BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

    1. I think that there are many different forms to study English. You can go to the UK or the USA (or another contry where peple speak it) and study English.

Also, if you are young you must study it at school, but if you aren't you can study it at the Official School Language in Motril.

However if you don't want to move very much or you can't study it because you haven't any time, you can study it at home, like: THAT'S ENGLISH COURSE, MUZZY or MAGIC ENGLISH (Muzzy and Magic English are for people that don't speak any English, young people). I saw all of them and they have helped me very much.

All in all, I think that it's important to study English and speak it, of course.

    2. I agree with you, but I think that MUZZY or MAGIC ENGLISH is too childish. For people as us, they should watch another interesting programmes which has a higher level of English. However, there are another ways to learn English too. One of them is to start reading newspapers in English, but I must say that it could be boring. Another one is seeing your favourites series in original version with subtitles in English. This is maybe more entertaining than reading. So I give these advices to do whatever you prefer.

  2. I also think that there are many ways to learn languages. But learn English is much easier, since daily we are hearing English everywhere, for example with a song, a subtitled interview, a film in original version, at school ... but I think it's best to travel to countries where English is spoken to have direct contact with it.
In classes we see ‘That's English’, a program for people with some level of English, but as my classmates have said, there are others programs for people with less knowledge.
To sum up, I think English is more present in our lives than we think, and anyone who wants to learn it does not have to spend a lot of money on classes or courses, since you can find people who want classes in Spanish and themselves give English classes in exchange.
But for me the most entertaining and fun is listening to music in English, as I like it and it isn’t as boring as reading or writing, although this is necessary to get a good level of English.

  3. In my opinion, English is very important, wherever you go, people talk English and it's a positive thing if you need something somewhere and you don't know their language. I like very much the English language, since I watched programmes like WWE, music like Bon Jovi, and films. I don't watch programmes like use of English, which I do is to put, for example, Spongebob SquarePants at English, that's a good way to learn English easily, because it has a very good level of English, the characters talk quickly therefore you have to be attentive. But the best way to learn English, is watching films. They are better because the subtitles are very good, and you can listen to it at Spanish or English and see the subtitles in Spanish or English, there are a lot of possibilities, and the best of all it's that you like the film.

  4. Learning English is not as difficult as it seems, because it is not a subject that you have to study for many hours as history, it is more than doing exercises, phrases ...
English can also be learned by watching videos, series, movies, songs, although I think it is best to go to places where English is spoken.
Years ago when I went to my aunt's house, the movies she put on were in English because she said that she learns more and her teacher had told her to watch movies in English.
In the English class they put us some videos where they teach us things like some times, vocabulary and more. This year I have made the video of English about that program and in the video we decided to explain what we were giving to people who maybe they didn't understand it because they understood it and also for us, we really liked making that video because of the laughter and we also learned things ...
I think we should watch more videos like that to learn more and put English audio in our homes so that later on the exams is easier.
