BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

What does your name sound like?

As soon as you hear the first name of somebody you make an image of this person in your mind? Some names sound as if the person were strong or sweet or charming...

A listening exercise for you to do: The stories behind our names  (BBC Learning English)

So think of your English teacher's name and tell me what, in your opinion, he may be like.

It is time for you to know with The etymology and history of first names:  BEHIND THE NAME

For instance, 'Albert' means 'noble and bright'
