BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

Spring into action before it is too late!!

In a bit more than a month we will be starting a new school year, there are still no movements from our students. What's the matter? Spring into action (Friday phrase, BBC Learning English) before it is too late. Remember you can write comments, hand in the Control Sheet of the compulsory readers we have got for next year...

Some activities for you to do:

Here's my musical hint for today: I feel for you by Chaka Khan, and pay attention to the harmonica solo by Stevie Wonder. Here's a version with the lyrics for you to sing and dance along!!

  1. I think that the "sardinitis" affected all of us but there is another reason, we wanted to relax and go to another places because we returned to a certain "normality" and we could do anything fun, for example: some people dedicated time in himselfs or doing something with friends, going travelling to another part of Spain or other country, but something that most of the people of my class did is playing videogames with friends.

  2. The Netherlands in the 70s was known as "Mechanical Orange" and is considered one of the best teams in history, although they didn´t win any title.
From my point of view, it was a team that changed the way football was played because they had some ideas that were new at that time, such as the whole team defending and attacking at the same time. Their best players were Johan Cruyff and Neeskens who led the team to two World Cup finals.
Currently, the Netherlands is in the quarterfinals of the World Cup in Qatar, they have a very good team and an experienced coach.
