BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

Better as a team!!!

"Better as a team", said Nadal.  He was really proud of having participated and won the Davis Cup last weekend, and emphasized the fact he felt even better because the victory came from a team. Tennis is an individual sport and he is used to fighting, winning and losing on his own, so he has come to the conclusion that nothing beats a victory when it is achieved as a team.

Talking about tackling problems, today was...

International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women

and again the solution doesn't come from an individual action, but from the actions carried out by a whole society.

  5. It is a great pleasure for me to be part of the great team of students that form the IES Mediterráneo.

In the picture you can see how a large number of students made an important team in the playground, all united to celebrate the International Day for the elimination of violence against women.

We must educate from children in equality, to eliminate any type of violence.
During the last two years, women have been protected, but not enough, as there are still deaths and problems such as female genital mutilation in many countries and child marriage.

In conclusion, it is necessary to continue helping women victims of violence, until the statistics reach zero deaths, zero abuses.

  6. In my institute, IES Mediterráneo of Salobreña has used little of our time to honor the poor victims of gender violence. In the third hour, all the students went out to the schoolyard with purple and black balloons for the mourning of these women and together we formed a bond and some students read a story about gender violence.
This problem, instead of radicalizing it, is getting worse and worse, among all we have to solve it so that no woman suffers gender violence and no woman ends up dead, raped or hurt. No means NO.

  10. Nowdays we live in one society in that unfortunelly there are a lot of women's victims because they are dead, becaus their husband, ex husband... are who they have been killer, then a lot of they mans they have killed themselves, but if they go then to killed themselves why they have been killed this womans? why they don't have killed themselves directly?,but nor they must first killed this womans.

I think the society has backed off in the time an there are a lot of people who want that the office of the womans are to do the things of the house and anymore, but NO because the womans are very intelligent and every time there are more womans that are more stronger of the mans and that can do perfectly this works that the people says that it of the mans, because this work need to for a good physical and force to realize, and of couse there are a lot of womans who arrived to work position very up, and I think that if there aren't more womans with this positions it because there are a one part of the society that does not consent.

I think that penal sentences of the mans that they have killed womans or attacked, violated... must to are of the penalties for which they do not get out of jail again, and of the mans who have killed I think that for this cases must to exct the penal of died.

In resume I think that if there are one case of violation, attacked or dead of one woman, the penal sentences must to are more big and in the cases of that one man have killed one woman I think that must to exict for this cases the penal of died, I think that if this penal exict more of one man can think if he go to killed a one woman.

  12. Violence against women (VAW), also known as gender-based violence and sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), are violent acts where the victims are primarily or exclusively women or girls. Such violence is often considered a form of hate crime, committed against women or girls specifically because they are female, and can take many forms.

To begin with, violence against women and girls is a problem of pandemic proportions. At least, one out of every three women around the world has been beaten, coerced into sex, or otherwise abused in her lifetime with the abuser usually someone known to her. There are different types of women abuse, such us, violence occurring in the family or domestic unit, physical and mental aggression, emotional and psychological abuse, rape and sexual abuse, crimes committed in the name of honour, female genital and sexual mutilation and other traditional practices harmful to women, such as forced marriages; sexual harassment and intimidation at work and violation of the human rights of women in situations of armed conflict.

Secondly, the best way to end violence against women and girls is to prevent it from happening. Prevention should start early in life, by educating and working with young boys and girls promoting respectful relationships and gender equality. The United Nations has assigned 25th November as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. One of the aims of the day is to highlight that the scale and true nature of the issue is often hidden.

In conclusion, violence against women and girls is an unacceptable violation of basic human rights. It is also so widespread that ending it must be a global public health priority.

  13. In my secondary school, every year we do something to remember all the victims of violence against women, and this year, during the third period we left our classrooms and went to the playground, where we organized a demostration with the shape of a loop and we listened to some partners that read some women´s stories.
Nowadays there are a lot of people setting up protests for this reason, but also there are people that think and say that the violence against the women don´t exist, and in my opinion they are denying the number of victims of this type of violence that the government says.
And also there are men that say that people are always talking about the violence against women and never talk about the violence against men and I agree with them, but when you see the statistics and you compare the number of women and of men, you see that it is a big difference between the number of woman killed and the men killed.
In my opinion not only this type of violence has to disappear, but also all types of violence
    have to dissapear.

