BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

  1. Emoticons are a sequence of characters that usually represent a mood of the person writing the message. Today we no longer need anyone to explain the meaning of the emoticons we use, since this language is part of us so much that we use it daily in most of our messages, so much so that there are people who do not form a sentence without using Your favorite emoticon, even the science itself recommends its use to look more friendly and friendly or to create popularity in the networks .. For a couple of years using emoticons has become fashionable, so much that is present in most social networks, and are used by people around the world. When we speak, we constantly use gestures to illustrate what we mean by what is a multimodal language, writing removes that extra non-verbal information, but emoji allows us to re-incorporate it into our text. By simply seeing a series of emoticons together, we are able to understand the message they are trying to convey.

  3. Today, the use of the emojis is very frecuent; the people usually use them after of write a phrase. There are a lot of emojis in all applications. In App like WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat.. the use is daily.
There are emojis smiling, sad and astonished; and also, there are emojis that affirm and deny. To express time, weather, leisure and numbers so you can use the emojis.
All of them are understood for the society and everytime are more frecuent his use which you saves time for write a message.
Personally, I don’t use them because I prefer write all the text message and I waste time looking for the emoji that I search. Even so, I consider this a great invention and I am surr that a lot of people using every day this emojis.

  4. Have you ever post a message with an emoji? Can you understand emojis messages? In our day-to-day lives, we usually use emojis instead of words. So, do you believe that emojis will be an international language? Will it replace words?

As we all know, language evolutions. One such example is how in the origins, humans drew features on the wall of the caves or how the language was much more formal some years ago when you talked with your parents. Emojis have been used since we chatted with “Live Messenger”, thereafter with emails and nowadays, in social networks as Instagram, Whatsapp... Moreover, sometimes as the proverb says “One image says more than 1000 words”, in other words, an emoji can show our mood better than any word.

As opposed to, is there an emoji for each word? We have great mounts of words, but actually, we only have 722 emojis to express us. In the beginning of emojis' lives, we had fewer ones than now, so it will go on creating more. However, it is impossible that in the future, there would exist as emojis as words are.

Personally, I strongly believe that emoji will become an international language so that everybody understand faces “smiling, crying...”. Nonetheless, that won't replace our usual language, as everything we have to write can't be expressed by “faces”. And what's more, the elderly won't be able to understand it. From my personal opinion, they will say that all the innovations are nonsenses and it isn't known what to invent.

  5. To begin with, I'm going to write what is a emoji. It is a visual representation of an emotion, object or symbol. They are used in modern communication apps such as your smartphone’s text messaging or social networking apps such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat. There are a lot of different types of emojis, they represent animals, food, sports, vehicles, equipment, symbols or flags, so that you can use one of them in any type of conversation.

I've read on the Internet that the origin of emojis is in Japan where users of phones started to use picture messages as a way to communicate and mobile phone companies decided to create emojis.

Nowadays, emojis are very used by teenagers. They use them a lot, sometimes they don't write text and they only use emojis to communicate and the receiver of the message understand what he wanted to say. I think that we will continue using emojis for a long time and will appear new emojis, because they are an easier way to communicate.

  6. Today I´m going to talk about emojis. Emojis is a very common visual of an object, symbol or of an emotion. Now-a-day they are very common to use them in social networks like Whatsapp,Twitter or Instagram, but is it much more common in whatsapp. Some people use emojis all the times and they write short messages in this new “language”. There are a lot of different emojis for a lot of different situations .We have a person crying but we also have a person laughing.

In my view, I don´t like emojis too much so I don´t use them a lot,my parents instead they use them a lot,and they can send me an message where there are no text and there are only emojis.I also think that emojis will become a new language which we are going to use a lot.

  7. Emojis is a Japanese term that is used principally in messages of text.Only they were available in Japan, but now they are in Gmail, Whatsapp, Instagram, etc. I think that the emojis are more used in Whatsapp that in another application. Because the whole people have Whatsapp, even older people, but not all the persons have Instagram.

