BEING A TEACHER....
BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:
Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.
by Bruce Lee
In my opinion, I disagree with home schooling because I think students should go to school not only to learn but to interact with others children.
ResponderEliminarIs important to spend time with someonone like you, because at work you'll need it.
Also I prefer public schools than private schools. I think public schools teachers are more qualified because they have had to pass a opposion to work, while private school teachers have been chosen by the owners of the schools. For me, people shouldn't pay to learn because learning is free and the important is that student wants to learn. The only thing of private schools that I like is that the students wear uniforms. So there is no difference between the purchasing power of each family, because there are no marks or distinctions.
I prefer completely a public school. I think the children must have a good childhood, and with other students of differents costumes.
ResponderEliminarFive days a week, the children are at the school six hours, and they need have comfortable for a good study.
Also, if you go to a public school, you pay nothing
in my opinion education is the foundation of any society. Public education is not always very discredited state or private education is the best way to educate prospective students.I prefer public education has the backing of the state which invests money to ensure a good and modern facilities to enable students to develop their qualities.
ResponderEliminarI think it would be the best education for children is in the public schools, the first thing that we should not pay anything and will learn the same thing in a school in another and the latter, and I agree with Antonio that children have to have a good childhood.
ResponderEliminarJesús Guirado 1ºbach-c
I don't like schooling home because you don't have pressure for study that you have when you stay in the school, and you can distract from the study more easily. Children need to know new friends too. But sometimes parents know to teach good at the children at home.
ResponderEliminarI think the state schools are like the public schools, because the subjects are like in all the schools and students learn the same information. But students of state schools have to pay more money and so they think they are better.
I prefer public schools, as one of the few differences they have with private schools is the uniform, which I hate. Homeschooling is used to have the young stars celebrities who don´t have time to go to school or rich people who can afford it, as it must be so expensive.
ResponderEliminarI also think that for a teenager or a child is more interesting to go to a center to interact with people with the same age and also interact with kids of the opposite sex. I say this because there are private schools where boys and girls are divided into the classrooms and I think this is silly because sometimes you feel better with someone of the opposite sex.
María Rodríguez Martín 1º Bach. A
I think that the best education for the children is in the public school, because there it is where really it is learned in also if the children study in the public school there it will be able to relate to people of his age and to make some new friends.
ResponderEliminarLorena Gutiérrez Paqué 1ºB Bach.
In my opinion, home schoooling is good in the cass to area where is your house is far away from school.
ResponderEliminarI think it's best to go to a public school or private depending the family budget.
The education in private schools is the same as public schools.
In the two schools you can make friends, meet new people and get the same skills as one or the other.
I think that the best education is on a state school. Many people thinks that the public school are better than state school, because you can only go if you pay so much money and it´s because people thinks the education it´s better. But really at the state schools you study much, because if you pay in a public school you can pass the exams ( not in all the public schools) there are other public school when the education is extremelly good. In other order, I think that the home education is not good, because people must be friends and live with other people, and it´s very important to make more sociable the childre.
ResponderEliminarAna Béjar Sánchez 2º Bach B.
I think that a public school is better than home schooling because in the home schooling the children can't relate with others children and for the educate is too important children to knonw others children. However, home schooling is used to celebrities and for very rich people. I don't like the private school because the children must wear an uniform, and I don't like it.
ResponderEliminarAlba Pineda
In my opinion, I think that public schools are much better than private schools. One reason is that in public schools you don´t have to pay anything for studying there, you only have to pay for yor school material, for example, pencils, rubbers, books or notebooks. However, in private schools you have to pay a lot of money every month only for studying there, and also you have to buy very expensive school uniforms. What a madness!. Another reason is that in some private schools children pass because their parents pay for it, however this doesn't happen in public schools.
ResponderEliminarMireya González Paredes 2ºA BACH
In my opinion, both options hace their adventages and disadvantages. Children who have been educated by home schooling maybe aren't used to be with other children, but, if they have good educators, they will probably have got better knowledge, as they have got their own speed of work. However, we can't forget that it's neccesary children played and grew up surrounded by more children, so I think they will be happier if they go to a public school.
ResponderEliminarIn my opinion, I disagree with home schooling because I think students should go to school not only to learn but to interact with others children.
ResponderEliminarIs important to spend time with someonone like you, because at work you'll need it.

