BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

Good time to take stock of the situation!!

Now that the year is coming to an end it is the perfect time to take stock of the situation, that is to say, to see all the things we have done this year, both achievements and failures or even things that could be improved. This way we will be able to make a progress in our lives and we will become more mature if we are conscious of our realities.

That is what I always think about myself, and what I ask my sons and students to do at the of the year, but especially at the end of the school year in June.

Listen to this song and have a look at the lyrics   >>>   Nelly Furtado- All Good Things Come To An End with lyrics on screen

So you can write your comments answering basically these three questions:

  • What have you achieved this year? What did you do well this year?

  • Where did you fail? Talk about your failures or things you didn't manage to carry out.

  • Finally, there certain aspects you did well, but that you feel you could have done better.

  2. We have almost finished the year and we will start a new one and I hope it will be better.
This year passed very quickly and I have met many new people and I have improved some friendships I had had kept aside.

I don't really focus so much on studies and I started a little badly this school year, especially in English. But a new year will start with new goals and I hope that with more maturity and efforts than last year. This year I have learned many things, I have been discouraged, I have had good times and bad times, I have had more fun and I have realized who is really worth it.

This year I hope to be more mature, focus more on my studies since this will be what will decide my future and have the clearest things and not let myself be influenced by other people.

  3. The year has passed and I can only thank all the people I want for making me happy although I hope this year improves a little more. The only thing I hope is to be happy this year, do not leave my life people I love and that at the end of the year there is no gap in more at the table.

This year I have realized many things I've noticed who always stays with me, that nothing is forever, that the person who least expects it is the one that fails you and and that in order not to disappoint you, it is better to get worse.

Last year I didn't pay much attention to studies since I was more attentive to other things that didn't really matter so much. Last year I didn´t make an effort in the studies although I know that I can do everything that I propose. A new year will start with new goals and I propose study, try harder and take more time in what costs me more like English or French.

This year in addition to trying harder in the studies I will try to be more friendly and more sociable, meet more people… In conclusion I'm going to be the way I am and I'm going to maximize my potential

  4. The years have passed very quickly and my family has supported me a lot in the studies, especially my mother who told me to study hard to achieve my goals. He hoped that this year he can pass all subjects. So that my mother feels happy and me too.
Last year I have the languages, but this year I want to approve the ones I have left. What I have to do is study hard.

  6. Now that the year is coming to an end, it is the perfect time to see all the things I have achieved this year.

To begin with, I have finished the school year with very good grades and I even got a diploma for it. I can say that this was a great achievement for me! Me and my family were very happy about that! In addition, during the summer I´ve been preparing myself for the B2 English exam, which I passed at the end of September. This is another important achievement for me because it will be useful for me when I go to the university.

Apart from that, even if I met my friends during the summer, I wish I had seen them more often but it was imposible because I had to study a lot. I enjoy spending time with my friends!

To end up, this year was pretty good for me as I got very good results at school. I hope next year I will work hard to get the highest grades possible as they are important for my Selectivity final grade.

  7. This year 2019, I could have much more time with my friends and I had a lot of fun, I always went out in the afternoon with my friends until very late, although sometimes I did not study and did not do my homework.
I feel like I should have gotten better grades because learning new things is not difficult. I think I don't study as I should, it is hard for me to concentrate and that is worse when something bores me, but I also don't try to change it, although this new year I want to change it and I feel like I'm being influenced by people who didn't study either .
I think I could have gotten better grades and not wasted so many afternoons to study.
