Here the main recommendations for my students regarding these two weeks at home:
>> Debe terminar de leerse y escuchar la lectura Around the World in 80 Days y hacer
Deben hacerse a
mano.
visionar.

The government has announced the "alarm state" in Spain and because of that we are in quarantine. School has been cancelled for 2 weeks(but we still have homework) so it should remark how important it is.
ResponderEliminarDuring this quarantine we should stay at home. It is the most basic but most important advice I could give. If we have the symptoms we should´t go to the doctor because all hospitals and sanitaries are collapsed and busy, and they must be used for more severe cases and people who have other important issues like a heart attack, a car accident etc. Also for most of the population this virus will pass just like a flue so the solution for all of them is to stay in bed, treat it like another one, don't panic and do not spread it.
We have to be quarantined for two weeks for the coronavirus. For the students it is happy to be without secondary school but, it is also bad because they forget things.
ResponderEliminarOliver Lozano 1ºA
The government announced on Thursday that since Monday the institutes and colleges have to remain closed for two weeks, because of covid 2019 (coronavirus). Teachers are sending our homework through platforms and gmail, so we all have homework to do. We all have to stay in our homes during quarantine, because if you go out, you can get a ticket. If you find any symptoms do not go to the hospital, as all the hospitals are occupied by more serious cases.
ResponderEliminarThe goverment has announced that we need to stay at home for two weeks, (actually, the goverment adds two weeks more), and is relaxing for us, but some difficult exams that we had (actualy not) we can forget essential things to have good marks.
ResponderEliminarI'm a person that usualy go out with friends or go to parties so stay at home for a month is not as good as if we went out, but with conditions.
At the moment, I have already finished all the homework that teachers send to me, but now, that I have so much time I'm getting bored so easily with all.
I hope that we go out soon.
The government has announced that the quarantine will last until half month of April. We should be conscious that quarantine, is't a holiday, it's a period of time when you can't go out of your home because it's dangerous for you and other people and you must stay at home doing homework as a normal day of class.
ResponderEliminarRecently, the term hasn't finished yet, so we must keep doing all the homework that the teachers told us to do until the term finishes. I don't like to stay too much at home, but's fine because I can do a lot of things. I can play with my sister to a lot of things. She loves board games, so I spend a lot of time playing with her. I can also watch any serie on TV. I can play video games, but not for too long, because I know that they're not healthy for me. I can also do some sport on my backyard, because it's really big.
Right now, I'm all day doing homework and doing sport, so I can be fit and don't get too much weight. I also chat with my friends and they tell me what they're doing and how are they spending their time.
I don't think this quarantine is as bored as much people say, but I think that's much better going out and meet your friends or do some sport.

ResponderEliminarA few days ago, the alarm state was announced by our government. That means that everybody has to stay at home and they can only go out if they have dog or if they have to go shopping. This announcement means that this virus is more serious than we thought before, so we need to stop it from expanding. Some people have followed the government indications, but others are doing what they want. If we want to stop this pandemic, we can´t meet others, so the only way we can do this is staying at home.
ResponderEliminarA problem the government has noticed is that we have very few medical resources and hospitals need them, so they can´t work well. These hospitals are getting too busy because there are a lot of patients with covid-19, so that´s another reason why we can´t go out, because we don´t want to make hospitals collapse.
There are a lot of people that are helping us to be as well as we can, like policemen, shop assistans, doctors...
As you see, this is a hard situation that we have to live, so please, don´t make it harder, and follow the indications that the government gives us, so we can end this hell as soon as we can.
David Bacas 4ºA
The government has long announced the state of alarm and the beginning of the quarantine in Spain. Institutes, universities and colleges have closed as a precaution to this new virus called COVID-19, which was spread in China in December 2019. We are still waiting for instructions.
ResponderEliminarThe most important thing in this quarantine is not to go outside, since if we have it we can transmit it to other people or catch it. The government announced that you can only go out to the pharmacy, supermarkets, and work (farmers only) as long as they wear masks and gloves. But still; there are still people who do not meet these conditions.
Despite the fact that due to the quarantine we do not go to the institute, schools, universities, etc., the teachers send jobs, assignments, make a videoconference ..., in order to continue with the subject. so it is not a vacation. In this period we have to be responsible since we do not know when we could return.
Me personally regarding quarantine, I think that we should all follow the appropriate indications since it seems that some of us are not aware of the danger we are in. This is a virus that in most cases kills. As for the educational tasks, I think it is the right thing as long as the teachers do not exaggerate by sending too many homework.
This day was the beginning of a great nightmare. The alarm state was announced by the central government in Madrid. One day before Andalucia’s government has announced the close of the educational community, both schools and universities.
ResponderEliminar13th, March, 2020 is going to be an episode in the history of Spain and we are going to be the main characters. This, like any story, has heroes and villains, although it depends on who speaks, and who is who in this story. The story’s setting is Spain, a country whose future is uncertain.
The main problem was that we had few medical resources. Another big problem was the fact that people didn’t follow the rules. They were on the streets and this caused that hospitals were collapsed.
From my point of view, the critical situation was politized and this is wrong. We should remain together as a great nation in order to solve this inconvenient in our daily life. It is not about ideas; this is about people, especially about lives.
Last Thursday the government decreed the state of alarm, because of an epidemic that has ended millions of people. During this quarantine we have had to stay in our homes out of respect and health for ourselves, that is why they closed schools, institutes and a lot of work. During the quarantine, our teachers have sent us tasks through gmail and other platforms to continue giving us the knowledge we need.
ResponderEliminarThe government announced the state of alarm on March 14, it was Friday, I will not forget that day when our lives were going to change.
ResponderEliminarHere in Spain we did not know what we were going to face until the virus reached our country, that is when our lives were going to change completely, you could not leave home, you could only go buy a person ... When you see the news and you see thousands of infected people and people start to die, there you realize that this was not a game, it is a pandemic.
The first days it was strange for me not to be able to leave home to go to school or later in the afternoon to go out with friends, when a week passed it was getting heavier and the hours were very slow, the teachers began to send many duties and we were a little overwhelmed the truth, was getting used to the new life.
Now that we have got used to this new life, all that remains is to live with the virus and move forward.
ALL ABOUT ME IN THE AFTERNOONS
ResponderEliminarMany times I don't have enough time to do what I like in the afternoons, I have too much homework or I have to go to karate where I spend too much time.
When I get home I take a shower and have dinner, I must go to bed before ten, those are my afternoons.

