BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

  1. I read the information about Festival feelings. Christmas holly in Spain was 'Acebo de Navidad'.Lles aquifolim is a species of holly native to western and southern Europe, northwest Africa, and southwest Asia. It's the species familiar in Christmas decoration. It's a tree, it can exceed 10 metres in height. It is usually found as a shrub or a small tree about 1 metre tall with a straight trunk and pyramidal crown, which branches from the base. It is slow growing and it doesn't usually fully mature due to grazing, cutting, or fire. It can live five thousand years, but usually doesn't reach 100.

  3. Holly is a shrub or small tree. It can life 500 years, usually it lives 100 years. It is part of the Christmas decorative tradition. There are found in West of Asia and Europe.
It is originally from Central Europe as Christmas ornament because it usually has nuts at that time.

I think the Spanish word for holly is mistletoe.

I think the Spanish word for 'mistletoe', as it is called in English, is 'muérdago'.