For me, people shouldn't pay to learn because learning is free and the important is that student wants to learn not with the money from parents that buy her notes.
I think everything can be positive or negative. It is very convenient to study at home, where you have a comfortable chair, a large table and everything is to your liking; however, if we were not at school, perhaps we would have our friends and our social life would be more limited.
ResponderEliminarPublic schools have many advantages, our parents do not pay money, usually are close to our house and everyone can go. However, in private schools, there may be selected people. Sometimes they wear uniforms, which I think is a good thing because because it is very comfortable and is a way for anyone to think that social class you belong to your outfit.
Sounds great! There are a lot of opinions around this new. First we are going to explain what is Homeschooling, Public School and State School:
ResponderEliminara) Homeschooling is a type of education that it done in our house. The parents teach their children in home.
b) Public School is a type of school in england that is rich and more expensive than others types of schools.
c)State school is the same as public schools in Scotland, EEUU and Canada.
I think that home schooling is very old and now it is imposible to make in our society, so the best education is in the state schools where you can learn a lot of subjets.
JuanJosé Rovira Medina 1ª Bach
Homeschooling it's better for the education of the child cause he has'nt any distracctions , yes, but it have a negative part, the child needs to learn a social education, and he can learn this in a book, he has to make friends and have classmates, and pley with they in the breaklunch.
ResponderEliminarPrivate schools have a problem, they have a price, and usually anybody have the money. Isn't as different as no-private schools,well.. the students of a private school normally wear an ugly uniform.
Ignacio Castilla López 1º Bac C
I think that the public school is better than the home schooling, because if we study at home we don't take the same attention that in the class, in the exams we can copy if we are in our houses, we won't have the same concepts to study in a future...

The words 'state education' and 'public education' are sometimes a bit confusing, mostly because they use different terms outside the UK. In the United States a 'public school' means a school provided by the government, in England this is called a 'state school'. Fee paying schools are called 'private schools' in the States but in England they are often called 'public schools'. This sounds like a contradiction in terms but there is a reason how this came about. Charity schools were established to educate poor children and they were called 'public schools' to show that they were open to everyone, no matter what class or religious background they came from. These developed into private paying schools when the state set up schools for all children.
ResponderEliminarThere are many public schools in England and some of them have high profiles such as Eton, Rugby and Shrewsbury. They have excellent academic records and many famous people were educated in them. This may be why their fees are also high! Public schools take boarders which are pupils who live and eat at the school, but they also take day pupils, who live close by and only come in for the day. There is a strong ethos in these schools and they foment competition, loyalty to the school and a caring atmosphere. Many of their pupils spend most of their lives living and studying there, and they develop a strong attachment to the school and its community. Public schools are usually structured in a 'house system'. Boarders belong to a house and even the day pupils are attached to a particular house and the schools encourage a strong competitive spirit between the houses both in class work, debates and sports. Pupils from eleven to eighteen will belong to a particular house and the older pupils will have care of the younger ones, this encourages a caring attitude amongst the students.
I attended a public school for 8 years following the British curriculum. It was small but it still had some of the ethos of British public schools. The discipline was strong and there was a lot of inter-house competition. We were also expected to look after the younger pupils at certain times. I'm currently in a Spanish state school and have been attending it for about one and a half years. In some ways it has been difficult for me; the discipline is not a strong as in my previous school and sometimes it's difficult to work. There is little feeling of belonging, and you don't get a chance to get to know pupils from other years. You can feel quite isolated in your own particular class because there is no inter-class collaboration.
I hope I get used to Spanish school; eight years is a long time specially in my developing years as a child. The two systems have their advantages and disadvantages and l feel privileged to have been part of both of them.

In my opinion there are many important differences between public school and home schooling. My brother and I study in a public school and think it's not only good to have teachers for each subject but also need to have partners who talk every day with you. Students are better prepared when they know different ways of thinking of friends and teachers and we do not copy in exams. I like going to school every day.
ResponderEliminarPaola Ruiz Fernández 2º ESO A.
I think it is better to teach a school, because we would see each teacher to explain their subject in a different way and one teacher in very serious monotone house. And being with other students in class you can share ideas and do group work. And by that I mean I'm in favour of the school.
ResponderEliminarAlba Arenas López 2ºA
I think it is better to have classes at a school because we have direct contact with the teachers explaining their subjects in a different way and one teacher in very serious monotone house. It is also better to be with other students in class because you can share ideas and work in groups. So, I'm in favour of the state school I go to.

I think that public school is better than studying at home, because if we stay at home, we wasn´t make friends. Moreover, I don´t think that we will take our studies seriousty. Also, I think that studients who study in a public School will be better prepared.

ResponderEliminarThere are a lot of ways to study, you can learn at home with your parents, you can study in a public school or at a state school. In our country you can work when you are 16 years old and it is banned when you are younger than 16 years old. Although there are advantages and disadvantages if you study in a state or public school.
ResponderEliminarOn the one hand, students who study in public schools usually have to wear uniforms and children are controlled more than in state schools. Futhermore, in a public school you must pay if you want to enter, so not all the students can study at them, Teachers are selected by the director of the school, not by a neutral organization.
On the other hand, all students can study there, so there are bad and good students. However, you don't have to have a uniform and to enter in it. Moreover, teachers are selected by a neutral organizacion and this is better to learn more,
All in all, you must study hard if you want to work. Although, in my opinion it's better to study in a state school, because it's more competitive.
I think that public schools are better than private schools because private schools you meet more people and teachers teach more.
ResponderEliminarIn private schools, students pay teachers. In public schools don't have to pay. My brother and I study in a public school and we are very happy with the teachers and with the subjects. But I think home schoolings are better than public schools because the teacher come to your home.

ResponderEliminarHome schooling or education at home, was born in USA in the 70s. This trend means taking responsibility for the education of children, both in terms of acquiring knowledge and skills, such as the transmission of values and principles, while none of these functions in educational institutions.
ResponderEliminarAt the beginning of the 90, only 40 families in Spain had opted for this alternative. However, in the last two decades, this movement has grown considerably.
In the Spanish Constitution states that “basic education is compulsory and free.”
This option is chosen, for example, by a bad experience to start small schooling, religious or ideological.
A boarding school is a school where some or all students not only study, they also live there during the school term.
The public school is a public service for all regardless of class, gender, nationality or race and leads to ensure maximum economic level and is free.
People say that studying in a private school is easier than in a public one. However, I cannot have a strong opinion about this because I haven't studied in a private school.

