BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

  1. Some time ago I saw the movie series " Back to the Future " . In them you could see the characters as they traveled in time and showed us new inventions they thought.
Now we are in 2015 , we can see watching movies that the protagonists came to our present time and see some of the inventions that are a reality now.
Although it seems very rare, in the nineteenth century writer Jules Verne also wrote some books that speak of the future. They travelled to the moon for example , and that was fulfilled in 1969 .
It's amazing the ability of some people to imagine the future and predict !

  3. I think “Back to the future” made us dream a lot about we could use all those gadgets and incredible invents in the future.

Lexus has created the “hoverboard” like in the Robert Zemekis' film. Marty Mcfly dreamed it, and now, it comes true. It is incredible how advance technology! Lexus created it the past 5th August. And now, he is going to introduce it the 30th anniversary of the film.

Hendo is the name of the first flying skate made by the man. Hendo hoverboard has be used on a surface of copper or aluminium, because it works with magnetic technology. (It can't skating on the water like in the film). And it can be used by seven minutes!

I has seen the film “Back to the future” and I enjoyed it a lot.

  5. 21st October 2015 was the date that Emmet Brown programmed the futurist amazing car for Marty McFly to go to the future in 26th October 1985, hoping to arrive in a very futuristic future they didn't know anything about. However, they were not totally wrong because this year in August, one of the inventions that “Back to the future” predicted has become true. The invention of the first hoverboard called Hendo is pretty amazing. But, my question is: can films like “Back to the future” of Robert Zemeckis or books like “De la Terre à la Lune Trajet direct en 97 heures” of Jules Verne predict our future like they did?

On the one hand, most science fiction films have been created to predict what our future will be like. They have done it, following evidences and leading them to the end to make their own future. There are some that predict a good future, and others that don’t. Nowadays, most of them talk about a near future in which robots will be in charge of most tasks we have to do, but we also have fear they may take over the control of the power or important things that control our lives.

On the other hand, futuristic movies are always searching a big audience and they sometimes make some foolish predictions that are impossible to achieve. Most of them talk about aliens and universal crazy wars, it’s true that there could be life in other planets, but I don’t reckon that this type of life will exist one day.

To sum up, science fiction films can predict our future, but I think it is us that make the important decisions about our future: polluting - planting new trees, taking a car - taking a bike. Therefore, I recommend you all to make good decisions that will help us our planet in the future and that will make our lives better, as life is too short.

  6. I haven't seen the film Back to the future, but I know that it is about one person who travels to the future and we can see many technologic advances.
I think that the world has changed very much in the last years, we have better phones, intelligent televisions, MP4 players, video games, etc. So, some of the predictions of the films are correct. I don't think that robots will take people jobs, because robots can't do everything, they don't have feelings.
Technology is always changing, but I think that this has an end in the future.

  7. The film Back to the future shows how our life would be nowadays.
Although, it shows some inventions which we haven´t got: for example, the flying skate. It is imposible for us do skiing in these skates but there is a company concretely ´Hendo´ which has invented it.
This type of films is important because we can see how science fiction movies can predict the future. The advantages in sciences are really useful because they make our lives easier or they can solve serious healthy problems.

  8. This film is quite old, it was created 30 years ago but it some inventions that are beginning to incredible use.It is already we saw a car traveling by air or a shoe to fit the foot size of any person .
The technological progress is very fast, so I think that whatever we imagine will be possible in a very short time, even travel through time or travel to other planets in very short time.

  9. In this comment I am going to talk about the film “Back to the future” and the hoverboard. Some years ago, I watched this film and also the sequels and I really like them, because it talks about the human’s dream of travelling in the time and it is very funny. This new board can be a very important invention and probably will change our way of travelling.

First of all, “Back to the future” is a 1985 American science-fiction adventure comedy film directed by Robert Zemeckis, written by Zemeckis and Bob Gale, produced by Gale and Neil Canton, and starring Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Crispin Gloverand Thomas F. Wilson. In the film, teenager Marty McFly is sent back in time to 1955, where he meets his future parents in high school and unfortunately becomes his mother falls in love with him. Marty must repair the problem of his mother, because he doesn’t repair, he will disappear. Fortunately, there is a crazy scientist Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown who has created the time machine and will help him to return to his time.

A hoverboard is a levitating board used for personal transportation in the films Back to the Future Part II and Back to the Future Part III. A hoverboard is a skateboard without wheels. This type of skateboards is still being investigated, because they aren’t good enough.

All in all, I think “Back to the future” and all his sequels were very good films, but I have heard that this films are going to be remade and modernized, but I am not sure at all. I hope one day we will go to school, to our job, to our house… in a hoverboard, because I think it would be faster and comfortable.

  10. In my opinion this film is quite old but it´s a really good film, I have seen this for three or four times, the story is fantastic but it´s a little bit confusing, it´s amazing how the director could think that innovations in the past, I remember a film whose name´s Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and it´s a classic science fiction novel by French writer Jules Verne published in 1870, this film is about a submarine, a submarine in 1870?.

I think that the nowdays science fiction fims will be real in the future, but in a closer future, films like Tron Legacy, Avatar, Elysium...

  12. Probably, we have already watched the film “Back to the future” or we have heard about it. Just listening to the title we can have an idea about what it is about, in the case that we haven't watched it. It was released in 1985, and after that, they were released two more films.

On the one hand, there are many films which show something about the future, and in many cases they are right. For instance, in this film specifically, there are many things which are real nowadays, but there are others which don’t exist yet, like flying cars. During the lockdown, many films which are about different viruses and pandemics have become the most watched films.

On the other hand, despite how fun they are, there are people who don’t like these films. This happens because they don’t like imagining what the future will be like. As some are so realistic and many of them have been ‘fulfilled’, they don’t want to know how the future will be like. However, these films usually have a lot of audience.

In conclusion, the films which are about all these things related to the future, extraterrestrials, end of the world or a future zombie invasion have many success. In my opinion, I don’t like this genre so much, I prefer watching other films which are more realistic

  14. I think that every young person that had watched the film Back to the future has dreamed about having a hoverboard like the one that appears in the film, and nowadays there exist some prototypes of that thing (it can't obviusly fly like the one in the film, but is really similar).

I also dreamed with having the boots that McFly has when he travels into the future. They are a good invention for lazy people that don't want to tie their shoes like me. Or having a Delorean, the car that McFly and Doc uses to travel through the time
