BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

  1. I think that I don't like tsunamis because it is a giant wave that destroys everything if that happened here in Molvizar destroyes houses. The tsunami that occurred in Japan in 2011 left many dead I hope there is more tsunamis in these last years.

  2. A tsunami, also kwown as seismic sea wave, is a series of waves in the water caused by the displacement of a large volume of water. It is caused by earthquakes, volanic eruptions and other underwater explosions, landslides, glacier calvings, meteorite impacts and other disturbances above or below water all have the potential to generate a tsunami.

India has he longest recorded history of tsunamis. The most devasting tsunami killed around 230000 people. In the Mediterranen Sea we haven't got to be worried about tsunamis, because the Mediterranean Sea isn't enough big to be created a gigantic wave. So we are safe here in Motril.

I think a tsunami is a very important issue to be aware, more know that the climate change is creating more and more destructives things. I n my opinion the goverments should do something to stop this.

  3. A tsunami, also known as seaquake, is a phenomenon destructive who causes waves are larger than normally, cause by the motion of the energy who travels by the water. Its energy is produced behind the water of a eruption of a volcano, a slipping of ground underwater generate, for the slipping tectonic plate who release energy into the water. This energy travel to the surface, moves water and rises it above the normal sea level, but the gravity rises pushes down and does expand the energy horizontally. That, tsunami is born. It moves more than 800 km/h.

Pacific Ocean tsunami was the worst disaster of the history, and the Fukushima's power plant where a lot of persons died, too. It is very dangerous, for this the people shouldn't live very nearer to the sea, although there are partitions wall and more, because the power of the nature is unpredictable.

  4. A tsunami is a series of waves proceeding from the ocean that sends big waves of water. These walls of water can cause a widespread destruction when they strike the coast. These waves are caused normally by big submarine earthquakes in the edges of the tectonic plate. When the soil of the ocean in an edge of the plate rises or descends suddenly, it displaces the water that exists in it and throws it in the shape of undulating waves that will turn into a tsunami.

The most of the tsunamis, they are produced in the Pacific Ocean, they also can be caused by slides of land undergrounds or volcanic eruptions. The tsunamis cross the sea as rapid as a jet. They can cross the Pacific Ocean in less than one day.

  5. Once in 479 bc a Tsunami saved a town from on enemy atttac people think that the goof of the sea saved the,.
Nowadays we know that a tsunami is caused by the energy a under the water and earth quakes on the ocean floor.
This video shows us that powerful tsunamis are. And as they said on the video: when nature is too powerful to fight the best thing is to get out of the way.

  6. A tsunami is a series of waves coming from the Ocean, sending great waves of water, up to 30.5 meters, inward.

Huge waves are usually caused by large undersea earthquakes at the edges of tectonic plate.

The best defense against a tsunami is the early warning that allows people to seek higher ground.

One of the most devastating tsunamis occurred in 2004 in the Indian Ocean which killed nearly 230,000 people.
The earthquake was 9.1 degrees and it was caused because the epicenter was only 9 kilometers deep.

In 2011, a magnitude 8.9 earthquake caused a tsunami in Japan, which left many minds and devastated images.

  7. Tsunamis and earthquakes are internal movements of the earth that are almost always destrcutivos to humans . Formerly there was no equipment to detect earthquakes and tsunamis today if there.Best to avoid deaths in these phenomena is evacuate all people to leave there and warn before it happens

In 2004 there was a tsunami in the ocean indicated caused by an undersea earthquake 30km from the surface which lasted about 10 minutes . There were many deaths in different countries of the Indian ocean coast earthquake was of magnitude 9.1 .

I think humans are ultimately more prepared for these phenomena

  8. A tsunami is a complex event in the bind big waves produced when extraordinary phenomenon vertically moved a big water mass. This type of waves are very dangerous. It is estimated that 90% of these phenomena are caused by earthquakes, in which case they are more correct and accurate name of "tectonic tsunamis."

