BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

Objectification, a top issue

Objectification of human beings is supposed to be one of the problems our society must tackle as soon as possible. We must all stand up against this problem if we want a fairer society for our children.

In the world of advertising it is not all gold that glitters.

  1. I agree. This soecity starts to be toxic for the next generation, our future sons. Around lots of things, for example, the violence to womans and girls in general. We need to stop this, for this 52 womans (7 children and 2 mans) die during this year, 2018. For this reason, we encourages womans to hate us, and we can't let pass. The best idea is stay calm with our boyfriend/girlfriend and, if you can't stay in that relationship, end it.

    1. Who do you usually go to the movies with? I usually go with my friends.
    2. There are a few interesting books in the library, but they aren't too many.
    3. The sweater is too big for you and it isn't pretty enough for your girlfriend.
    4. We were waiting for the bus when we saw the accident.
    5. We don't have to wear a uniform at the highschool.

  2. Nowadays, there are many people who fight for equality, however our society is still male chauvinist.
Male chauvinism is everywhere; for example, we can find it in song lyrics, posters and films.

Violence to womens is a really important problem. Last year, many women were killed by her boyfriend; but violence is not just about hitting or killing your partner, violence starts with insults, when your partner controls your phone or when he doesn´t let you dress as you want, among other things.

Everybody should help and we have to stop this. If you see at home, at school or in the street a case of violence, tell it; and if you are beeing abused, be brave, and search help.

In my opinion, the best way to eliminate violence to womens is teaching young people what is good and what isn´t in a relationship.

  5. Our society is becoming toxic . Objectifying women is a sign of inequality . We are living in a male chauvinist society where we think that women are below men and for that a lot of children , especially girls suffer gender violence . A lot of people and children have died every day because of aggressions of men , suicides …

Young people think they are not beautiful and they don´t feel well with about their own body because they are afraid of what others think . Television images influence in this because they show the perfect woman prototype .

I think when men change their way of seeing women society will be change .

  6. In this society there is a lot of inequality, especially between men and women, the man believes that he is above the woman and that is why he humiliates her and even hits her. Gender violence is very much finished nowadays, the man beats the woman out of jealousy, because of the way you saw her in even leaving with her friends, those men who hit are macho men who want their women to be all the day at home attending to their needs, cleaning or caring for children, men think that women only serve for that. For that to stop happening in the future we must educate our children in a different way, teaching them that men and women are equal and that none is above the other

  10. Nowadays, in our society trere are a lot of actions of a sexist society and these is a very bad problem. Today there are still cases where the man above the woman, and we must stop it.

For example, we can listen many songs which have letters where the woman is below and they treat it like a toy or a material. Another thing is the advertisement in tv, magazines, posters, a so on, where we find only a perfect woman.

The gender violence starts with insults and in many of the cases finishes with the death. This must change and we must and finish it.

In my opinión, this cases should not exist in 21st century, because is supossed that our society is changing. I think that we have to educate the childrens for eliminate this problem. And if we detected a case of gender violence we must comunicate to the policy.

  11. OBJETIFICATION AND EDUCATION

Lots of girls are staying out of the classroom because they don´t like the way they look.
Apart from bullying and other problems, classrooms are also theirs.
Some girls are thinking about going through plastic surgery and teachers believe they are too obsessed with the way they look need to be
The advertisements and the social pressure make that girls don´t like what they see by stereotypes.
The girls of today feel that they need be like the idealized image of woman.

In my opinion you have to love yourself as you are but if you feel better about yourself making those changes, do it.

  12. In a society there are many fights for the equality, although the women still suffer certain degrees of inequality. We live in a soecity where male view womens as inferior to them and this isn't true.
Every day a lot of people suffer from violence, especially womens and always it is the men who attack women either verbally or hitting them.
I think that the best way to eliminate the violence is teaching children about relationships.
We need to make this society an equal one for men, women and children.

  13. Nowadays we live in a very male chauvinist society, where men think they are above woman.
Constantly,in our lives,in the school, in the job or in the street we are showing our image.
In addition advertising objectifies women and show the "perfect woman" prototype. This creates that more and more girls don´t want to go to class because they don´t like the way they look.
Every day women suffer from gender violence or inequality.

In my opinion the best way to eliminate that is to say it loud. And people should love each other as they are.

  14. It seems to me very bad that just because they are women they have to appear on television, newspapers, half-naked newspapers only to advertise a simple colony.
I believe that this must change because each time the woman is seen more as an object has for example:
You have never asked yourself why the coca cola bottle has that shape that is because it is shaped like a woman.

    1. Who do you usually go to the movies with? I usually go with my friends.

  15. Nowadays, in our society there are many people who fight for equality between men and women because some men still think that they are above women. However, this is still macho in many aspects as in some songs that despise the woman treating her like an object and this also happens in movies, posters, advertisements …

Sexist violence is a relatively important problem because every year many women and some girls die. Violence is not considered sexist only when the woman dies, but it is also violence when she feels insulted, controlled, manipulated, unhappy....

