BEING A TEACHER....
BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:
Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

A selfie is a self-portrait photograph, typically taken with a hand-held digital camera or camera phone. Selfies are often shared on social networking services such as Instagram, Snapchat, and Tumblr. They are often casual, and are typically taken either with a camera held at arm's length or in a mirror

NASA created a mosaic of the Earth. This year was marked in history as the year that NASA was able to capture an image of the entire Planet.NASA started this worldwide event with the simple question, “Where are you on Earth Right Now?”they requested that people step outside and take a picture with the Earth’s natural features such as mountains, parks and lakes.
I think it is a good idea to sensitize people to look after the planet and the environment but well follow Article
according to Article that puts :
That people from every continent and over 113 countries all around the world took part in this global event, all the way from Antarctica to Pakistan and over 50,000 images were tagged. About a month later on May 22, the “Global Selfie” image was completed and allows users the option of zooming into the mosaic and looking at all of the individual photos.
In my opinion the day of the World selfie it's amazing so I want to participate with a photo the coming year.

Today , NASA has finally presented the outcome of this curious project , a spectacular image of Earth (split in half ) , comprised of 36,422 ' selfies ' , from 113 countries , who hung on Internet social networks with hashtag # globalselfie .
ResponderEliminarFrom Antarctica to Yemen , through Guatemala , Maldives, Pakistan, Poland, Peru and of course Spain , tens of thousands flooded Twitter , Instagram , Facebook, Google+ and Flickr with their self-portraits to participate in this initiative.
The mosaic image is assembled after selecting 36,422 photos which were used among more than 50,000 that were posted on social networks , as many were either not accessible, or not considered usable .
The result is a 3.2 gigapixel image with which you can ' zoom ' for each of the photographs that make up the mosaic.
The objective of the project was to help raise awareness throughout the world population about the beauty and fragility of planetary ship that sailed together all the inhabitants of the Earth.

A selfie is, in short, a self-portrait. The term is usually used in the Internet world to refer to a self-portrait photography that is published online. Selfies is commonplace in blogs, social networks and Instagram. For the solo traveler a selfie is a very common way to document the places you visit.
ResponderEliminarThe typical selfie is a person holding the camera or mobile device throughout his arm, aiming pointing at himself. Photo includes arm, leaving no doubt that this is a self portrait.

GLOBAL SELFIE DAY
ResponderEliminarGlobal Selfie Day is the day in which NASA decided to conmdmorate the Earth with a self-portrait of it.
However, people around the world took a picture of mountains, lakes, river, etc. of the place where they were at that precise moment. Those photograps were uploaded to social networks and NASA created a new mosaic of the Earth with them. This project had a main goal: to concienciate people about the current situation of the Earth.
I think it is a good idea because we can see how human-being has changed it and how we are destroying the Earth. We must be aware that the climate change is due to the deforestation and CO2 emissions.
I think that if we don't take care of the Earth, it will die.
From my point of view, these pieces of advise to avoid this situation is:
- To recycle.
- To reduce CO2 emissions (travelling by bicycle or by public transport).
- To plant trees.
- To take care of forests, rainforests and oceans.
If we follow these tips, we will live in a better world.

The Global Selfie (#GlobalSelfie) is a project which is created by NASA. NASA is a United States government agency that is responsible for science and technology related to air and space. The goal of this project is to aware people to take care of the earth because in the last years the earth has much pollution.
ResponderEliminarThis project consists on people around the world take a selfie, it means that people take a photo where they appear in the country side, in the mountains, o the sea… They must appear with a sign which they have to write “Hi NASA! I’m on Earth Right Now @(location) #GlobalSelfie Earth day APR 22 2014” With these photos, they are going to do a map with photos of all the planet!
I think this idea is very good! I like it so much because it can be used to show people what is the planet’s condition. It is, also, very funny because you can see people from around the world and it is, for me, very funny. If I had known before, I would have done!
From my point of view, this is a good idea and I like so much because I love taking photos and selfie! But there are people who don’t like this project because they think it is a silly thing, but that people, I think, is very boring.

Selfies are often shared on social networking services such as Facebook, Google+, Instagram, Snapchat, Tumblr and Twitter. They are usually flattering and made to appear casual. Most selfies are taken with a camera; with the hand or pointed at a mirror, instead of using a self-timer.
ResponderEliminarI read in the article "The Guardian" Nasa made this mosaic of the world with differents selfies from people of all world, is a good idea for me.

So I'm going to start with What is "selfie". It is basically a type of photo in which you take a photo of yourself and the people that you want. NASA sent the whole planet a simple question: "Where are you right now?". In tribute to our planetary home, the US space agency asked people to send a selfie with their answers, with the goal of building a 'global selfie': a mosaic image of Earth composed of all photos sent by citizens of all The corners of the planet.