The 11st March of 2011 was a big tsunami in Japan. The tsunami created waves of forty metres. Happen in the sea, front the coast Honshu. The tsunami during six second and they were 20 896 people died, 3084 missed and 6025 wounded.

  9. A tsunami is a big wave created near the coast by a submarine earthquake or volcanic eruption, which can travel at a speed of 50 km / h in either direction. The word tsunami comes from two Japanese words. Tsu means "port" and nami means "wave".

Most tsunamis in history are Indonesia in 2004 with 230,000 deaths and 10000 Lisbon among many others. The tsunami that had more strength in the final years was the tsunami of Sendai (Japan), which had a number of deaths in 9000 and 18,000 deaths and a wave of 13 meters.

Today, scientists can know when it will produce a tsunami as major earthquakes or withdrawal of the sea. In case of alert, follow a few tips such as: go to higher areas of 30 meters and not down until authorities say it.

In conclusion, the tsunamis are very dangerous and many Asian countries are always on alert but if carried out a series of precautions the number of victims can be reduced a lot.

  10. The tsunami is a series of very long oceanic waves produced by earthquakes. In my opinion Tsunami is the most dangerous of phenomena because that destroys all places. A Tsunami could cause a big catastrophe like that happened in Japan. There are still buildings that remain the same, destroyed. Until now, geologists believed that in the deep ocean, where the rocks are stronger, the motions of tectonic plates could cause a strong elastic rebound while near the surface, where the seabed is composed of softer and less compressed rocks, the intensity of this movement was reduced.

  11. A tsunami also known as a seismic sea wave or as a tidal wave, is a series of waves in a body of water caused by the displacement of a large volume of water, generally in an ocean or a large lake. Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and other underwater explosions (including detonations of underwater nuclear devices), landslides, glacier calvings, meteorite impacts and other disturbances above or below water all have the potential to generate a tsunami.A quake of 8.2 magnitude has struck off northern Chile, triggering a tsunami alert and killing at least five people.

The US Geological Survey said the quake struck at 20:46 local time (23:46 GMT) about 86km (52 miles) north-west of the mining area of Iquique.
Waves of up to 2.1m (6ft) have hit some areas in Chile, and there have been power cuts, fires and landslides.
Tens of thousands of people were evacuated in affected areas, where a state of emergency has been declared.

  13. A tsunami is also know as a seismic sea wave or as a tidal wave. Tsunamis are giant waves caused by earthquakes or undersea volcanic eruptions. As a tsunami travels into the shallower waters of the coast, the tsunami goes slower and increases its height. When it finally arrives at the coast, it can reaches up to thirty metres high and moves faster tan a person can run.

In my opinion, tsunamis are the most dangerous phenomena!

The 11st March, 2011 was a giant tsunami in Japan. It created waves of nearly fourty metres high. That's incredible!! Lots of people died because of it, and there were lots of people wounded and missed..

  14. Debris from the Japanese Tsunami which took place in 2011 is still being washed up on America´s West Coast. The latest thing that has been found is a 66 foot dock to which boats where tied to. It was washed up in Oregon. Several fishing boats have also appeared, along with plastic signs and buoys. It is difficult to estimate how much of the debris originates from Japan and the tsunami. Some items however, because they have writing on them have been traced back to a particular place in Japan

One of the worries about this debris is that certain species such as exotic fish and crabs have arrived in the flotsam. Some species of fish have survived in water inside the fishing boats. Biologist and environmentalists are worried that these invading species will upset the equilibrium of the ecological system of the western coast of the USA.

