BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

Japan switches off nuclear power

Read this newspaper article (The Guardian) and listen about this issue:

and what can you tell me about GREEN ENERGIES?

What does 'nukes' mean?

  1. In my opinion what is going to do Japan is very important, because if they switch off the nuclear power they will not contaminate anymore, although they will need a lot of energy.

In the one hand, for example Kansai Electric Power provide 30% of the electricity to power the world's third largest economy. In the other hand it will not happen the same as with Fucushima reactor another problem that energy analysts said that Japan's shutdown, combined with Germany's commitment to end nuclear power production by 2022, was pushing up gas prices on the international markets.

There are many advantages and disadvantages, in my opinion should do your best to the world.

  2. Japan is the second country that produces more energy through nuclear power after the United States.
In Japan, there aren't many rivers, so they can't get hydropower. Besides it isn't a very rich country to import energy from abroad, therefore, the only solution that the government has found to this problem is the creation of nuclear reactors.

Firstly, nuclear power has many advantages :
    - It doesn't burn fossil fuels to produce electricity, so it doesn't send carbon dioxide to the atmosphere.
    - It produces far more energy at a lower cost.
    - It produces more energy in less time.

However, it has many disadvantages too:
    - It produces radioactive pollution that are very harmful for people's health.
    - Building a nuclear reactor costs a lot of money.
    - The wastes must be deposited in safe places.

In my opinion, nuclear power produces much energy, but they have many dangers to the environment and the health of the population.
I think that after the incident in Fukushima, the Japanese government should reduce the number of nuclear reactors in Japan and look for other good alternative which can produce the same energy for the country.

  3. Nuclear power plants are one of the most efficient ways to produce energy on huge scales, to not say that it´s the best one, because for some reason I guess that can vary on each one´s opinions. It´s well known that most of the most developed countries in the world uses in some measure the benefits of nuclear power plants.

As the documentary called Ten million states, after a wide research and study about all the ways people generates electricity nowadays, nuclear energy is the only realistic and accesible solution for the increasing problems that are global warming and the increment of human population. Since it produces a lot of energy from very few resources that are less likely to start lacking off like fossils, and their emisions while they can be radioactive when not contained correctly, as the protocols say, they don´t produce any negative effects to the atmosphere due to the lack of resultant carbon dioxide in the proccess.
If it´s true that it can take a lot of money to build them, it´s true as well that at then end it is profitable and generates a lot of jobs from common ones like builders, electricians, people to build the furniture of inside, etc... to jobs that require high qualification to make it work and supervise the place, which can help the problems of young qualified people going to work to foreign nations and the proccess of building a lot of nuclear plants would incentivate the study of a lot of young people into science and other important subjects.

If it´s true that in history there has been a couple of events that ended in a disaster, it isn´t fair to mention to mention them without pointing out that both of them were result of negligence and a break of protocol. Fukushima was result of a earthquake in magnitude 9.0 followed by a equally seaquake and a tsunami that hitted the central, which was built really close to the shore, is difficult for any kind of building to be able to hold against such difficulties. While Chernobyl was result of the Soviet Union refusing to build the containment measures and knowingly refused to use the aprropiated enclosure, and still only ended in a fatal way after a energy shut down in the fourth power plant.

By my point of view, nuclear energy is the best option in a realistic scenario, to create the energy we use nowadays.
