BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

  1. The origin of Yugoslavia dates back to the Second World War. After the communist victory in the Second World War, Yugoslavia was formed and comprised six republics, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia.

Yugoslavia broke up into six countries in the 90s, because of factors as ethnic tensions and a deteriorating economy that played a major role in the breakup of the country. It also includes cultural and religious divisions between the ethnic groups comprising the country, a decline of the communist ideology and the end of Cold War rivalry.

Petrovic was a Croatian professional basketball player. A shooting guard, he initially achieved success playing professional basketball in Europe in the 1980s before joining the NBA in 1989.

I have heard many times about Petrovic and I know he played for the Real Madrid basketball team since he was one of the best players in the world. He helped the Real Madrid to win the Spanish King's Cup against Barcelona, the main rival of them. Unfortunately, he only played one season in Spain, he wanted to play in the NBA.
At the age of 28, he died in a terrible car accident. He was travelling in a car with two women when their car fixed against a truck that had lost the control and had invaded the opposite rail due to the rain.

  2. Drazen Petrovic was born in Croatia the 22 of October, 1964. He was a basketball player who played in the position of escort, being considered as one of the best European players of the time of the 1980s his style of play allowed him to reach the NBA. Petrovic died in a traffic accident, he suffered on a German motorway at the height of the village of Dankendorf.

On the one hand, according to the video I've seen about Croatia, I find it very interesting for its history and sites to visit and attend typical events like the Pula's carnival, Bubovnik's winter festival ... where you can learn about this culture.

On the other hand, in Serbia has some of the most beautiful landscapes, there you can visit the archaeological site of Lepenski Vir, Gamzigrad, Studenica ... and about the nature the mountains of Brezovica, the mountain of Zlatar ...

To conclude, Petrovic was a great player since he gets differents medals in the Olympic Games and went very far in his career participating in the NBA. Petrovic is considered the crucial part of the vanguard of the current influx of European players in the NBA, to the loss of this great player who we will never forget.

  3. It is sad to see how the family ends up in the wake of a war, as this shows that the hunger for power in some people is more important than their family and that is a very sad thing. In history has happened many times, that because of a war two friends or brothers face, or simply not for a war if not for having power.

In many families the brothers fight over inheritance, when one brother has more inheritance than another, the latter becomes jealous of him and the fights begin. We all know someone that their parents and their children are fighting for this reason and it is a very sad thing.

In my opinion people should not only be moved by economic interests, there are other principles in this life more beautiful as friendship. Because if you always move for economic interests in the end you will end up in war or fight with many people.

  4. Yugoslavia was a country in Southeast Europe during most of the 20th century. It came into existence after World War I in 1918 under the name of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes.

Yugoslavia was constituted by six socialist republics, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia.

Yugoslavia Broke up into six countries as a result of some conflicts during the 1990s. After a period of political crisis in the 1980s The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia split apart, but the unsolved issues caused Yugoslav wars

Now, I´m going to talk about Drazen Petrovic, in my opinion one of the best three point shooters in the history, if not the best.
If I had to compare him with an nowdays basketball player I would compare him with Klay Thompson, because both of them are amazing shooters, good deferders, they have almost the same height and also both of them are shooting guards.

It is said that when Drazen was training and he missed a shot, he made a mark on the ground where he had failed the shot and then he had to throw 300 times from the same place

  11. Yugoslavia was formed before World War 2, end collpased in the last years of the 20th century. Where was the problem? Is it possible to be formed again? And the question I find the most inetersting and usually one of the least asked, there are more examples of this, and can it happen again?

At the beggining Yugoslavia was formed b the idea of a unified nation, based on a common slavic culture, and a way to defend themselves from a posible comeback of the Austro-hubgary empire or the Ottomans, who occupied their land for centuries. But like in everything in life not everyone was happy against this idea, nationalism was well viewed and was fastly rising in all europe and some other places in the world such as the British Raj, this is due to it was seen as a great ideology where being proud of from where you are and unite under a culture the people with different views and opinions of the world (until some austrian took german nationalism too far...). BUt after being invaded by Nazi Germany and tried to be controlled from both mayor powers in cold war, the feeling of union started to shake, with some territories being more strongly active to participate in any of the sides of both wars or staying neutral at them, resentment between the know as Socialist Federal Republics was being forged and when the Soviet Union collpsed in the late ´80s and at the beggining of the ´90s, it dragged down with it the Communist side, which made a mark specially in Yugoslavia, which exploded in interna conflicts and wars, starting a procces of dismantlement with no coming back.

Nowadays there are some examples of this states, that obviously in the extreme case of the end of Yugoslavia, but that commits wait i call the same "naive mistake". Examples are China, Russia, Italy Mauritania, and in a lower way, the nations with regional nationalism such as UK, Canada, Spain, Egipt and Syria. I´m not an expert, and I´m not going to try to act like one, but the way toresolve this isn´t easy, and it can´t work the same way in some places than in others, after all, people and culture it´s not the same in place like Israel, UK, Russia or Mauritania.

  14. Yugoslavia was the name chosen for a multicultural state that grouping several countries in the Balkan peninsula. First Yugoslavia was established in 1918 and the third Yugoslavia was dissolved in 2003.

This state was formed in December 1918 for the first time, when the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes was proclaimed. A decade later it was renamed the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and remained so until World War II, where it would pass into the hands of the Nazi army until 1944. With the end of the war, the Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia, also known as the second Yugoslavia, was formed. This was a socialist union and was ruled by Marshal Joseph Tito.

Almost two decades later, it was renamed the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and remained so until 1991, when Slovenia and Croatia chose to proclaim their independence from the union. This separation of countries was very informative and brought with it several war conflicts, the Yugoslav Wars broke out, with the final result of the independence of Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Two countries, Montenegro and Serbia, which was one of the most influential countries in the formation so far, chose to preserve the formation. The third Yugoslavia, known as the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, became official in 1992. Eleven years later, the formation disintegrated, thus making the dissolution of Yugoslavia official in 2003.
