He also received the Nobel Peace Prize. I think it isn't just people had thrown him in jail for 27 years for their thinking. He is a person who has already gone down in history and will always remember. With the movie yesterday I learned a lot.

I am going to talk about a film call Invictus. Invictus is a film produced in 2009 and it is a biographical sports drama film directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon. The story is based on the John Carlin book Playing the Enemy: Nelson Mandela and the Game That Made a Nation about the events in South Africa before and during the 1995 Rugby World Cup, which was hosted in that country following the dismantling of apartheid. Freeman and Damon play, respectively, South African President Nelson Mandela and François Pienaar, the captain of the South Africa rugby union team, the Springboks.
ResponderEliminarIn my opinion this film is fantastic, the film shows how a president can make rugby becomes a way of bring together black and white people. In my opinion Morgan Freeman played Nelson Mandela phenomenally. In general all the actors do it very well in the film.
I think that Nelson Mandel was the best president in our world, he was cultivate and honest. The pity is that was too long in jail, but that was also good, because he became cultivate and intelligent and he had a lot of time to meditate.

Nelson Madela was born 18th July 1918 and he died recently, 5th December 2013. I am young so, I don't know him when he was younger, but I´ve heard a lot of him. I know that he was a revolutionary who only wanted that white and black people live together without fences. He defended it all his life, for that reason he was jailed for 27 years.
ResponderEliminarHowever, he also did a lot of things in sport, when he was the President of South Africa. He loved football and rugby. He won, in rugby, the World Cup with the Springboks. He talked with the captain François Pinaar and he did a lot for the team, because black people didn't like the team and it had been really bad.
Nowadays South Africans people are really grateful to Mandela. He did a lot for them. But they black people are still poor an they are in very bad conditions. We have to continue.
Alberto.
