Are you sure? No, but they say it could have been due to a frog. When we are not sure of something, we speculate and if it is of something in the past we have to use the Perfect Infinitive.

Have you heard about Alexei Navalny? It’s crazy. The news says he could have been poisoned with dart frog toxin.
ResponderEliminarI think it's wild how we use the Perfect Infinitive to talk about things we aren't sure of in the past. Some experts say the poison must have been lab-made because it’s not common. Even if we don’t know the full story, these expressions help us speculate. What do you think happened?

Hey friend,
ResponderEliminarhave you ever listened about Young People’s Forest? It’s a campaing that is planing to establish a new forest in Derbyshire in the Midlans of England. They will plant over 250.000 trees. It will also add ponds, wetlands and grasslands to recreate different natural habitats. This will ensure that all kinds of local wildlife have a new home.
They are looking for volunteers to help with designing the space and planting trees if you are interested.
A: Do you think Young People’s Forest in Debyshire is a good idea? Give me reasons to support your answer.
ResponderEliminarB: From my point of view, yes, because this will ensure that all kinds of local wildlife have a new home, and they will recreate different natural abitats for the animals.
A: Are there any green spaces in your local area? What kind of spaces are they?
B: Yes, there are, for example there is a normal forest with lots of trees, a mountain were people usually go hiking, and more!
A: Last question, is there anywhere in your area that could become a new forest?
B: No, because, my village it’s to small and the place that have a space for this it’s a propiety from someone and it cannot bea new forest.
In my opinion, the most danerous natural disaster is the earthquake, beacuse this have caused millions of destructions in many cities. The most dangerous was in 1960, in Valdivia, Chile. This caused the death of like 6000 persons and it destruyed lots of cities near here. The rate of this earthquake was 9.5, knowing the highest is 10, this was one of the worst natural disaster that happened in the world and I hope this doesn’t happend again. The second one from my point of view is the hurricane. The most danerous one was in 1970, in Banladesh. This storm caused many destructions in the cities of here. It long was like 2000 kilometers long, the longest hurricane ever.
