BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

This is not life, but HELL!!!

Crowds, clocks, heat, rush hours, traffic jams... this is not life, but HELL!!! We live in a world where there is no room for solitude and time to think about life itself. How did you spend your summer? Are you looking forward to going back to the routines of the year.

Here I present you a listening exercise to do, related articles to read and a video to watch. I hope you have time to do them all and think about the issue.

  1. Our summer holidays are coming to the end and now we have to start with the routine again. It might take one or two weeks to get used to the routine.

In our holidays, we have plenty of time to go out with our friends, to go to the beach or to travel. We are more relaxed than in the time of the school year since we don't have to study every day or to do homework, which takes us much time, and we don't have to get up early in the mornings, it is very difficult!

During my summer holidays, I usually go to the beach with my friends and we spend almost all the day there, playing with a ball or swimming. However, I have had lessons of English two days a week in order to pass the B2 soon because it might be necessary to get a university degree.

To sum up, in summer we have a lot of time to do all things we want, we have time to relax and to be with friends, but also to advance work for the next school year.

  3. Summer holidays are about to end. How sad it is to return to the routine again! This summer has been one of the best summers I remember since I've done lots of funny things.

I have spent most of my summer in my swimming pool where we sunbathe, relax or play with a ball or cards. In fact, I gave two parties in it where we had a lot of fun. Another thing I've done a lot this summer is going to the beach, since we went with our Molvizar's friends who have a car and in the evening, we used to eat a kebab in Salobreña. Moreover, this summer I had my hair cut as I had it too long and my parents wanted me to have it cut.

One of the days I've enjoyed the most this summer is when my friends and I went to Playa Granada to surf as there were too many waves, although we had never tried it. I have always wanted to go surfing. If you asked me what water sport I would like to take up, I'm sure I'll probably choose surfing. The other day I enjoyed the most was when I was with muy family in Cazorla, as we used to go there every summer since I was very little and I hadn't gone for about two years. It could be said that the camping where I used to go in Cazorla takes a big part of muy childhood. I have lots of great memories there, so it was very exciting to visit it once again.

To sum up, I have done plenty of things this summer, except studying and advance work for the next school year. However, I've passed my Philosophy exam, so I can still rest for a few more days.

    1. Summer holidays finished a month ago and we've already started the school year. All those positive feelings we had about the new school year have disappeared and there are people who are already tired of bachillerato and it's only the beginning! The first day of classes you feel strange because after almost three months of holidays it is hard to restart again. However, after a week I am sure you get used to the routines again. Let's talk about my summer holidays.

These summer holidays I've been very busy. I want to pass my driving exam this year so I've been going the months of July and August to Molvízar almost everyday. In fact, Molvízar has become something like my second town, I know all streets and I talk with many people from there. Nonetheless, I haven't only been in Molvízar, all years my parents, my brother and I go to our cottage in Itrabo. There, we have a big swimming pool and we also have a big country house. That's very pleasant, because there is no noise, traffic jams, pollution,.... it's in the middle of the countryside so you can relax and think about your life calmly.

Talking about my summer holidays, the days I've enjoyed the most were in Carchuna's parties and I'm Molvízar's parties. I stayed at my friend's house during three or four days and we had much fun. Although I went to many parties, I spent most of the summer with only one friend in Itrabo. That's the main reason why not all people you speak to want to be with you in their lives. This sounds a bit sad, but I'm very happy of my summer :).

Concluding, in summer you can do all things you want and you have lot of time for them so I also want to say that I've advanced in this school year doing comments and works for my English teacher because I want to be more relaxed this school year with English.
