BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

You gotta be...

School has just started and a new school year is well ahead full of difficulties, exams, bad moments... but also good moments. Anyway, "you gotta be hard, you gotta be tough, you gotta be stronger..." than ever before (I advise you to listen to the song by Des'ree and have a look at the lyrics). My students in 1º ESO will have to look for adjectives related with PERSONALITY.

.... And now search for two mistakes. If you watch this other video, you will find the answer!!!

Nevertheless, as I have just said, there are good moments to
come, actually very good moments and one of these could be our VIII Study trip to the British-Irish Isles. After our zero meeting in May we will be having our first meeting on Thursday during the break in the language department. You are welcome to come just to inform you about the activity and if you are interested in participating, here's the link to the form.

This is the form you have to fill in if you are interested:

FORM TO FILL IN IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE

Remember we decided to go to Cambridge and you'd better have a look at this post where there are some useful information about the destination and the activities we could do.

OUR ZERO MEETING!!!!

Next Wednesday, 8th May, 2019 in the language department, we will be having a meeting to talk about what the students thought of our experience in York 2019 and to give information about the possibility of organising our VIII Study trip to the British-Irish Isles. Our destination would be CAMBRIDGE/LONDON.

The teachers organising the activity are:

Mª Luisa, José Luis & Alberto.

The group that has just participated on our VII Study trip to the British-Irish Isles (York 2019) has decided that next year they want to go to Cambridge/London.

CAMBRIDGE

Long, long time ago in january 1982, when the Football World Cup was going to be held for the first time ever in Spain during the summer, your teacher went to Cambridge as a young university student. Now, 30 years later something incredible may be about to happen.

What do you know about Cambridge? Tell me what you know, search for information or articles about this university city, send me any photos or videos you find about it. By the way, do you happen to know the origin of the toponym CAMBRIDGE?

Here are some pieces of news related to this city:
