BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

  1. This term we are reading Rabbit Proof Fence. This book is about three aboriginal girls with European fathers. These girls are separated from their parents and their home because the government wanted them to receive an education. The three girls weren't comfortable there, so they escaped from there and they went home.

They story happened in Australia. Australia is one of the biggest countries in the world. It has many unique animals like kangaroos and koalas. By reading these articles I've learned some things about this country, for example, the fact that 90 percent of the Australians live near the coast, and 30 percent were born in another country. It has also some of the most poisoning snakes and is the country where you can find the biggest rock in the world.

In my opinion Rabbit Proof Fence is a very interesting book because is based on a real story. At the end of the story the book tells you what happened with the three girls and their town.

Changing terms, as you asked, I will recommend two songs that I like by a Turkish group called maNga:
    - We could be the same
    - Fly to stay alive

  6. Australia is the smallest continent and one of the largest countries on Earth, it’s located between the Pacific and Indian oceans. Australia’s capital is Canberra, located in the southeast between the larger and more important economic and cultural centers of Sydney and Melbourne.

In this country, there are many amazing places you can visit. Some are natural and some are human-made. One of my favorite natural places is the Great Barrier Reef. It’s an amazing place which has lots of corals and its ocean wildlife is amazing. Nowadays climate change is affecting every natural space including Australia’s Coral Barrier Reef. People is hunting all wildlife there to sell products or to use them in gastronomy. Sea contamination is other very important factor to take care of because lots of corals and animals are dying because of the human activity. This makes the corals lose their colors and turn grey and white.

Other amazing place is The Sydney Opera House. It’s a multi-venue performing arts center located in Sydney. The building comprises multiple performance venues, which together host well over 1,500 performances annually, attended by more than 1.2 million people. The outside looking is amazing because it looks like a giant white rose. This place is surrounded with water except from one place that’s where people go into it to watch all the performances.

In fact, Australia is a place I’ll definitely go because I think it’s places and wildlife is amazing. I’ll love to visit it someday with my family or with my friends and see every place and travel all around the country and try new things and learn new cultures that I’ve never new before.

  7. Australia is a fascinating country with unique wildlife and diverse landscapes. From the big deserts of the inside to the impresionate beaches of the Gold Coast, Australia has something for everyone. The Great Barrier Reef is a natural wonder that is home to thousands of species of marine life, while the iconic Sydney Opera House is a must a see attraction. With a rich cultural history and a laid back way of life, Australia is a country that is definitely you should exploring.
