BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

Paul McCartney in concert in Madrid

It all began in Liverpool. You remember we were there last year on our IV Study Trip, especially when we visited Liverpool. Have a look at this article in EL PAÍS (watch the video included).

Next Thursday Paul McCartney will be playing in Madrid.

Thanks to our Philosophy teacher, who provided us with all this!!!

  1. Paul McCartney was born on 18th June 1942 in Liverpool. His father is Jim McCartney and his mother, Mary Patricia. When he was a child, his father gave him a trumpet, but he couldn’t sing at the same time that he played the trumpet, this is why he changed the trumpet for the guitar.
One day he went to a concert of John Lennon and Paul was impressed by his the way of touching the guitar. Later, a friend in common introduced them. When John saw how well Paul played the guitar, Paul formed part of the group called, Quarry Men.
In the next year, George Harrison and Ringo Starr joined the group and it became known as The Beatles. This band was considered the first band of pop rock in the history.

The last year, when we travelled to Chester and we visited Liverpool I remember we visited The Cavern, which is a rock and roll club in Liverpool where The Beatles made his first shows in England.
