BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

  1. Earth Day has become a worldwide tradition.

Kathleen Rogers, president of the Earth Day organization in Washington and one of the first founders of the Earth Day organization says that one of the main reasons for choosing that April 22, 1970 as the first Earth Day because that year fell on a Wednesday, the ideal day of the week to make a demonstration for the environment.

Although the official date is April 22, many people always say that Earth Day is every day of the year, but in my view not take care of the Earth as much as people say.

In my opinion I think Earth should be more careful because if we keep doing damage to the environment ultimately end up destroying our own planet.

  7. To save the Earth, we can do many things like recycle or unplug electrical appliances.
    - If we clean up parks, they will be cleaner.
    - If we recycle and pick up the rubbish, in the future there will be less rubbish.
    - If people around the world used electric vehicles and unplugged electrical appliances, the air would be cleaner.
    - If people didn't damage the Earth the future would be better!

    1. First of all, when did Earth Day begin? It is known that Earth Day is an annual event created to celebrate the planet's environment and raise public awareness about pollution. The first Earth Day was in 1970. Senator Gaylord Nelson, after seeing the damage done by a 1969 massive oil spill in Santa Barbara, it was inspired to organize a national "teach-in" that focused on educating people about the environment.

It is an open secret that the transport is one of the main causes of pollution. Big cities like Madrid, Barcelona and Granada are places where pollution is more serious due to the huge amount of people who use their car everyday. Although governments are taking action to face this issue, it is getting more and more serious. In fact, monuments like La Alhambra are getting black due to traffic.

What can we do to try to help the enviroment? There are a lot of ways to solve this problem, and most of them are really easy, such as: turn off your tap when brushing your teeth; stop using plastic bags; use public transport or a bike instead of your car; recycle; don’t waste food; use a refillable water bottle...

To conclude, I think that we have to raise awareness and try to do something for changing these alarming problems, as it's our responsability and by the time we are old we will be able to say that we have looked after the planet.

  10. What is Earth day? Earth Day (officially International Mother Earth Day) is a day celebrated in many countries on April 22. Its promoter, US Senator Gaylord Nelson, established this day to create a common awareness of the problems of overpopulation, the production of pollution, the conservation of biodiversity and other environmental concerns to protect the Earth. It is a day to pay tribute to our planet and recognize the Earth as our home and our mother, as well as different cultures have expressed throughout history, demonstrating the interdependence between its many ecosystems and the living beings that inhabit it.
With all this is intended to create awareness among the population that is not aware of the damage it causes to the earth daily. Continually in schools the youngest is told how important it is to recycle, use public transport, save water, don´t throw garbage in green spaces ... But is this enough? Should not adults also be educated on the subject? Many times adults are much more irresponsible than young people, this may be because recycling and doing everything mentioned above may seem like something that takes up a lot of time and they prefer the comfort of doing it badly, contaminating.
From my point of view, children, youth and adults must be aware that if we continue like this we will create without a planet and unfortunately there is no other with the necessary skills to live. So we must take care of what we have because it is the only one.

  11. Today I’m going to write about the Earth day. The Earth Day is a very important annual event celebrated on April 22.
Various events are held worldwide to celebrate support for protection of the environments. Every year there are more and more people which support this event. Earth Day brings attention to a large number of issues in requirement of attention, such as pollution, climate changes, nuclear pollution and more issues that puts our world in danger. The first time that this day was celebrated was on 1970 and is celebrated nowadays in a total of 192 countries. It was celebrated by students in colleges and universities in New York City.
Finally, I want to say this day is not as important as it should be. This is the perfect occasion to concern people about the damage that we are causing to the Earth.

  12. Earth Day? What is it? Earth Day is an annual globe-spanning event which urges people to think about how their actions and presence affect the environment. It has been celebrated for 50 years. It began on April 22, 1970. These day millions of people took the streets to protest about the negative effects of 150 years of industrialisation. This year 2018, Earth Day was focused on ending plastic pollution, especially the ‘single use and throw away’ culture associated with the material. Furthermore, it has been honoured with a Google Doodle in which world famous anthropologist and animal lover Jane Goodall appears.

Who is Jane? Jane Goodall, otherwise known as Doctor Jane Goodall, who is 84 years old, is a legendary anthropologist. She is famous for her study of chimpanzee social and family life in Tanzania in the 1960s. She theorised that human aren’t the only species who have individual personalities. She even observed human behaviours including hugs and kisses on the back of chimps. Google says that Jane shares her personal message to the world on Earth Day 2018, including some of her inspiration and what we can all do to have a positive impact on our planet. Something that caught my eye was that she said that she was born loving animals and her whole childhood really was animals and animals.

