BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

The unsolved housing problem

Fourteen years ago I published this post onto this blog: The housing problem in Spain

and it seems we still haven't managed to find the solution for it.

Our society, especially the younger generations, should also make an effort to solve the problem by saving more and not wasting so much, by choosing the right place to live and not only thinking about living in big cities... What other solutions can you think of?

  1. The match between Carlos Alcaraz and Denis Shapovalov was very exciting and had many intense moments. Alcaraz played with a lot of energy and showed his great level of tennis. Shapovalov also fought until the end and played some good points. Overall, it was an entertaining match, with fast shots and a lot of competition between the two players.

  2. Rafael Nadal Rutine
Rafael Nadal follows a much more flexible and family-centered routine after retiring from professional tennis, waking up around 7:00 AM to take his son to school.
    Mornings & Physical Activity
    • Breakfast: He eats toasted bread with olive oil (and sometimes with anchovies).
    • Gym: He works out three days a week, from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM, to stay in shape and protect joints like his knees and shoulders.
    • Leisure Sports: He plays soccer with friends, goes sailing, or enjoys golf and fishing.
    Afternoons & Personal Life
    • Family: He reserves his afternoons to spend quality time with his wife and children.
    • Projects: He dedicates time to managing his academy in Mallorca and exploring new professional and educational initiatives.

  3. Carlos Alcaraz has tennis practice every day, but Rafa Nadal doesn’t because he is retired.

Carlos Alcaraz play matches but, Rafa Nadal doesn't play matches because he is retired.

Carlos Alcaraz gets up at six o'clock in the morning, but Rafa Nadal isn't getting up so early because he is retired.

Carlos Alcaraz goes to sleep at seven o'clock in the afternoon, but Rafa Nadal doesn't go to sleep at that time because he is retired.

Carlos Alcaraz is a professional tennis player today, but Rafa Nadal is retired and he doesn't play tennis any more.

  6. Yesterday my grandmother Manuela said that we go to eat “puchero” in her house. She said that she was cooking puchero all morning.

I love “puchero”. I think is tastier than pizza, cupcakes…
My grandmother’s puchero is the best because she puts a lot of meats and vegetables.

After lunch, she said we need to walk the dog in the park of Molvízar. The park in Molvizar is bigger and more beautiful than the park near to my house. There are a lot of trees in the park.

My dog was very happy and running a lot. I think my dog is happier than me wen go to the park. We had a very nice day in my town.

  7. I'm going to tell you about the sports I used to practise. When I was little, l started doing ballet when I was three years old, but I didn't like it very much. Then, I started swimming and practised it for two years. As I grew up, I started dancing flamenco, which I liked more and more. I danced flamenco for one year, but l also enjoyed rhythmic gymnastics. I practised this sport for many years, and I used to win a lot of competitions, but I stopped four years ago.

  10. Spain’s housing crisis is becoming unaffordable for ordinary people, especially young people and working families.Rent and property prices keep rising while wages fail to keep up,making access to decent housing an increasingly distant dream.Housing should be a basic right, not a luxury or an investment opportunity for a few.The government must take urgent action to regulate excessive rents, increase the supply of affordable housing, and ensure that everyone has access to a decent home.A country cannot build a fair future if its people cannot afford a place to live.

My friend Alex said, “I am very happy today because I have finished all my homework. Yesterday, I studied English and Maths for two hours. I think English is interesting, but sometimes it is difficult. Tomorrow I am going to play football with my friends after school. I also want to watch a film with my family tonight. My mum always says ‘You have to study hard to get good marks.’ Last weekend, I visited my grandparent and we had lunch together. They told me funny stories about their childhod. I really enjoy spending time with them because they make me laugh. Next summer, I want to travel to the beach with my family. I think it will be a fantastic holiday.”

  17. In my opinion, Gustavo Kuerten is a great tennis player and an example for many people. He worked hard to become a champion and never gave up. I think sport is important because it teaches us discipline, respect and how to overcome difficulties. His story shows that hard work can help us achieve our dreams.
