BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

Historical moments

During our lives there are important historical moments that we live and that we later tell all our kin.

All along these 13 years we have been working on this blog and we have recorded amazing stories and facts, such as: the pandemics (Coronavirus & Covid-19), an unbelievable Super Skydive!!!! , Nadal's victories Victory belongs to the most tenacious ...

However, this is not just a matter of great facts, but also it can refer to our personal humble careers. For instance, this week our IES Mediterraneo students can also make history as it happened some years ago:  Moments of glory    >>>  UNBEATABLE!!!!

History is being written right now!!!!

Last weekend we also lived a historical moment when Real Madrid won its 15th Champions League:

Nevertheless, this is a non-stop effort towards new goals in this road to success and the same as our students, who must keep on working after the Selectivity exams, Real Madrid is already thinking about the future....

  3. Yesterday, when we got off the plane, we went directly to the Liverpool field. It's very big! Then we went to the official Liverpool store, all very nice. My friend Patricia and I bought a liverpool magnet. Then we went to a shopping centre, ate in a kfc and went to the Stradivarius, pull&bear stores, etc. Later, we arrived at our houses and met the families, they are very nice! We have very good food for dinner and they cook very well. Later we went to our rooms and fell asleep and today we got up at 7:00 am.

  6. Iniesta's goal in the 2010 World Cup final is like one of those magical moments that leave you breathless. Imagine being in a super important soccer match, the most important in the world, and after 116 minutes of tension, the ball falls at Iniesta's feet. With impressive calm, he kicks and sends the ball to the back of the net. Everyone jumps, screams and hugs each other. It's like the whole country is celebrating at the same time. It was a goal that not only meant winning a game, but also making history. For a football fan, it is an unforgettable moment.

  7. The Netherlands' match against Spain in the 2010 World Cup final was super exciting and full of nerves. Imagine watching the most important match in the world, where the winner takes the World Cup. From the beginning, both teams played very hard and at times it looked a little rough, because everyone wanted to win
During regulation time, neither team was able to score a goal, although there were many opportunities and moments in which it seemed that one was going to score. They went to extra time and the tension was incredible, because anyone could win at any time.
Then, in the 116th minute, when almost everyone thought the game would go to penalties, Andrés Iniesta received a pass inside the area and shot hard. The ball entered the goal and everyone who supported Spain began to shout and jump for joy. It was an incredible moment because Spain won its first World Cup.
In the end, Spain won 1-0 and became world champions. It was a very difficult and exciting match, and Iniesta's goal was like a dream come true for all Spain fans.

  8. I would like to go to Dublin some year, although I'm not very passionate about English, but I think that if I get interested in English, I could go and learn many more things in English and new English cultures.

  9. Tennis is a super fun and exciting sport played with rackets and a small yellow ball. It is played on a rectangular court divided by a net. There are two ways to play: individually (one against one) or in pairs (two against two). The objective is to hit the ball with the racket so that it goes over the net and falls into the opponent's playing area. You have to do this so that your opponent cannot return the ball. The points are added up and the first player or team to win a set number of sets wins the match. It is a sport that requires skill, speed and strategy.

  11. What an exciting match between Alcaraz and Zverev in the final of Roland Garros 2024. Alcaraz, the young Spanish talent, and Zverev, the German veteran, faced each other in an epic battle on the Parisian clay. At first, Zverev took the lead with his powerful game, but Alcaraz did not give up and fought point by point. With a combination of aggressiveness and resistance, Alcaraz managed to even the score. The match was an exciting back-and-forth with spectacular exchanges of blows. Ultimately, Alcaraz emerged as the winner, showing his determination and exceptional skills. It was a final to remember, marking Alcaraz's rise as a star in the world of tennis.

  12. A historic moment is when FC Barcelona beat PSG 6-1 in the Champions League, in the first leg PSG beat Barcelona 4-0 and in the second leg Barcelona did something historic because in the 95th minute Neymar Jr crossed the ball and Sergio Roberto scores with the tip of his boot and all the Barcelona fans went crazy as they qualified for the quarterfinals thanks to that piece of the game.
