BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

  1. Palmyra was an old city in the Syrian desert. Palmyra also was the capital of Palmyra’s Empire. It was added to the list of World Heritage Sites in 1980 by Unesco.

On 18 August 2015, Palmyra's retired antiquities chief al-Asaad was beheaded by ISIL after being tortured for a month to get information about the city and its treasures, but al-Asaad refused to give any information to his captors. The jihadists destroyed the temple of Baal on 23 August 2015 according to Abdulkarim and activists, but the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the destruction took place one month earlier.

In my opinion the jihadist are people very dangerous, because they kill a lot of people and also destroyed historic monuments. I think that nobody is sure about the jihadists attack, though the most of the attacks are in Syria, Palestine, etc…

  3. This case is a loss for all the humanity. I am going to talk about the archaeological site of Palmyra.
Palmyra was an old city situated on the desert of Syria. It was chosen as World Heritage Site in 1980 by Unesco.

The temple which was destroyed was The Baalshamin temple, which had stood there for nearly 2,000 years. It was considered one of the best preserved temple on the site.

The three US men or the heroes, how the people know them now, were on board of the TGV heading for Paris when a gunman opened fire. They and two others chased him, tackled him and were able to subdue him. Some of them are soldiers. They deserve a great applause from all of society because of their act.
