BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

Le Tour de France est fini...mais Paris est toujours là!!!

Even if the Tour de France is finished, we still have the city of Paris to visit. Why??? To begin with, at this time of the year (end of July and August) the weather is most suitable to go sightseeing (cool temperatures), fewer people and loads of things to do and monuments and museums to visit.

However, remember that Chris Froome has just won his second Tour de France!!!!

  3. I still haven’t visited France, but I think that France is a very beautiful country, because in France there a lot of fantastic buildings to visit and to enjoy them, for example the Eiffel Tower, which is for me the most famous building, the Arch of Triumph, the Notre-Dame Cathedral, etc …

I don’t like much cycling, but I know something about the tour of France because it is very famous. I know that it’s a competition during three weeks in July. I know that the winner of the tour is Chris Froome, because I saw it on TV.

In the future, I would like to visit Paris for seeing a stage of the tour of France and also for seeing the fantastic buildings.

  4. I was in Paris in February with the Offcial Languages School. It was an awesome trip! It was the first time that I was in France. We were there for one week, it was very cold but it rained only one of these day.

In Paris, we saw lots of famous monuments and places like the Eiffel Tower, The Louvre Musuem where I could see for the first time 'The Mona Lisa', we also saw The Notre Dame's Cathedral, the most famous cemetery in the world 'Cimetiére du Pére Lachaise, where there are buried many famous people like Eugene Delacroix, Victor Noir, Gilbert Becaud, Oscar Wild, etc. One thing that I really liked was the boat trip by the river Seine. We also visited 'Galeries Lafayette' where there were lot of make up, clothes, etc, but there were very expensive.

We moved from place to place throught Paris by subway and RER.

In summary, I did lots of things that I wanted to do since I was little, even, a man made me a caricature :)
And the most important, I revised my French!! I would like to go other time.

Neither I haven't seeing the tour of France nor I don't know who is Chris Froome xD

  5. Je peux faire le commentaire en Française?
Alors, le Tour est fini, mais ça m'est égal parce que je n'aime pas le cyclisme.

In France, there are a lot of things to see. First, the famous Eiffel Tower, the river Seine, the Louvre Museum, Disneyland, the Palace of Versailles, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Arch of Triumph, the Mont Blanc and too many things. (The Mont Saint-Michel, the same as you did). This summer the temperatures are higher than other years, and the best is to travel to the coast, such as la Côte d'Azur, C'EST FORMIDABLE.

As it is normal at this time of year, there are too many tourists everywhere, and sometimes this can be a problem.

Spanish pride. Miguel Indurain has won five consecutive times the tour. One of the most important Spanish sportsmen.

I haven't visited this wonderful city, but during this summer I have gone to a lot of places, as Loro Sexy.

  8. Like Zaz's song says, “Paris sera toujours Paris”, I was in Paris two years ago and I found it quite interesting, there are many places to visit: the Eiffel Tower, the river Seine, the Louvre Museum, the Palace of Versailles, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Arch of Triumph… I couldn’t visit the entire city, so for the next time I would like to visit especially the Louvre Museum and Montmartre and I also would like to stay longer there.

Talking about the Tour de France 2015, we have to congratulate Chris Froome for his second Tour de France, and also to our Spanish cyclists: Valverde, Purito ( who won two stages of the Tour de France), Ruben Plaza (who won a stage) and also Contador, who hadn’t got his opportunity because of the tiredness of the Giro, but who fought hard with Froome, Quintana, Valverde, Nibali and Purito.

However, Paris has as well its problems one of them is its population, the best time to go is in July or August because the Parisians aren’t there (they could say that they aren’t as friendly as Spanish people). Another problem is their food, because it’s a well known fact that in France there is good food, but if you want to eat in Paris and anyone recommends a good place to eat, you have to pay too much for a common food like in most Europe capitals.

In conclusion, Paris is a fabulous city to visit, but you have to be careful of what you buy or eat and when you go, if you don't want to have a bad experience there. In fact, not many tourists know more than Paris in France and this is really sad, because Paris is not like the other parts of France.

