Rodents are mammalian animals that are characterized by their teeth, making it easier to gnaw. Their teeth are so sharp that they can even gnaw through wood. If a mouse gets into your house it is dangerous because it can eat the furniture and they can even eat the cables. Most usually have 4 legs and 1 tail.
ResponderEliminarThere is a wide variety of rodents: rats, mice, squirrels, beavers, rabbits, hansters, hares...
There are rodents that we use for food: rabbits, hares... Rabbits are eaten a lot in my house. They are generally herbivores although there are exceptions. They feed on seeds, herbs, flowers, roots, insects...
Some rodents are pets like guinea pigs, hamsters, squirrels.
Other rodents are considered pests due to the damage they cause to crops and because they are carriers of diseases.
Although some rodents are animals that can harm humans, they are more important because of the services they provide: food, medicine, they are also important as pets...

This March, the students of 4ºESO and 1ºbach, have traveled on a cruise on the Mediterranean Sea. We have had the opportunity to visit a lot of cities and places and spend time with our friends and teachers.
ResponderEliminarAlthough we had to travel for 12 hours on a bus, not too comfortable, however, we were so nervous that we didn’t mind this. At last, we arrived to Barcelona, although we are so tired of the long journey, we get up when we saw the immensity of the ship and more when after a lot of controls, we could discover and enjoy the activities of the ship. The first day we visited Mallorca, we could visit its port and its cathedral, also in this day we made a lot of friends and we could enjoy the sunrise because the second day we hadn’t got up early because we were sailing for one day. Maybe it was my favorite day because we could do all types of activities on the cruise, like swimming pools, Jacuzzis, slides, games… And don´t have Internet or overage it wasn’t a problem. The third day we visited Palermo, where we saw a lot of places with monuments and architecture so beautiful. But we were impressed when the fourth day we visited Rome, what a beautiful city! I´m sure that I will return. We were in the Colosseum, then the Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli, which had a very nice ceiling, the Roman Forum, and some other things like the Trevi Fountain, where we throw coins as the tradition. Also, we could try the Italian pizzas and ice cream. Although this night the sea was with the tide, and we had to go to sleep early. The fifth day we visited Génova, I loved its places! And finally the sixth day we went to Marsella that although we were so tired, even so, we enjoyed walking through its streets and its port. Sadly, everything has final, and our adventure ended.
But as teenagers that we are, our favorite part was the parties of the cruise, every night we had a theme party, we had themes like black and red, neon, white, gala, costumes, Italian, and Spanish. That was an experience that I will never forget, because not only enjoy the trip, if not that we have improved our relationships and maybe with classmates or teachers that we had never talked to, now we have confidence.
I hope to return because I’m sure that it was the best travel that I have had.