  14. Nowadays, we live in a century of changes. Fortunately we have something called freedom of expression, which allows us to say what we think, without being scared if it goes against what the most people say. One of the movements that have grown a lot in these years is feminism, a move that wants women and men to be equals.
I think that in the past, the human has been male chauvinist. Most of the important kings or warriors, or even scientists in history are men. Usually in History Books we see names like Cristobal Colon, Albert Einstein, Carlos III... But did they all the work alone? No one helped them? There wasn´t any woman supporting them or helping them to reach their goals? Of course there were, but just for being womans, they were treated like humans beings of a lower rank.
It´s time to change this, though. Men and womans have the same rights and duties, all of us should have the same opportunities when we want to find a job or when we want to reach a dream.
And talking about genre violence, I think it´s unbeliable that just for being a woman, his boyfriend or maybe his husband thinks that she belongs to him. As a man doesn´t belong to anyone but himself, a woman doesn´t belong to anyone either, just to herself.

  18. Gender violence is an issue that is trying to eliminate, above all, gender violence against women that still exists but less than before. Women are trying to achieve equality between themselves and men, they don't want to be superior, they just want to be equal.

This topic is being taught to children encouraging them to end this violence towards women and to be physical or psychic, which in the future we hope there will be less until these deaths, rapes and abuse towards women end.

In my secondary school IES Mediterraneo on 25th November , which is the international day of gender violence an hour before the break, we went out to the patio and handed a black or purple balloon to each student and made a loop. Then some students read out loud some texts and then we kept silence for a minute for all victims killed by violence.

We must end this and avoid so many deaths and this is achieved only by working as a team as there are more voices that speak, defend and help because the more they join together the better and will be heard better more than a single voice.

  19. Nowadays we live in a society that is constantly changing but gender violence is a problem that remains, the number of women who suffer gender violence is huge. One of three woman experience physical, psychological or sexual violence. One of the movements that have grown a lot in these years is feminism, a move that wants women and men to be equals. In 2019 fifty-five women have been killed by their partners or ex-partners in Spain, that is normal?

This issue should be addressed in schools, institutes since we must teach from an early age that it cannot be done. If I had power and could formulate the law, I would make a law against gender violence but with much harder sentences than normally established. I think that a rapist, abuser or murderer must be treated as he has treated.

Many of the events that occur are produced by couples or ex-partners but in other cases rapes, abuse or murders are produced by a person who knows nothing, that is to say by a murderer or a disgusting person. There are many types of violence such as street harassment, forced marriage, forced sexual acts, physical or psychological abuse and everyone gets the same disgust.

I think that people who do this type of barbarity should be condemned more harshly and treated as what they are, in my opinion we have to be aware and educate children since they were little so that they don't even think of becoming such a social waste.
To sum up I think that no woman should be afraid to go out alone or return alone, none deserve that.

  20. Nowadays, the number of women who suffer gender violence is increasing. One in three women and girls experience physical or sexual violence in their lives. The problem is that these women usually do not feel safe to ask for help because of many factors.

On the one hand, violence against women is generally caused by someone in their environment as their partner, but in other cases there are abuses, violations or even deaths by men who do not know her at all. Therefore, there are many types of violence such as street harassment, forced marriage, forced sexual acts, physical or psychological abuse, slavery ...

On the other hand, to solve this great problem that prevents achieving equality, peace, development and the fulfillment of the human rights of women and girls. Many people think that one of the biggest problems is that the sentence should be extended or even men who commit this great crime should be killed. In addition, they think that children should be better educated in school and at home since they are young.

To sum up, women must both be free and have the same rights as men. I hope that in the near future this problem has been solved because I think women should not live in fear.

  21. Teamwork is the work done by a group of people to complete a project. The tasks are divided according to the abilities of each one.
    Teamwork is more effective because:
Ideas are shared, solutions are provided, information is offered and do it is easier.
It is a way of organizing work because we exchange information, we have more solutions to problems and the result is better.
The more people are involved in carrying out an activity, the more and better the results obtained.
Teamwork is something positive, an interaction between everyone is achieved.
    Examples of teamwork:
Firefighters, football team, employees of a circus, classmates doing a project for school, friends organizing a surprise party, doctors operating on a patient, etc.
Conclusion: teamwork divides the work and multiplies the results.
I think it’s better if you do the things in the team than if you do the things alone. I enjoy doing teamworks with my friends.

  22. Gender violence seriously affects women. It is not only violence when a woman is beaten, but also when she is insulted, threatened, deprived of liberty, blackmailed.
Nothing justifies gender violence. The woman who suffers from it should never feel guilty for the mistreatment she receives. The first thing a woman who suffers violence or is in danger of suffering it should do is ask for help and report it.
Although gender violence is the mistreatment that one sex exerts towards the other, it occurs much more from man to woman.
I don't understand how some men kill their own children so that their women suffer and how they kill their women and take their own lives. I think those minds are not right. They believe that they are the ones who have to command and dominate the woman (as it was in the past).
The most unfortunate thing about this is that it does not end. Only in Spain in the month of January there were 7 dead women and there are many women who live in fear.
This must end now. Stop it! No more gender violence!