  9. Two years ago, I went to that wonderful and big city, but I only stayed one day, it was a pity. I went in the summer and there was a lot of tourist so it was a bit difficult to walk.

I visited many places as the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs-Élysées, the Obelisk, and many other things that now I can’t remember. I really liked the monuments from Paris, but I think that there are also many places as interesting as them, for example the Mont Saint-Michel, the Dune de Pila, Futuroscope…

My parents went there last week and they visited Roland Garros, the Louvre, le Moulin Rouge, Montmarte cemetery, Montparnasse cemetery… They have stayed in the capital of France one week so they have had enough time to visit all. However they told that in Louvre’s museum they were 6 hours and they didn’t have time enough!!! It’s crazy!

All in all, I would like to have gone there, but I was in a French course in Rouen so I couldn’t. I wish one day I go there again for watch better that amazing city.

  11. One of my dreams is to visit Paris. I don't really like cycling, but in the Tour de France of this year I have seen that Chris Froome has won his second prize in this event. The Tour of France is a competition that has place during three weeks of July. I know that this competition has twenty-one stages. Cyclists have to deal with rain, slopes, descents and even falls.

I still haven't visited France, but I think France is a beautiful country, because it has great and unique buildings such as the Eiffel Tower, Madeleine, the Arc de Triomphe, the Hôtel de Ville, the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Luxembourg Palace, for me the best building, the Pantheon, the Palace of Versailles, and too many fantastic buildings.

I still haven’t visit this city but I want to visit this beautiful city sooner or later for see the important buildings of París and of the world.

  12. So, I'm going write this comment about the next topic: "Mon expérience inoubliable visite à Paris."

My first visit to Paris was a remarkable experience, which I'll never forget. We intended to stay until the New Year in a hotel located in a suburb of Paris and visit the city every day. It was a great feeling to arrive in Paris and see the city of light history. It was dark in the evening, Christmas lights illuminating the whole city. It was bright, almost like daytime. The streets were very busy, full of shoppers marching from one shop to another. I was fascinated seeing The Palais Garnier, which is the Paris Opera House.

When we were in the centre of Paris, I saw another Hotel de Ville. It was a magnificent large building that looked like a palace. I suggested to my wife that it was possibly a five-star branch of the same hotel. It was only when I visited the tourist office to get directions to various sightseeing places that I found out the Hotel de Ville is actually the city’s municipal office!

We stayed in Paris for ten days and had a fantastic time. I loved everything about this romantic city and vowed to never hesitate to come back to experience it again and again. But I promised myself that I would learn the language!

  14. Paris is a fantastic place where you can stay all your life because it´s very beautiful. My favourite monument in Paris is The Eiffel Towel. It´s amazing!

When I went to Paris I, went to Disney Land. It´s a great park with a lot of attractions. All of them are amazing. They are very special because all of them are from a Disney TV programe.

I also ate very strange and disgusting things. I ate `Roquefort´ cheese with little worms! ARGG. I also ate a delicious croissant with chocolate. That was the best!

We stayed five days there and it was great. I bough a very funny teddy bear, it was blue, white and it was from a film called Lilo and Stich, which is a Disney one.

I want to go there again!

  15. Paris is one of the cities of France and the world. I have not had the opportunity to go, but for what people count is a spectacular city, it has monuments and very nice places where you can go to visit, for example the Louvre Museum, the Eiffel Tower.

Although it is a beautiful city, it also has its bad things like for example the attacks, since the country in the last years is being attacked by many terrorists.

Not mentioning what happened less than two weeks ago in the capital of France, the fire of the Cathedral of Notradame, was a very sad thing for the country since nobody expected it, so they say it was because there were scaffolding Butts of the workers, although it was not provoked, was somewhat catastrophic for the city.

In my opinion I would like to go to Paris because it is a beautiful city, I recommend to all the people that can go that fence.
