BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

  3. Fidel Castro is not with us anymore Amazing News. This Cuban revolutionary politician was the Prime Minister of Cuba for almost twenty years. In 2008 his brother became the president of Cuba because he was old and ill.

He was very controversial during his life and he still is now that he is dead. Cuba was isolated during many years and some people see Fidel Castro as a dictator who abused human rights. This is another exciting moment of history where Cuba have to open the doors for its development and we will witnessit.

  4. Fidel Castro

On ever television station and in every newspaper that I have saw today, they are all talking about the death of Fidel Castro.

I didn’t really know a lot about this person until now, but I now realize how important he was for Cuba, some people say that he was just another dictator and that he done a lot of damage to Cuba, whereas other people say that he has made a lot of good, for example with their free health care.

I haven’t really got an opinion on this man as I don’t know enough about him, all I can say is that he is defiantly someone who everyone is talking about

  5. Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz was born on 13th August in 1926 and died on 25th November in 2016. He was a Cuban revolutionary and politician who governed the Republic of Cuba as Prime Minister from 1959 to 1976 and then as President from 1976 to 2008. He defended the communist and the Cuban nationalist. He was also the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba. When he entered to the government, Cuba became a one-party socialist state; industry and business were nationalized, and state socialist reforms were implemented throughout society.

Many people think that he was a dictator and he was liar and many others think that he made a lot of good changes and saved Cuba. It is true that he didn’t let the Cubans elect him, but it is also true that he has improved the health service, the education service, the economy…

Fidel Castro had enemies and allies. Due to Cold War, he entered in the communist side with Russia and he had as enemy the capitalism side such as USA. Because of being communist, the USA became his enemy for long time and Americans tried to kill him more than 500 times and tried to the destroy the Cuban’s government. However, they couldn’t and USA attempted a new strategy: blocking all the island from the rest of the world. Nevertheless, Cuba survived and now, the relations between Cuba and USA are improving.

The future of Cuba nowadays is a bit uncertain. Cuba has 2 options: to open his frontiers and let the capitalism or being still closed to the rest of the world. I hope they choose the right the decision and their future is prosperous and successful.

  6. Fidel Castro was born on 13th August 1926 and died on 25th November 2016. He was a Cuban soldier, revolutionary and politician. He was Prime Minister for nearly twenty years and then he was president until 2008, when his brother got his position. He also served as First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba from 1961 until 2011 like Marxist-Leninist and Cuban nationalist. It is known that his parents were from Spain. Castro adopted leftist anti-imperialist policies while studying law at the University of Havana.

One the one hand, he was a lawyer. He was famous when he attacked the Moncada headquarters, so he was imprisoned and then moved to Mexico. He was the revolutionary leader of the Cuban revolutionary movement and he defeated the Fulgencio Batista regime.

On the other hand, the relationship between Cuba and the USA has not been good since The Bay of Pigs Invasion. The USA attempted to remove him by assassination, economic blockade and counter-revolution. Castro formed an alliance with the Soviet Union and allowed them to place nuclear weapons in Cuba, known as the Cuban Missile Crisis, a defining incident in the Cold War in 1962.

After his death, Castro remains as a controversial world figure. He was given several international awards, and his supporters lauded him as a champion of socialism and anti-imperialism. Conversely, critics view him as a dictator whose administration ignored human-rights abuses, the exodus of a large number of Cubans, and the impoverishment of the country's economy. Through his actions and his writings he has significantly influenced the political ideas.

To sum up, many people say that it is a good moment to open the doors of democracy and development in Cuba.

  7. Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz was born in Birán, Cuba. He was the fifth of nine children of Ángel María Bautista Castro y Argiz, who was from Galicia. His mother, Lina Ruz González, was a servant in his father's home who bore Fidel out of wedlock and they later were married several years after Angel's first wife died.

Fidel was known as a rebellious, loud, and troublesome child that was why he went to a Jesuit boarding school in Santiago de Cuba, where he was often teased by his wealthier classmates who called him a "peasant." Few years later Fidel studied law at University of Havana. He got marry with Mirta Diaz-Balart, a wealthy philosophy student with family ties to Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista. They had a son, Fidel, but after 5 years, the couple divorce.

Fidel spent several years in prison and exile and after that he lived in Mexico and New York City. After that he started the revolution Castro led an attack on the Moncada barracks on July 26, 1953. The attack, which was a major attack on Batista's hold of Cuba, found Castro once again imprisoned before he was released. After his release he went to the Yucatan, where he organized a rebel force that landed in Cuba in 1958 and after many successful battles, Castro rode triumphantly into Havana on January 8, 1959.

In my opinion, Castro was an intelligent and brave man but he unfortunately became in everything he was fighting against, so on the one hand I am glad that there are people who fight for the rights and freedoms of people, but it is Sad to see how these people become all that they hate just because they have the power.

  13. Cuba, officially the Republic of CUBA, is an island country. The territory is organized 15 provinces and a special municipality with Havana as the capital and most populous city. Cuba is one of the thirteen countries that make up the America Insular or islands of the Caribbean Sea, and one of the 35 of the American continent. Cuba is not a safe country. Many robberies take place, in the Cuban economy the companies are of state property and not private and the commercial objectives are specified and planned. That is why we speak of a planned economy.