EL SILBON (Venezuelan legend)
ResponderEliminarThe Silbón is a specter of Venezuelan folklore, whose legend originates from the region of Guanarito, Portuguesa State.
Legend has it that Silbón was a spoiled and capricious boy. One day he insisted that he wanted to eat roast meat and asked his father who went hunting in the forest but returned empty-handed and his son killed him.
When he died, his soul was trapped wandering the Venezuelan plains with a sack full of his father's bones on his shoulder.
They say that he whistles and if you hear his whistle far away it means he is close and if you hear him close it means he is far away.

HITLER ¿QUIÉN FUE?
ResponderEliminarBiography
Son of an Austrian customs officer, his childhood was spent in Linz and his youth in Vienna. Adolf Hitler's training was scarce and self-taught, as he barely received any education. In Vienna (1907-13) he failed in his vocation as a painter, he lived poorly as a vagabond and saw his racist prejudices grow before the spectacle of a cosmopolitan city, whose intellectual and multicultural vitality was completely incomprehensible to him. His conversion to Germanic nationalism and anti-Semitism dates from that time.
In 1913 Adolf Hitler fled the Austro-Hungarian Empire to avoid military service; He took refuge in Munich and enlisted in the German army during the First World War (1914-18). The defeat led him to enter politics, championing an ideology of nationalist reaction, marked by rejection of the new democratic regime of the Weimar Republic, whose politicians he accused of having betrayed Germany by accepting the humiliating peace conditions of the Treaty of Versailles ( 1919).
Back in Munich, Hitler joined a small far-right party, of which he would soon become the main leader, renaming it the National Socialist German Workers Party (NSDAP). This party declared itself nationalist, anti-Semitic, anti-communist, anti-liberal, anti-democratic, anti-pacifist and anti-capitalist, although this last revolutionary component of a social nature would soon be forgotten; Such a motley ideological conglomerate, fundamentally negative, was fed by the fears of the German middle classes regarding the uncertainties of the modern world. Influenced by Mussolini's fascism, this movement, adverse both to what existed and to any trend of progress, represented the reactionary response to the crisis of the liberal State that the war had accelerated.

EVERYTHING ABOUT THE RUBIK'S CUBE:
ResponderEliminarThe Rubik's Cube is a three-dimensional mechanical puzzle created by Hungarian sculptor and architecture professor Ernő Rubik in 1974.2345 Originally called a "magic cube",6 the puzzle was licensed by Rubik to be sold by Ideal Toy Company in 1980,7 year in which it won the German Game of the Year award in the best puzzle category.8 Until 2020, 450 million cubes were sold worldwide,19 making it, not only the best-selling puzzle,1011 but is generally considered the best-selling toy in the world.12
A classic Rubik's cube has six uniform colors (traditionally white, red, blue, orange, green and yellow).13 An axle mechanism allows each face to rotate independently, thus mixing the colors. To solve the puzzle, each face must be returned to a single color.
It was initially called "Magic Cube". This three-dimensional puzzle has a fascinating structure: in its classic version, it consists of 26 moving pieces and can present up to 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 different combinations. Despite that astonishing number of possibilities, there is only one correct configuration that shows all the colors aligned on each of its six faces. Solving it involves moving the pieces precisely through a specific sequence of moves to reach that ordered state.
The cube celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2005, so a special edition of it went on sale in which the white face was replaced by a reflective one that read "Rubik's Cube 1980-2005." On its 30th anniversary, in 2010, another special edition made of wood was marketed.
There are variations with various numbers of levels. The main versions that exist are the following: the 3×3×3, the original Rubik's cube,14 the 4×4×4 (Rubik's Revenge), the 5×5×5 (The Professor's Cube); and since September 2008 the 6×6×6 and 7×7×7 from Panagiotis Verdes.15 The Shengshou company has launched 8x8x8, 9x9x9 and 10x10x10 cubes on the market since the beginning of 2012. Since then, both new products and new brands have been released.

