BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

ONE-HIT WONDERS

We don't want our students to be one-hit wonders, but to succeed in life and their future careers (professional lives). However, do you know what a "one-hit wonder" is? Think about it for a minute.

Well a one-hit wonder is a singer or a group who had a big hit in music, but that is all we can remember of them. For instance, can you remember this song? and do you know any more songs by this singer?

Here are some activities for you to do:

Newsreview:   Women working more, men working less (BBC Learning English)

It is said that since the pandemic women have been working much more. Is it true? Women are not certainly one-hit wonders!!!