To sum up, I think that one of the ways for this to change is that when we see a woman is suffering violence in the classroom, on the street, at work or in our own home. let's call the police fast!
In addition, I think that we must also educate the youth better so that in the future there will be not violence.

  17. Nowadays, more women die because of gender violence, either because of their boyfriend or because of a person who does not know who he is.
We would have to do something but some people do not care what happens to that person
and also it would have to see less women in ads etc ..., since it is so that the spectator does not pay attention to the product
We would have to educate young people or children that the woman is respected because she is a person like you, that she does not have to listen to you if she does not want to because she has to say not only what the man says.

  21. Still today there are many chauvinist men.

Women have always been below men. We have always been taught that women cannot carry weight. The girls were always related to the color pink. They could only play with dolls and the men were responsible for the hard work. The boys were always related to the color blue. They could only play with cars, planets etc.

Nowadays there is not much difference between these things but still the society is hard and without wanting to continue teaching as a macho.

  22. We are in a society in which we try to have equal rights for women and men, but unfortunately some men still consider women inferior to them.
In this partnership there is still abuse, harassment and violence against women. Most of the cases of gender violence are caused by jealousy. Still there are men who think that women should take care of the house and the children and not work.
Also women are very concerned about how we show ourselves because many can criticize us for being too fat or flat, also for short dresses or show your body as they can insult you or if they rape you is because you provoked them to wearing those clothes .
I believe that there are people who speak badly about you and respect yourself and make others respect you as you are because nobody in this world is perfect.

Today some girls feel embarrassed of their appearance. They have to cope with nasty comments from other girls , who believe they have good bodies and see every day the perfect bodies in the ads or movies. This causes food problems or including that girls stop eating for impossible measures. In addition, young women are considering cosmetic surgery to remove their complexes. We should accept us the way we are, but if you really want to change your body to feel better with you and the rest of the world, do it.

  28. In this society women are taught from a very young age how to dress, how to treat people, how to sit, just how they should talk. However, nobody teaches us how to defend ourselves in case of violence.
We live in a society in wich the man is above the woman and the girls must have a perfect body or nobody will want them (this is sad but true). On TV, images of male chauvinism also appear all the time and we don't realize it.
I do not like the society in which I live, but I can not do anything to change it because the years go by and people still think the same about the role of women in society.

  29. Gender-based violence is understood as any violent act or aggression, based on a situation of inequality within the framework of a system of relations of domination of men over women that has caused or may cause physical, sexual or psychological damage, including threats of such acts and coercion or arbitrary deprivation of liberty, whether they occur in the public sphere or in family or personal life.

  30. Nowadays, through social networks and on television we can see people who have a perfect body. In addition, most people are worried about their bodies and what people say about them. Is this a problem?

On the one hand, there are some people who lower their self-esteem because they think that their body is not as perfect as the one they see in networks. It is a big problem because there are people who can’t be fit as easily as others because of health problems or the constitution that each person has.

On the other hand, the number of people who take care of their physical appearance by eating healthy food and playing sports has increased. This is good up to a point, because other people are too constants and can become very dangerous, especially in young people. However, many young people are increasingly sedentary and abusing fast food, which is the biggest problems that cause obesity in young people.

In my opinion, everyone should try to be at the right weight for each person due to it is different because we are created to be different from each other. And that is what the networks should inform us, instead of showing us perfect bodies of which most of them are operated, something that they don't inform us about.

  31. They have always told us that we have to accept and love ourselves as we are but this is difficult since they only show perfect bodies on the networks, television.. Being teenagers is difficult since you are forming your personality and you are getting to know yourself so when seeing the stereotypes of society people begin to create insecurities.

By creating these insecurities, people feel bad about themselves so they start to worry about what people think of their body and that makes them have low self-esteem or even set such difficult goals by developing a disorder. It is a very complicated thing since having low self-esteem you try to adapt to what you think other people think is good and they do not notice if it is his constitution, the shape of his body or how he reacts. And the problem is not wanting to improve your body since that is not bad as long as it is done in a healthy way and wanting to see you better instead of other people doing it.

This is why the number of people who want to improve their physical appearance has increased both controlling what you eat and exercising, this up to a point is good since wanting to improve your health is your decision but if they become obsessed it can be dangerous as they may become obsessed with exercise or what they eat so they may stop eating and this is dangerous especially in young people since our body is still forming and we must take care of ourselves. On the contrary, it is also dangerous to eat in unhealthy ways or don´t do any type of physical exercise, in addition, the abuse of junk food is bad for our health and you can develop obesity and for this reason you can generate many health problems and in extreme cases death.

I think that there isn´t type of body that is correct or not correct so you have to take care of yourself and try to love your body, although we must control what we eat to avoid health problems and do some exercise since it´s healthy. We have to understand that each person is different and that is fine and the most important thing is to love ourselves, besides that perfect bodies don´t exist and all that can be editing so we don´t have to obsess with this.
