BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

  2. You probably know there are 12 Chinese zodiac animals used to represent years, 2019 is the year of the Pig. Zodiac signs play an integral part in Chinese culture, and can be used to determine your fortune for the year, marriage compatability, career fit, best times to have a baby, and more.
What is the Chinese Zodiac? That's easy.
The general consensus is that the zodiacs originally had something to do with the worship of animals. A zodiac system has existed in Chinese culture since the Qin dynasty, more than 2,000 years ago.
Over time the zodiacs became more and more integrated into everyday life, with different meanings and characteristics assigned to each animal.

I like reading and learning new things from other cultures like Chinese culture or Japanese culture, and now I know a lot of things about these cultures.
This year is the year of the pig, but why is the year of animals in China? It is so easy the legends tells this tradition.
Some tales tells about a mythical beast called Nyan that it eats people at the beggining of the year.
The last year was the year of the chicken and I don't know what the next year is the year of.

  4. 2019 is a Year of the Pig according to the Chinese zodiac, and it's an Earth Pig year. Years of the Pig include 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019, and 2031. In Chinese astrology, each year belongs to a Chinese zodiac animal according to the 12-year cycle.

Men born in the Pig year are optimistic and gentle. They are not the best with money. They trust others easily and this can cause them to lose a fortune. They are also quiet, they love learning and they are always there to help other people.

Women born in the Pig year are full of excitement. They attend social events whenever possible and treat everyone genuinely. Sometimes, they are over-friendly and forget to give others personal space. They also have good fortune with wealth. At home, they are highly organized.

Pigs in the Year of the Pig (2019), may find luck in some areas of their life, but others will require hard work to avoid potential pitfalls. In order to bring as much good luck as possible to your year, it’s a good idea to attend happy events such as weddings or family gatherings.

To sum up, this year is about favoring the characteristics of Pigs in order to succeed, but for Pigs, to whom this comes naturally, they will have a difficult year and must practice patience and discipline.

The Chinese horoscope consists of twelve animals with the following order: rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog and pig. They are five cycles of twelve years of duration. They say that according to the animal year you were born, you have your own characteristics. There are five elements also associated: metal, wood, water, fire and earth. Each element reigns 2 years, one year under the sign of Yang and the other under the Yin. For example, I was born in 2004 and I'm a monkey. Wooden monkey under the Yang.
