Respect is such an important word. If you give respect, you'll get respect. It is something extremely necessary for the world peace.
ResponderEliminarNow, The Talibans have retaken the Afghan capital of Kabul 20 years after being removed. The president has left the country and many people are evacuating. The desperate scenes at Kabul airport underlined the gravity of the situation.
There, women aren't respected. They have lost all their rights. Women have to wear the all-covering burka, and the Taliban also disapproved of girls aged 10 and over going to school. They aren't allowed to work, to do sport or other freedom. This is a terrible situation, it is horrifying.

The word respect is so important because it is necessary in human relationships. If we respect the other people, they will respect us too. With respect, everyone will be good.
ResponderEliminarEveryone must respect and must be respected. The respect is a value that we find in all areas of our life. Not only we must respect humans, the respect can be towards animals, environment, society or the law.
There are situations in which people are not treated with respect. For example, the case of women from Afghanistan. Due to the Taliban, the women can’t go to the street alone, work, study what they want or wear normal clothes. I think that this isn’t just for them.
Leo Maldonado
The human being lives in society, and it has been that way for millions of years. It has helped it to improve and evolve and that´s a fact, but nowadays, we live in an age where we can enjoy peace most of the time, so our lives are based on relationships. This can be cool. Most countries don´t have wars or warlike problems, so everyone should be happy right? Well, that´s not true. It´s a fact that we live in a society, but not everybody knows how to. We should help each other and let everyone improve. But, why isn´t it this way? Why do we see bullying problems, racism, homophobia, etc?
ResponderEliminarRespect is essential, and everyone should learn it. One of the biggest problems of our society is this one. Some people judge others just for what they think, wear, do, like or other things. This is unacceptable. No one should feel uncomfortable for anything others say. It´s not right. Everyone should be able to do/think/say what they want, without consequences, as long as they don´t hurt or offend anyone.
There are many types of disrespect, from things we do or say, to whole ways of thinking. The first ones are really common, everybody has his owns. It´s important to say that it´s impossible to remove these thoughts, everyone makes his own prejudices, but the problem comes when our way to treat someone or how we act with them comes guided by this prejudices. We should learn how to control and hide them.
The other type is more common, they are thoughts like racism, machism, homophobia, etc. These ones are harder but possible to remove. They come from other ages, with a different way of feeling, so when the society evolves, some persons remains with the old thoughts. It is hard to make them forget what they had thought for years, but it is possible, showing them they aren´t right.
In summary. Respect is a thing everyone should learn, we should help each other and learn different things from them. The problem comes when instead of doing that, we criticise others. If we hurt each other, there is no success for us as a society, and to solve this, we have to teach our kids to respect others, because they are the future of the humankind we are creating.
David Bacas Posadas
Respect is something so great and a great value that encompasses so many things.
ResponderEliminarPeople have to respect each other in that we have our differences, we do not get along or other things, but respect is essential so that people can live in the world in peace.
If no one respected himself because he is different from another or whatever it was, he would not be able to live in the world because there would be continuous wars.
Respect must always be ahead of everything and always respect everyone. Respect is something that must be educated from the moment you are born and be always present in your life.
SERGIO GARCÍA LOPEZ 4A
Respect is very important if we want to achieve peace.
ResponderEliminarNo matter how different we are, we have to respect each other to live in peace.
The Taliban have arrived in Afghanistan and many people are fleeing the country.
Women are not respected, they have to cover their entire body to go out on the streets, they can't work and girls can't go to school. It is a terrible situation.
Denisa Andreea Tomoroga 4ºA
For millions of years the human being has lived in society, this has been beneficial for the improvement and evolution of this. Nowadays our life is based on relationships although it does not always affect us positively, since conflicts or rejections of what is different are also generated from relationships or diversity between people is not accepted.
ResponderEliminarThese conflicts are due to the fact that we are not respectful of others which is a big problem for our society. This creates fears in us, such as rejection or being judged for what we do, how we are, our way of life.
It is worth mentioning harassment, bullying, homophobia, racism. In the case of bullying, it reaches the point where the person who suffers it, cannot stand the situation and no longer feels good about himself and causes him to commit suicide, or also in racism or homophobia, groups of people are formed against one and they kill him for being different or as they say 'weird'.
To sum up, the world is full of everything, people with hatred and good people. But these people with hatred try to end the different ones for not being like them and it is always done in the same way based on pain and suffering even in the event of ending lives.

Everyone must respect each other, because it is fundamental for coexistence. We must respect ideologies, thoughts, races, cultures ...
ResponderEliminarYou have to have a lot of respect for older people and it is something that many children do not do and they think they can talk to them however they want, but they are really rude. You see that a lot in schools, many years ago teachers beat children who did not behave well and students paid attention to them in everything, now students do whatever they want and even insult teachers.
To my father, for the simple fact of being left-handed, the teacher tied his hand behind the chair, until he learned to write with his right hand. I think that is excessive, because the teachers at that time had no respect for children.
It is difficult to maintain respect for everyone, but it is necessary to have a good coexistence.
María Romero
All people must be respected regardless of their skin color, nationality or gender.
ResponderEliminarIn Spain there is respect but not so much, in the United States there is no respect whatsoever, there are many deaths a day or a year due to lack of respect, they tend to be brown people of white people, that does not seem to me that it is that of normal people .
Respect should be given at home to young children from an early age
Oliver Lozano 3ºA
Respect is a word that should be present in many areas. Society should be based on respect, but this is not the case, since society is based on selfishness and lack of solidarity, people no longer help each other but there are competencies, these competencies can be seen in many things in the world. day to day.
ResponderEliminarFor me, we must find respect in everything, both with your parents, as with your friends or your partner, also in high school and with unknown people, because if we do not base all these relationships on respect, they will notice to go well since it is something fundamental.
In society there is a lot of lack of respect, since if there were, we would not find the amount of disrespect that there is. We find attacks of all kinds since not each person is respected for their thoughts or tastes, each person is different and we cannot expect that we are all the same and that we have the same tastes. Today we find homophobic aggressions or bullying, and because of this type of aggression there are people who die.
In conclusion, respect must always be present to live in peace and in this way we will make many people live their lives calmly and we will also save many lives, since there are people who die from the lack of respect they receive.
