BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

Cities and songs

Here's an interesting article about the issue. Send me any song connected to a city that you know or write any comments about the topic.

From ‘The Streets of Philadelphia’ to ‘Viva Las Vegas,’ an interactive map of songs about your city (The Washington Post)

Here's my hint for Dublin!!!!

And here's José Julián's hint for Dublin too (link to the version by the Dubliners):

  2. To begin I would say the first good thing about living in a big city is that it ofers many servicies such as hospitals, cinemas, languages school, music school, shops, museums, theatres… Another good thing is you live with neigbours who can help when you need them. But above all I would like living in a city because there are many things to do.
However living in the city have negative things, firstly there is most polluction and many noise, secondly the housing is more expensive. There are more flats than houses. Thirsly you have to go by car everywhere because all is fair fear.
But I’m general the ideal is have two houses, one in the country and another in the city.