In fact, what is a Google Doodle? Google Doodles were born in 1998. The search engine founders Larry and Sergey drew a stick figure behind the second ‘o’ of the name of Google as a message to they were out of office at the Burning Man festival. The company decided that they should decorate the logo to mark cultural moments and it soon became clear that users really enjoyed the change to the Google homepage. Me, personally, I prefer the doodlers which are designed to play. The doodler I enjoyed the most was the one which honoured pangolins.

All in all, I think that celebrating Earth Day is a good action. This is an opportunity to warn people about how polluted our oceans, water and wildlife are, especially because of plastic. Additionally, I reckon that more people should take part in these marches. However, we can do simple things to make a difference like stopping buying one-time-use items, reusing plastic bags, diving into second-hand shopping and natural fibres and carrying our own utentsiles and reusable water bottle, among other things.

    1. To help the earth survive, I think it is very important to save water.
You have to use fever chemicals.
We must eliminate the toxics that we detect quickly in our seas and rivers.
Keep the air clean by using more the bicycle and less the car and the motorbike.
Light should be used only as necessary.
And most important of all, we must repopulate with trees and green areas all the places of the earth, they are our natural lungs.

  14. To have a clean world, we must do e many things: do not pollute, do not throw rubbish in the water, do not contaminate the countrisides, etc.
To save the world we must meet a series of requirements, are the following:
-If we recycle and pick up the rubbish, we will have a cleaner world
-if we do not throw rubbish and plastics bags into the seas and oceans, there will be more marine life.
-If we use more public transport, we would have less pollution.
-If we use less industries and sprays, we will also pollute less.
If you want a clean world do ,it never give up .it is very important to meet these requirements

  18. Earth Day tries to make the world aware, every April 22, of the need to protect the environment and the conservation of biodiversity.

Every day should be Earth Day, but unfortunately, we easily forget problems that are becoming serious for the planet such as overpopulation, pollution and the responsible use of natural resources.

This Earth Day focuses on recycling the plastic that fills and pollutes our oceans and habitats by killing thousands of animals each day. However, Earth Day is much more than that, and there are hundreds of ways to get involved. You can help contribute to the care of the Earth, here are some simple tips:

    -Use the bicycle as transport.
-To bring life to nature by planting at least one tree.
-Do not use plastic bags and, if they have to be used, recycle them

Although perhaps the most effective advice is to make us aware that every day is Earth Day to commit ourselves to the environment and the future of humanity.

  21. Every time we are destroying the Earth with pollution ... if we want the Earth to be clean and not to destroy it, we can do many things to avoid polluting, for example:
-Do not throw garbage on the ground or the sea because when we throw garbage into the sea the fish confuse it with food and eat it and die
    - If we use electronic cars, we will not to pollute and if we use automobiles that use gas we will pollute the Earth.
-If we use fewer industries and aerosols, we will also pollute less.
In defense, we must use more renewable energy.
    -We must avoid consuming tobacco
-If there are many fires the areas where there is life can die like the plants, the animals would have to go

  22. Our planet is being destroyed, pollution is one of the factors that most influences but it is not the only one.
The deforestation, the insecticides and sufatos, and the fires are eating life on the planet.
To avoid all this we have to do:
    - Use natural fertilizers such as manure
    - Do not pour poisons or waste into the sea
    - Use the public transport
    - Do not throw glass things into the field
    - Do not throw cigarette butts to avoid causing fires
    - Reuse and recycle

If we do all these things we would benefit life on the planet.

-If we use more public transport, we will polutte less.
-if we recycled, it wouldn´t be necessary to make objects with new materials and we would pollute less.
-If we didn´t waste water, there would be more potable and clean water.
-If we don´t throw rubbish to the forest and beaches, their will be cleaner.
-If we don´t use petrol, we will have a cleaner air.
We must stop destroying the planet now, or when we want to stop it, it will be too late.

  25. I think the people has got concienzate to clean the world because if not the climate change and in parts of the world in the that not rain, in this part rain or in part in that rain, in this part not rain. The cap of Ozono is very important because has got a big hole and the ray of the sun, they can be harmful. In this moment in Spain it's raining a lot of because change climate produced that the poles melt and cold and torment arrive here or in areas of hot change in this areas make a lot of cold. The thaw is provocated to the contamination has got in the world. I think the vehicles change and it's change in electric or uses a lot of the bycicle, this change It seems they do not do anything but they really do everything.
