BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

  2. Nowadays, there are many schools around the world which are bilingual. This means that here, students learn many subjects in other foreign languages. The most common is English, but there are also schools where students study in German or French, but there are more. In Spain, the most of bilingual schools are in English, but, is it an advantage or a disadvantage?

On the one hand, this people obviously know more vocabulary and they can defend themselves more with the language. They have a high level of english, because they use it every day and in different aspects, I mean, they use it to talk about biology, chemistry, history…. And this is connected with have more vocabulary.

But not all is good. On the other hand, it also has disadvantages. For example, students must study lessons two turns. They first must understand it in them languages, and then, in English, because of if they dont come to understand the topic, it is more complicated. The University of Luxembourg has made a study about people who learn maths with a foreign language, and they say that they process maths because the way to calculating a problem maths depend on language.

Learning in a bilingual school has advantages and disadvantages. In my opinion, I prefer normal schools because of I always have been gone at normal schools.

  3. In Spain there are many schools that are bilingual, such as IES Nazari in Salobreña.
There are some subjects that are given in English and if people do not master it well it is very difficult to pass the subjects because if you do not understand things it is difficult to study them.

In my opinion, I would not like to teach in a bilingual school since I do not speak English very well would be very difficult for me. It is also difficult for me to learn the subjects in my language and I can not imagine in English.

People who go to these schools will have a very high level of English, they would speak it perfectly.

That is very good since English is spoken almost in almost all countries and to speak it in school you learn a lot.

  6. There are many schools around the country that are biligual, but what's this? A bilingual school is is a school where many or all the subjects are in a foreign language, for example, there are schools in Spain that teach many subjects in English, and those schools are bilingual. At first, it can sound really well, but it has many disadvantages too. First, I´m going to talk about the advantages. Obviously, people there have a higher level of English, and they know about many different topics that we can´t learn in only one subject. In that case, it is very good for students who study there, because they have an excellent level of English, but what about other subjects? Teaching all those subjects in English is very good to improve the command of this language, but it isn't so good for the subject you are teaching in English, because you have to deal with the foreing language and with the own subject, I explain, if a teacher teachs Maths, he has to teach it in English, so the students first have to understand the language, and then understand the maths, so it is a double trouble. For students who don't do so well in English it is a very big problem, because they don´t understand any subject. In my opinion, I prefer normal schools, where you only have to care about the subject you´re learning and not care at the same time about a language you don't understand.

  7. Today, most people speak more than one language, and almost everyone speaks one of the most spoken languages, like English, Spanish, Chinese or Arabic. There are also countries that have more than one official language, like Belgium, where people speaks French, Dutch and German.

In Spain, there are many schools which are bilingual. These schools teach the same subjects, but they study in other language. This language is usually English, but it can be Also French or German. People who study in these schools have a great level in the language they're studying, but bilingual schools aren't for all people. People who don't understand the language they study find very hard to understand some subjects.

In my opinion, I think bilingual schools are a good option for people who speaks the language taught in this school because they will understand the contents, but if you dont dominate the language taught, you will be in trouble because you won't understand anything and you will find it very hard to study.

  8. Bilingualism is a difficult thing. I like speaking two or three different languages but it is difficult if you don't learn it when you are a child or if they are not the same than Spanish. You can learn English or French at school for years but it is not the same. It is possible be bilingual but you should try and study very hard! Bilingualism is great because it can help you to find a job easily and you don't need a translator!

  9. Nowadays , most people in the world speak more than one language and there are many schools which are bilingual . It is so important to speak several languages ? , this means that the human brain has evolved greatly?

Around the world , more than half of the people speak at least two languages and many countries have more than one official national language . For example , South Africa has 11 . So , people have to learn all these languages at school . Moreover , multilingualism has been shown to have many social , psychological and lifestyle advantages and experts have found health benefits too .

In Spain , most schools have English as a second language but some schools also have French or German . Have you thought what would happen if people spoke in only one language ? . There would probably be little communication between us and we couldn´t travel to other places .

I think languages are so important to have a good future and also to interact with other people

  11. Now there are many schools that are bilingual, a bilingual school is a school in which most of the subjects are taught in a foreign language. In Salobreña there are two secondary schools but only 1 is bilingual. At that school the classes are taught in English and the exams are in English. On the one hand, a bilingual school is good because you get a very good level of English because apart from the subject of English, you learn biology in English, music, mathematics ... that is if all teachers have to have at least The B2 to be able to teach in English The bad thing is that the teachers do not focus on teaching the subject thoroughly, they focus more on explaining it in English or in another language. I really prefer to go to a school that is not bilingual.

  12. Many tourists come to Spain every year, so it is important for the people to speak one or two foreign languages. All of the schools in this country teach English and French, but our subjects are in Spanish. Every day, there are more schools that are teaching the subjects in English and Spanish, as Maths or History, and it is interesting because you can learn a lot studying in another language. Bilingual people can communicate easy with a lot of people and speak other language can help you get a job or travel to other countries. In Molvízar, there aren't bilingual schools but in Salobreña there is one high school, Nazari, that is bilingual. It can be difficult to some teachers to teach in other language, but, if you want to finish university, you have to have a B1 in English or French. Bilingualism can be bad too because it is difficult to explain subjects in a language that you don't know too good.

  13. The bilingual person is the one who dominates two languages perfectly.
To be bilingual it is not necessary to go to a bilingual school or to private classes in English, French or German.
There are schools that, although they are not bilingual, their teachers teach you to master one or several languages.
Biliguism is only achieved with effort, although the best way is to learn two languages since we are born.
If your parents speak to you in two different languages since childhood, this helps you learn naturally.
Bilingualism has many benefits in people, as an example, it improves brain functioning, it helps us to relate to more people, it makes Alzheimer's disease come later.
It also makes it easier to find work, helps us learn from other cultures, helps us to understand better, and increases the ability to listen.

