BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

  1. Books are a great way to keep you from getting bored. But this depends on each person, there are people who love to read, others not so much and others hate reading.

I also think it depends on the book. There are books that capture more interest, and others less interesting. For example, I usually like some types of books, but the ones I like the most are adventures and powers, fantasies, such as Harry Potter or a trilogy that I read to myself that was Chronicles of the Tower by Laura Gallego Garcia, a current writer, Spanish. I also like teen books like the After saga which are 5 books very read, especially by young people. The first book was published in 2013 and two years ago they released a movie. And I also like books of love, mystery and terror.

There are different types and each one likes a series of books and others another, but you also have to respect the tastes of people because they sometimes laugh at the books you read and you have to understand that we are all different and each one attracts us various things that may coincide with others but may also not coincide.

I think reading books is very good because that way you learn more things, more words, expand your vocabulary and become smarter. The more you read the more knowledge we acquire and the smarter we become.

Nowadays it is very easy to search for any book since we have access to the municipal libraries, and we can also search them on the internet since technology has advanced and it is easier to read than before. I prefer to buy it since it is more comfortable from my point of view and thus it does not affect our sight since being so much on the phone damages our eyes.

  3. Nowadays, there are many ways to escape from reality. Many people have to do it, because they want to do something different from their jobs or from what surrounds them. It is something necessary in some situations, to avoid stress for example.

For instance, we have mobile phones with which we can look up many things. We can surf the internet with them, or look at social networks. However, this could affect us too. Furthermore, we have television sets where we can watch series or movies. This choice is fiction, so, it can help us. During the quarantine, many people have had to do these things to think about other things that aren't connected with the virus or about home confinement.

In addition, reading a book is another alternative. Lots of people do not read books because they are lazy and prefer to watch the movie. Nevertheless, in most cases, reading the story is better. It is true that if you have not found the right book for you and it does not hook you from the beginning, it is difficult for you to like it and read in general.

In my opinion, I prefer reading a book than watching the film. But, it is true that I also like reading the story and then watch it on the screen. I think that if someone says that he doesn’t like reading is because he hasn’t found the perfect book for him

I think reading books is very good because that way you learn more things, more words, expand your vocabulary and become smarter.

I also think it depends on the book. I love reading but only when the book is interesting. The book that I like the most are fantasy books and mystery ones. My favorite book is called “The endless story”. This book talks about a boy that finds a book and when he opens it, he appeared in it. It’s a really interesting book and I recommend it to everyone. I also love reading Sherlock Holmes’ books because I think they’re amazing and full of excitement.

Most of the people nowadays prefer being with their mobile phones than reading a book; specially teens and young people. I’m a person who loves reading, and I think it’s great, because when you read a book, everything is possible, but’s also true that I loved much more reading then, than now. Nowadays I prefer doing other things like doing sport and playing tennis. I also sometimes read because I like it and it helps me to be calmer, but nevertheless, I think that mobile phones create addiction and makes me being nervous.

In fact; I think that reading a book it’s much better than wasting time with your mobile phone, but there’s people that don’t think the same and I think it’s ok. Everybody is different from each other’s and I think is good to have different opinions about different things.

  6. Books are for reading; you learn a lot, reading; you learn culture, it entertains you, you learn ortography ... There are many types of books: scientific, literature, biography, youth, mystery, textbooks ...
April 23 is the day of the book, it is celebrated to encourage reading. The first books were written by hand, later the printing press increased the creation of books.
Reading is not my hobby, I usually read the books that are sent to me at the secondary school. My favorite books are mystery books. I would like to have the hobby of reading books because reading is important.

  7. Nowadays, reading has become a great routine for many people since some of us to relax or disconnect a little because we usually practice sports while other people decide to read.
From my point of view, I think it is a very beautiful task and that it helps us to do many things, such as writing better, reading better and better, even learning things we don't know.

I have practically always liked to read especially books related to crimes, investigations, etc.

From my point of view it is a task that can be used a lot and I recommend it since I have learned a lot thanks to these books.

  8. I hated read until two months ago when my friend recommended me a book that she had read, so I start to read it and I discovered that read helps me to escape of think, and that was fantastic! However, I hate read obligatory, because I don´t enjoy the book.

Always when I was so stressed I played the saxophone but there was sometimes that maybe it was too late to play or maybe I hadn’t the instrument near to me, so I tried to read when I couldn’t play. Now, I read each time when I was stressed or angry. I commented this to my friend and I was surprised when they told me that they wrote when they were unwell. Also, I tried to write but I can’t think when I am angry so this doesn´t help me.

Maybe in a future, I can help my friends to relax them!

  9. Books play a significant role in our life. They say that “When you open a book, you open a new world”. I believe that everyone would agree with this statement as books have become inevitable to our world. For the majority of people, books are part of their everyday life. A book is like a best friend who will never walk away from you.

Books are filled with knowledge, pieces of advice to have a happy life, life lessons, love, fear, and much more. One can read about anything under the sun. Books have been here for centuries and without them today’s knowledge of our past ancestors, cultures and civilizations would have been impossible. Other reasons why I consider that reading is important are the reduce of stress and the entertaining of yourself.

A book communicates knowledge, and not only knowledge but wisdom of all kinds. They say that “The more you read, the more well-read you are”. In simple terms what this means is that the more you read the more exposed you are, your attitudes, your ideas and your imagination changes. I believe that my personality, behavior, ideas and knowledge are all built on the books I have read. Nothing can add to our intellect more than reading a book.

In my opinion reading is the perfect hobby and I am sure that a lot of people would agree because you feel calm and intricated while reading a good book. There are a lot of wonderful reasons why reading is important.

  11. I don't like all books. I hate the books when the book are very bored and very large as the adventure books because these books have got a bored scenes. Some books are good, but I've seen a lot of bad books. The good books are very interesting, because it describes the perfect scene and it surprise you. Sometimes there are films of the books, I've read the book, and then I've seen the film, the film is different to the book. Everybody should read more books, because the culture is well for a country.