The first emoji was created in 1990 by Shigetaka Kurita, member of the equipment being employed at the i-mode, the platform for NTT's mobile Internet DoCoMo, the mobile operator of NTT.Periodically the Unicode extracts new emojis. In 2016 they appeared up to 72 new symbols.

I alone use the emoji of laugh, but the texts I write them with letter. There are persons who alone write with emojis and another people who does not use emojis.I think that in a few years they were extracting new emojis and there was coming one day in which we write with emojis and not with letter.

  9. Nowdays , the emojis are so popular in the world. All days people use this emojis in WhatsApp, Faceboook Twitter, Instagram and other kinds of applications. The emojis are drawings that express things.

The emojis help to express things better because it simulates facial expression or gestures that we do when we are talking. A message with only words can be bad interpreted because haven´t got a body expression.

The emojis can will become a new language because people use too much. The emojis help to have a good interaction with other person through applications. There is a film that name is “Emojis” and this film is very altual.

I think that emojis is a progress in the interaction on internet.

  10. I don't think that emoji can become a language on their own. Given that they lack a lot of functions that languages have. Most definitely, emoji have the capability of transferring meaning, just as we do through gestures, or drawings. But just being communicative does not mean that something is a full language.

In order for it to be a full language you have to have not only the channel through which it is being expressed, such as graphics; but also a grammar, that is a system that governs the sequences in which the language is used.

You can add emoji to whatever you are writing. I use emoji a lot, but I also use full coherent sentences….There are different kinds of writing. I use emoji but it doesn’t mean I am going to use them when I write an academic paper….I cannot use emoji in some contexts.

As I see it, Language is developed by how people use them. If people are not able to determine which emoji there are by their usage, it’s simply not going to develop. It will always be limited by what these groups think people want to use.

  11. A few years ago, sent messages or emails (even there who remember to send letters) and us farewells with a "Goodbye", "Let's see when we are" or "kisses!". Now not a day goes by we exaggerate our conversations with the popular images and close conversations with them. A breakthrough or an involution of the language?

If you take a look at your mobile phone conversations. Actually, the images replace words and impoverish the language, apart from replacing words like "Goodbye" or "kissing"? Because the truth is that not impoverish, but allowing emotional information.

It is clear that emotions are key to make conversations work. Even the cards that send the banks or the Ministry of whatever, informing us of our balance and our duties as citizens, they begin and end with a friendly: "Aparecida, Lady"; Information and excitement go hand in hand.

From my point of view, I think that the image may become an international language without problems, in such a way that everyone understands each other; but it is not a good idea to lose the language standard and each country.

  12. Emoticons are in our day to day for considerably less compared to the whole historical period.

The emoticons serve to show our receiver "our face" or mood more visually as we write. Before they should be done with the symbols we had on the keyboard but social networks such as Tuenti or Facebook, incorporate emoticons visually.

At present we couldn´t conceive a message without sending one of them, even the non-use of them can make people think that you are a very serious person or that you are in a bad mood like the use of whole sentences in capital letters or the use of the period at the end of the sentence, in the area of social networks means that you are angry.

From my point of view the emoticons were a great invention that allow us to be more visual when it comes to chatting with another person via mobile phone although nothing can overcome the face-to-face conversations.

Every year more or less emojis change and evolve, their number increases and their qualities improve. Emojis were created by japanese and when they created them, it was only in Japan but today they are around the world.
When emojis appear with text, they often supplement or enhance the writing, this is common because you can express yourself better and it is faster and more comfortable if you don't have enough time to write a long message.
In my opinion emojis are good to communicate and fast but they don't replace the writing

  18. Buffet is a meal on a large table where you can serve your own food , but is the buffet the best way of eating well and cheap ? . What do you think ? .

In Spain it is not very typical to find this type of restaurant but it is in the United States . There people choose this option many times .

Eating in a buffet could be a good option if you don´t want to spend a lot of money because they are usually very cheap compared to a normal restaurant . In addition , some of them offer you a great variety of food that you can select and also you can choose the quantity you want to keep your stomach full .

On the other hand , the food of a buffet is not of much quality . Often they choose to offer junk food like pizza or hamburguer or simple dishes like pasta , rice or salad . The food is not healthier than in a restaurant . Moreover they usually offer you a big variety of desserts to children like the typical chocolate fountain .

