BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

In my opinion, Rubin Hurricane Carter is a great person who has been able to boldly face the problems of racism in the U.S.A.
Nobody really knows how bad the black population lived in America until a few years. Rubin Carter is an example of overcoming and integrity to the problems of his hard life.
I think he has to thank Bob Dylan to compose this song, because it allowed everyone knew the story of the unjust imprisonment of Hurricane Carter. He could then receive significant support from black community leaders, and in November 1985 a new trial was held in order to defend his innocence. The judge realized that he had been a victim of racism and Carter was released.
I hope that no similar case happen again.

Thank`s Bob Dylan and thank`s Carter!!!

  4. I can’t understand why we permit them to do these types of things with people like Rubin Carter, and He is only an example of millions of people who have been imprisioned without reason. It wasn’t a simple mistake but, what was the problem? The skin colour? The ideology?...

He was a really competition for an others boxers, he might have been a champion. I would give all my support! We will not permite more injustices like these… we are very differents but we have all the same rights. STAND UP FOR YOURS RIGHTS!

PS: I think the Bob Dylan song is precious!

  5. I really admire this boxer, he fight for what he wants, and fight against injustices.
There is a film that explains his life, one of my favourite films, that explains the hard life of Carter, how he get ahead above the problems, escaping from the reformatory and entering in the army, finishing how boxer.
Fortunately, he finally released and now he's the director of a organisation that fight against the injustice of the cops.
    He's amazing.

  6. The life of Rubin Hurricane Carter was very difficult. He was born in 1937. When he was a child entered into a place where there were problematic teenager.
He was there during ten years and after that he joined to the army where he began his boxing career in the middleweight.
In 1966 three men were killed and he and a friend were arrested. His case was a great mistake because a lot of years later it was showed that they were innocents. Bob Dylan wrote a claim song which was an important thing to open again the case.
Nowadays, he is the president of a fundation that they help people with faults in their judgements.
His story has been taken to the cinema and the main character is Dezel Whastington as Hurricane.
