BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

Your comment can be about how to make it after watching the video or telling me about an easy recipe you know. Remember to use the PASSIVE VOICE.

Here you've got the link to other video and to this other video + an activity you can do.

Bon appetit!

  1. The truth is I don't like cooking but I think I could say an easy recipe as well as how to boil an egg.

First we should break carefully the egg, afterward that the fire was been prepared, the egg is emptied on the skillet, we must wait 5-10 minutes to eat it, but firstly the egg should be placed on the dinner plate. It's easy, If I can do it you too.

Definitely, the kitchen are not my site.

  2. To be honest, I hate cooking because when I'm hungry I want to eat and I don't want to wait until food has been prepared. But I know some easy recipe like “watermelon juice” that is very easy and perfect to summer.
Firstly, we should take the watermelon and we cut a piece, when the piece of watermelon has been cut we put it in a blender. Secondly, we should add a bit of lemon juice and two spoonfuls of sugar – you can add more or less sugar if you think that it is necessary- while the piece of watermelon is being beaten. And… “voilà” it is ready to drink.

  3. I'd rather I have my food cooked, but when I grow up, I will have to learn to do it. Although I know doing some plates, such as pizzas or spaguettis, but I would need to learn another kind of food.
However, I'm going to show you how to do "Crepes". Firstly you'll have to know which are its ingredients:
    125 g flour
    2 eggs
    1/4 l of milk
    50 g of butter
1 teaspoon of butter to grease the pan
    5 g of sugar
    a bit of salt

    How to prepare:

Firstly, to melt the butter, it should be entered in the microwave for 30-40 seconds.

Secondly, the milk, butter and eggs should be placed in a jug. Add flour, sugar and salt. Grind the ingredients and passes the mixture through a strainer to remove up any lumps that may have.

Thridly, with a brush, the bottom of a nonstick pan with a teaspoon of butter should be dipped and warmed it over medium heat. Pour some of the dough, spread it well, and when it begins to set, flip it. Cook briefly and remove it to a plate.

Then you can serve the "crepe" with whatever ingredient, such as chococalete, or ham and cheese.

  4. As well as my classmates, I hate cooking, because I´m a mess in the kitchen and everything that I prepare usually goes wrong. Normally, in my house food is prepared by my mum, but when she worked or she can't do it I have to cook my own food. It is necessary that I learn to cook because the next year I will go to Granada, and here I will be alone. I know cooking some plates, for example: tuna pie.

    Ingredients:
    500 g of bread dough.
    1 garlic.
    1 medium onion.
    1 green pepper.
    1 red pepper.
    500 g of natural tuna.
400 g of naturally crushed tomatoes.
    Salt.
    Olive oil.

    How to prepare:

Firstly, the onion, the peppers and the garlic should be cut and then should be put them into the pan with the olive oil. When everything is fried, add the tomato and let cook, stirring occasionally, until it is well thick.

Secondly, add the natura tuna (without liquid) and the salt. Stir well and away from the fire.

Thirdly, the dough should be maked (use 250 of water, salt, oil and half of yeast). Knead dough until it is very thin and add the filling and cover it with another layer of dough very thin too. Finally bake the pie at 170 ° C for about 40 minutes or until it is golden.

This dish can be eaten hot or cold, but I prefer the cold pie.

  5. Actually, I’m not good at cooking. I don’t usually cook, but if I ever do it is to make me a light dinner. But yesterday I wanted a chocolate cake and with the help of my cousin, I did it. But as I have said, I cannot cook, so I bought one envelope with the prepared of the cake, I added milk and put it in the fridge and ... finish! It was delicious and I don’t waste neither time nor money. I can also do other cakes like cheesecake, in which cottage cheese is mixed with cream, milk and yeast; or three chocolates cake, in which white chocolate is melted and cooled, as well as the black chocolate and milk chocolate.
However, I cannot do stew or paella or anything like that, so next year I will eat my mother's tupperwares and salads, that it is all I know how to cook.

  6. I really love cooking, and I think I`m very good at it. I make dinner every day, but when my parents are not at home on the weekends, I make lunch too. I can make an omelette, chips, fried egg, breaded steak ... and many other meals. On holidays, I like to make a chocolate cake in the microwave. Every Saturday night I make a pizza and I can even make the dough, and my family love it. However, my "star dish" is chicken with onion,a recipe from my grandmother, and it is delicious!
Next year I hope to go to University, and I want my grandmother to taught me to make a Spanish chickpea stew and lentil stew. I want my other grandmother, who lives in La Alpujarra, to teach me how to make her original "migas" (breadcrumbs), a typical Andalusian dish.
I'm sure my grandmothers are the best chefs in the world!

  7. I am not very good at cooking. Although I do not participate much in the kitchen at home, I sometimes help, but not often. When I was little I liked cooking. Now I cook some dishes like the French omelette, a fried egg and a little more. A few years ago when I was little and it was Easter, I liked to help my grandmother and my mommy make the coconut cookies , the donuts and donuts.
When I stay alone, I prepare breakfast, and at lunch I prepare something as fast as for dinner.