In my opinion I like eating in a buffet to choose all that I want but I don´t think it´s the healthiest option because there are cheap restaurants where you can eat very well too.

  19. Emojis are a series of characters, usually from a person's face, that are used a lot to communicate on social networks nowadays. Emojis represent emotions such as angry, joy, sadness or sleep so... could emoticons replace real language in the future? Are emoticons good or bad?

On the one hand, it is impressive how we can communicate with anyone in the world, whether they speak our language or not, through simple drawings. It's a great idea because, although we can't have a long conversation just with emojis, we can communicate a little with a person who speaks a language that we don't know; emojis are the universal language! In addition, emojis are very funny, we can use them to accompany a sentence, and it is really cool.

On the other hand, emojis can be bad in excess because there are people who don't know when to use emojis and when not and, for example, if you are writing a formal letter, you can't use emojis. Moreover, we must be careful when we use emojis because depending on which emoji you use to accompany a phrase, this may have a meaning or another, and we can make a mistake and post something on social networks that offends another person.

All in all, using emojis is fine, but we have to be careful with how we use them. In my opinion, emojis are cool but I don't think they can replace real language in the future because you can't say many things with them.

  21. Buffet is a place where you pay an amount of money and you can have all the food you want. It's a large table and you can serve your own food.

I think it's a good idea because if you are a person who likes eating, you can have a lot of food for a low price. Buffet's food isn't as good as a normal restaurant food. Food in normal restaurants is much better that in buffets, but it's much more expensive.

Every time I go to a buffet I eat a lot of food and at the end of the meal I usually get a tummy ache. When I go to a normal restaurant I don't get ill because I eat a normal amount of food and I enjoy it.

In fact, I think that buffets are a very good choice if you want to eat a lot for a low price, but it's food isn't as good as a normal restaurant food, so if you want to eat well and you don't care about the price go to a normal restaurant.

  22. A buffet is a place where they offer a wide variety of food and the diner or person who is going to eat can choose between different types. of dishes as you like, you can be eating interruptedly, it is not like in restaurants that you eat a first, second and third course, but you can choose from all the food that the buffet offers you can choose what you want.

In my opinion, as a positive aspect, it is very good because you can go with a lot of people and everyone can find any dish they like, but as a negative aspect, I think that the quality offered by the biffet food is not the same as the quality offers you any restaurant you go to, for example the pasta bite has a lot of pasta and a lot of variety and also not only pasta, you can take a lot of things and you can repeat as many times as you want and you can eat a lot of food, but it is not the same quality as if you go to an Italian restaurant where they offer a first course, a second and a dessert or a single dish, it has much less quality

In addition, some of them offer you a great variety of food that you can select and also you can choose the quantity you want to keep your stomach full.

In Spain, this way of eating is not very popular. In my country people usually go to bars to eat tapas, but people abroad go normally to buffets to eat whatever they want for a less amount of money than in normal restaurants, but the quality of the food is much poorer.

On the other hand, the food of a buffet is not of much quality. Often, they choose to offer junk food like pizza or burgers or simple dishes like pasta, rice or salad. In my opinion, I think that buffets are a good idea if you want to eat a lot for a short amount of money, but we mustn’t abuse of it because food in these places is not healthy at all. It’s much better to buy the food yourself in a supermarket and cook it at home. So remember, stay healthy and don’t eat too much junk food.

  25. In my opinion, emojis are one of the best things that have an electronic device. With them, we can express ourselves and also we can decorate photos, texts… It’s a simple thing but it can be very useful.

We are not conscious that the importance of the no verbal dialogue. Sometimes we read a text with intonation and the other person has written this text thinking a totally different intonation with other intention. Emojis help us to express the intention of that text. It can look like a joke but we can avoid a lot of confrontation.

Also, they help us to create our own personality because each person uses a different vocabulary and different emojis and with them, we can express ourselves more similar to ours in real life.

I love using emoticons! I find it a cool and funny way to express our emotions. They make the text funnier and more remarkable.🙃
