BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

The students finally twigged their English teacher was right

Discussions, arguments, controversies... Students and teachers never seem to come to an agreement until it is already too late... usually for students because we must always remember the story of the old wise owl ( I told you! )

In my case, it is the same! It is just worthless when years later, one day on the tennis court and me struggling to move on a tennis court, they tell me: "If we had listened to you..., now we wouldn't have this or that problem". It is really a shame!

  1. It's true that students and teachers often have disagreements, but in the end, the teacher’s advice is often right. The story of the old wise owl is a perfect example of this ,sometimes, we only realize the truth after it’s too late. Teachers try to share their wisdom, and students might not always understand right away, because of inmadurity but eventually the teacher was right all the time. It shows that patience and listening carefully can help us learn important lessons!