  15. Nowadays, most people in the world speak more than one language and even some of them are bilingual or multilingual, depending on how many languages you speak. Being bilingual or speaking more than one language has many social, psychological and lifestyle advantages.

One the one hand, many studies have found that being bilingual has positive effects on the brain, because a bilingual person is constantly switching from one language to the other, it keeps our brain active and it can also reduce the risk of a stroke. Besides, bilingualism seems to protect against dementia.
On the other hand, being bilingual gives us more posibilities to find a job in the future because languages are very valued in lots of companies which work with other international companies around the world. Moreover, speaking more than one language is very useful when we travel. Being able to comunicate with people when we visit another country gives us the opportunity to meet new people and learn about their hobbies or their culture.

In my opinion, speaking more than one language has lots of health and employment benefits. Bilingualism keeps us mentally fit, it makes us more open-minded and it gives us a better chance on getting a job. So, no matter how old we are, it is never too late to learn another language!

  16. Bilingualism is something that is already in many schools, the language is usually English and this is very useful for students who can reach a higher level and much wider vocabulary and they also learn other languages.

Bilingualism is good for all the previous things that I have explained but it is also bad for people who have more difficulties in understanding because if they do not understand it in their language, it will be worse in a foreign language ,that is much more difficult.

I hope I won´t have to be in a bilingual school because I think I would not be able to pass the subjects if it was in English, for me it would be impossible.

  17. Nowadays, languages are very important, therefore, there are many schools around the world which are bilingual. The most common language in Spanish schools is English but in others there are more options like French, German or Chinese. These schools are good for people who are good at languages, but there are other people who have a harder time passing the subjects because they have to understand it first in their language and then study it in the other.

However, many people in the world are bilingual or multilingual, that is, they speak more than one language. What do you think this has more advantages or disadvantages?

On the one hand, multilingualism has many social, psychological and lifestyle advantages. In addition, researchers are finding a lot of health benefits such as faster recovery from stroke and late onset of dementia. Besides, if you speak more than one language, you will have a better chance of finding a good job.

On the other hand, a new study has found that people who speak more than one language fluently will process mathematics differently when they change languages. Besides, some experts say that children studying in a bilingual center may not reach a sufficient level in either language.

To sum up, I think that studying more than one language has advantages for some people and disadvantages for others. Therefore, it must be the choice of each child to study in a bilingual school than in a normal one like me.

  18. Nowdays, languages are very important, therefore, there are many schools around the world which are bilingual.

In the world the most talk languages are the chinese, spanish, english, french... in this order, but for strange reason the languages that more requires when you go to search work is the english in addition to whether you're in Spain is the spanish, and this pass in the majority of the countries, but for example if you go to England here don't requiere other language to search work, you any need the english and I think that this isn't there, because similar that the majority you must to save other language in England I think that must to save other Language in addition.

However, many people in the world are bilingual or multilingual, for example in Spain the majority of the news students now are multilingual, because the save spanish, english and french. In Spain thschools obligate that you must to learn english in addition spanish, and then as optative if you want stay the french, but obligatory in addition spanish is the english.

I think that are good that the new generations must to save more languages as the native, because nowdays if you don't search work in your country you must to go to other different, althought now for example in Spain if you want to work, you must to save english and heve some title.

  19. Nowadays, more and more people in the world speak more than one language. A lot of people think that being bilingual could have an enormous variety of benefits.

On the one hand, people who speak more than one language think differently. Sometimes their brains work in multiple tongues and they generally find it easier to learn different languages than other people. In addition, experts have found some health benefits such as delayed onset of dementia.

On the other hand, languages have changed over time and they have been used since ancient times. They used them to communicate with other people, for business or travels. Currently, scientists say that people who speak several languages are developing a high ability to solve math problems.

To sum up, learning languages have a lot of benefits for people who speak them. In my opinion, languages are very important to communicate with people from anywhere in the world.

  20. I think that bilingual schools are not as good as some people think, I think they have their good things and their bad things. The advantages are that most people would learn much more English and would be much more prepared to travel, but I think which has more disadvantages than advantages, because a student who does not have good English can fail all the subjects for only one and I think it would not be fair because not knowing English that they have all left is not fair, that's why I think that non-bilingual schools are better because I think that without being bilingual, if things are done well, they can still know a lot of English.

  22. Liverpool FC is one of the best football temas in the world, it also has 6 Champions League one of them won in 2019 vs Tottenham 2-0. Its firstly kit is red and the second one is black, in my opinión red is better. The player who I think is the best in Liverpool FC is Mohamed Salah, he is 29, and he is egyptian. He has played for Basilea, Chelsea CF, Fiorentina, AS Roma and now playing for Liverpool FC. He scored the first goal in the Champions League final.

The second one I think is one of the best is Sadio Mané, he plays like a striker. He is 29 and he is senegalese. He caused the penalty play in the 2019 final. He is leftfooter and he has scored 79 goals, all of them in Liverpool.

The think I most like it's the anthem: "You'll never walk alone". When Liverpool FC has a very important match the fans come together to sing it and cheer on the team.

Bilingual schools are more difficult than normal ones, but in the first one the students can learn English very well and they can have the B1 earlier.
I don't want to go a bilingual schools because I can't speak english very well because I haven't been to one to these school, moreover I can't imagine having subjects in English like biology or maths.
To conclude, bilingual school are good for students that start to study now, but for me that I started to study the secondary school in 2021 is very difficult.