VIRTUAL TOURISM
ResponderEliminar-REALITY plus
When people think of VR (virtual reality),they often think of video games, but it is also an important technology for the travel industry.Companies already use a virtual reality on their websites to help sell their products. If people enjoy the VR experience, they'll book the trip.Virtual reality is also a feature at many tourist attractions. For example,at the Franklin Institute in the USA,visitors wear VR headsets to travel through space, under the oceans or inside the human body. And many theme parks use VR to make the rides more exciting-or more frightening!
A VIRTUAL WORLD
Now there is a new trend: tourist attractions which are 100% VR.If you visit the VR Star Theme Park in southwestern China or the VR Park in Dubai, you will see any rollercoasters or water slides. These two theme parks only offer VR rides. And the Kremer Museum is not located in a real building;it only exists online. If you download the app, you'll be able to look at all the paintings.
IMPOSSIBLE ADVENTURES
As VR technology improves, the possibilities increase and will soon include activities that you cannot do in the real world, like climbing inside an active volcano.Wheelchair users will be able to trek across the Himalayas .And if you are unable to travel for whatever reason, virtual reality will allow you to explore the world without leaving home.
A GREEN OPTION
If you care about the natural world, there is another reason to welcome VR. Air travel produces a over 900 billion kilos of CO2 every year. And tourism can damage the environment in other ways too: tourists need hotels, taxis, roads and so on. So,there is no doubt that virtual tourism is better for our planet.

The most important discovery in history:
ResponderEliminarANTIBIOTICS
1.In my opinion, the most important breakthrough in history was the discovery of antibiotics. They were first developed in 1928 by Alexander Fleming and since then have saved millions of lives.
2.Many serious diseases are caused by bacteria. These diseases can be cured by antibiotics, doctors had no way of fighting them.Even a minor injury could cause a deadly infection.Children were most at risk.In 1900,more than a third of children died before their 5th birthday.
3.In developing countries, antibiotics have had dramatic effect on health.Infections during childhood can cause serious health problems in later life.Antibiotics can treat infections and prevent problems. They are widely used because they are not as expensive as many other medicines.
4.Overall,antibiotics have had a very positive impact on the world. However,if antibiotcs are used too much, they might stop being effective. We should only use them when necessary,so thet future genarations can enjoy their benefits.

3.Quincy has achieved all of this despite a serious medical condition, which she has had since birth.Quincy suffers from an adrenal deficiency.During the first two and half years of her life, she spent more time in hospital than at home according to her mother ,Kim.Since then, she has needed special medical treatment three times a day ,every day.But these health problems have not stopped Quincy from leading a full and active life.In fact, perhaps they have given her even more motivation.
4.Quincy is a great role model for young people who want to excel at a particular sport. Her own role models include female surfers like Stephanie Gilmore, who has won the world championship six times. They also include people from other sports. For example,Quincy really admires Lydia Lassila,a skier from Australia, because she has always talked about wanting to be the best_not the best female competitor, just the best.
5.Although surfing is Quincys main interest, she also loves music. She is an excellent guitarist and has posted videos or her performances on her Facebook page. She hasnt released any songs, but perhaps shell do that one day soon.

ALL ABOUT JOHNNY DEPP
ResponderEliminarSon of John Christopher Depp (1938), a civil engineer, and Betty Sue Palmer (1935-2016)—whose maiden name was Wells—, a waitress, Johnny Depp was born on June 9, 1963 in Owensboro ( Kentucky).1415 He has a brother, Daniel, who is a writer, and two sisters: Christie, who works as his personal administrator, and Debbie. It has French, German, Irish and Cherokee ancestry, which is why it classifies itself as a "mongrel dog." According to some biographers, the family descends from a French Huguenot immigrant, Pierre Deppe or Dieppe, who settled in Virginia around in 1700 and joined a refugee colony located above the James River Falls. Later, the actor said that his great-grandmother grew up in the Cherokee Indian group or perhaps in Indian Creek, although there is evidence to the contrary.
During his childhood he moved to several towns, including Miramar, when he was seven years old. In 1978, when he was fifteen, his parents divorced. His mother married Robert Palmer (who died in 2000), who was a great source of inspiration for him. Depp later said: "I can't say that my childhood It was perfect, if I did something wrong, they hit me, if not, too."
Before working as an actor, he worked as a telephone pen salesman. About this job, he said: «You call people who don't want to receive your call. You put on your fakest voice and try to sell them crappy pens with their names printed on them."After quitting, he worked as a mechanic.