The effects of the tsunami of 2011 on Japan were devastating and even today 4 years later and 2000 miles away its affects can be seen

  15. A tsunami is a wave or set of waves that occur in a body of water to be violently pushed by a force that moves vertically. Earthquakes, volcanoes, landslides and coastal or even underground explosions of a great magnitude can generate this phenomenon

Two days later I read at newspaper a notice that said if you look 3.11 in Yahoo the search engine automatically give ten yenes for the affected by the tsunami.
In my opinion this is a great form of support for those who lost everything in the tsunami

  16. Tsunamis are giant waves produced by earthquakes originating in the sea. Tsunamis we know have occurred on islands in the Indian Ocean.

They are bad for causing major landslides , flooding large buildings and even sometimes there are injuries, deaths and many children orphaned .

Although scientists try to predict tsunamis , it is quite difficult and has not been consuido yet.

No one can fight the forces of nature.

  17. The earthquake and tsunami in Japan in 2011, officially named by the Japan Meteorological Agency as the earthquake in the Pacific in 2011 Tōhoku region of 11 March, was a magnitude 9.0 Mw earthquake that created waves up to 40.5 meters away. The tsunami earthquake occurred at 14:46:23 local time on Friday March 11, 2011. The epicenter of the quake was in the sea off the coast of Honshu, 130 km east of Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. The earthquake occurred because of a shift between the Pacific Plate and the North American plate.
Killed thousands of peple and left the country destroyed. In television we have seen this week comparing the photos after the earthquake with the current situation and I look awesome.
Although scientists try to create tusnamis warning systems, is very complicated because earthquakes are already difficult to predict. Hopefully some systems are believed to predict especially in those countries where it is usually earthquakes often.

In 2011, there was a tsunami and a seismic in Japan, it was found in front of the coast of Hanshu, only lasted six minutes and caused a lot damages, since land subsidence.
The Agency of Japanese State police confirmed 15,845 deaths, 3,380 missing persons,And 5,893 injured. And four years later there are of new life.

In mi opinion are very dangerous.

  22. A tsunami is big wave produced by a quake on the seabed due to the collision of two tectonic plates. In 2004. one day later of Christmas, on 26 December was the the biggest tsunami in the last ages. It was in the ocean pacific, leaving more than 260.000 persons, who are dead, missing or without a home. There is a film about this phenomenon, "Lo Imposible". The film tells how the Spanish doctor María Belón and her family survivedwhen they were in their Chritsmas holidays in the coast of Tailand.

  24. Everyone has heard about Japan's famous tsunami in 2004, because of the film "the impossible", which is a film about a family that goes to rest during Christmas holidays to Tailand, where a tsunami took place. The story tells us how they survived and how a tsunami can affect a city and around the world. The tsunami in Tailand affected 280,000 people, a lot of people died and the rest was without house and with wounds.

A tsunami is a tidal wave originated in the sea by an earthquake created in the tectonic plaques underwater and that reches the coast.
Throughout history many tsunamis have taken place in places like Alaska, Valdivia, Colombia, Nicaragua, Hokkaido, Central and South of Chile, and the most recent one in 2018 in Indonesia.

From my point of view tsunami is a terrible atmospheric phenomenon that we should consider.

  25. Tsunamis and earthquakes are produced by internal movements of the earth and these natural disasters are destructives for life of humans, animals, plants.. A tsunami is a serie of waves coming from the Ocean,up to 30.5 meters.

The earthquake in Japan in 2011 named by the Japan Meteorological Agency as the earthquake in the Pacific in 2011. The film “Lo imposible” it´s based on a Japan tsunami on 26 December of 2004 ,it was in the ocean pacific. This natural disaster make that more 280.000 get lost, lose their home or even die, this story could be tell by Maria Belon, a doctor that was with her family in Tailand in Christmas, luckily they survived.

In television we watch this things sometimes but we don´t pay more attention because in Spain this disasters are not usual. This thing could generate a lot of hurt for people as we could help who lives in the zones that this is more often these things appeared.

In conclusion the specialists can predict the tsunamis but they can´t control them as the nature is free, random and wise. We could try take care of enviroment for try to reduce the effects of nature in the earth
