
I also want to go to other cities like Oxford, because when I went there I only saw monuments and schools (like Harry Potter School). I would also like to go there, and be like the teenagers I saw in the streets.

  15. It's a wonderful opportunity as Mediterranean Secondary School isn't used to having this kind of trips abroad. It also offers students the opportunity to learn about a different culture from ours. And the most important thing is to have a great time with our friends.

  19. It's an incredible good idea. Alberto will go with their students to Edinburgh with the object we learn more English. I hope everything goes well, the foods are good, my clothes fit into the suitcase and all students that let's go to the trip, spend a good experience, an unforgettable experience. Of course, this trip will be, for the second bachillerato students, a help to the English selectivity exam and thus to pass the third exam of the Language School. I really like the idea.