The popularity of home schooling is increasing. In many countries such as United States, Great Britain and Northern European countries home schooling is well established and in many other countries parents are becoming disillusioned with the state education that is provided.
ResponderEliminarOne of the main reasons why parents chose to home school their children because of their religious beliefs. A staggering 84% of people worldwide claim to have a faith and a religious affiliation. They’ve become disenchanted that the state education system in their country does not reflect their beliefs and in some cases are even anti-faith.
One of the main advantages is the amount of freedom in scheduling. Parents will find that they are no longer tied to the school day, term o year timetables. Parents who have done this testify that they have available far more time because of absence of travelling and the flexibility available.
Australia has a long history in home schooling because of the size of the country and the long distances that make travelling to school impossible. A recent survey in Australia tested home school children and discovered that they were learning more than twice as much as their school counter parts. A lot of time is lost in schools in setting up classes and packing up. The survey concluded that 2 hours study at home can easily equate to 6 hours at school.
It is generally considered that home schooled children are well educated, however, one of the more serious negative effects of home schooling is that children can miss out on the opportunity to interact with other children. This can afffect their development socially as they do not learn how to communicate or behave in group settings. This is obviously a vital skill in living and working as an adult.
ResponderEliminarFor me, I think home schooling would more interesting because a teacher would to our house and the students doesn't distractedand they could take better notes.
A boarding school is a school where the students study and live during the school year. The parents must pay to the boarding school. The people living most of his childhood and adolescence away from their parents, despite having the opportunity to go home during holidays and vacations.
For some years there are families in Spain who decided to have the responsibility to educate their children at home. However I think the quality of that education may not be the same as that offered by teachers who have studied and trained to teach future men of society. For example, parents can't teach English or French if they don't have good training in grammar or pronunciation.
ResponderEliminarMoreover these children relate to others their age and learn the rules of running a school and its teachers. I met a boy who was educated at home and after a few years he asked his parents to go to school because he needed to have friends and social relationships.
As for boarding schools are schools that have residence where you live, eat, study and sleep.
Most people think it is better that it is better to study in a private school because the antention is more personal and better learn the language, but I defend the public school where teenagers study more to get good grades and the teachers are very well formed.
Paola Ruiz Fernández 3º ESO A
I think that public schools are better than the private schools because in the private schools father of students have to pay but in the public schools don´t. I´m in a plublic schools because the teachers of my school taught me well subjects. I think that the person of private schools are believed . But I think home schoolings are better than public schools because the teacher come to your home.
ResponderEliminarFrancisco García García 3ESO B
In my opinion, public schools are much better than private schools because in then, you don't have to pay and you can do more friends. In the public schools there are a lot of types of people: people who don't have much money for live, people who have a lot of money, people who is nice, cheeful, nervious, mean, sensitive......well, a lot of types of people.
ResponderEliminarAbout the private schools, I think that you learn the same things than in one public school. There are a few differences in relation to the public schools: you have to pay for studying in it and you have to wear an uniform when you are going to class. Often, fathers send their children to private schools because their children suffer bullies in the public school. Usually, the people who is in a private school, are the children of very rich persons who have companies, who are famous, or things like this.
I think home schooling is the best way to study because the teacher arrives at your home and you only have to wait in the table for start your lessons. In home schooling you are more relaxed and more quiet than in public or private school. Home school is the dream of a lot of students in the actuallity.
Joaquín Alejandro España Sánchez 3ES.B
I think that the people who are victims of bullies or other problems at school, they and their parents prefer go to private schools and mainly the people who have a lot of money, the richest people. Private schools give too many advantages, but disadvantages too. For example, to stay at a private school, you have to pay too much money for the tuition and you must have high marks.
ResponderEliminarHowever, at state schools there are the people who haven't many economic resources, there are more people for this reason and you can make more friends, and you don’t need such high marks, because public schools have to admit everyone. You can wear the clothes that you want and the timetables are better.
About home schooling, it sounds good that the teacher goes to your home, you can change the timetables, you have a teacher who teaches only you, and when you do an exam you aren’t nervous…
Boarding school is a school at which the pupils receive meals and accommodation as well as an education. In Spanish it means “internado”
In my opinion, it doesn’t matter the school where you are, the important is if you want study or not. Both private and state schools, if you want to study, are a good option for you. I’m at a state school and I’m happy without problems.

ResponderEliminarHomeschooling, also known as home education, is the education of children inside the home, as opposed to in the formal settings of a public or private school. Home education is usually conducted by a parent or tutor. Despite the name, only a portion of home education may be delivered in the family home, with the rest provided within the local community or else where . Many families that start out with a formal school structure at home often switch to less formal and, in their view, more effective ways of imparting education outside of school, and many prefer the term "home education" to the more prevalently used "homeschooling". "Homeschooling" is the term commonly used in North America, whereas "home education" is more commonly used in the United Kingdom, elsewhere in Europe, and in many Commonwealth countries.
ResponderEliminarI think the homeschooling are better than states schools because in home you can prevent the bullying and insults to the adolescent. Though If you want study, you study in anywhere.
Raisa Martín 3ºESO B
Homeschooling, also known as home education, is the education of children inside the home, as opposed to in the formal settings of a public or private school. Home education is usually conducted by a parent or tutor.omeschools use a wide variety of methods and materials. Families, for a variety of reasons (parent education, finances, educational philosophies, future educational plans, where they live, past educational experiences of the child, child’s interests and temperament) choose different educational methods, which represent a variety of educational philosophies and paradigms. Some of the methods used include Classical education. Homeschooling is legal in some countries. Countries with the most prevalent home education movements include Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Some countries have highly regulated home education programs as an extension of the compulsory school system; others, such as Sweden and Germany, have outlawed it entirely. Brazil has a law project in process. In other countries, while not restricted by law, homeschooling is not socially acceptable or considered desirable and is virtually non-existent.
ResponderEliminarHome schooling is a type of education that educates childrens in their own house. People use this type of education because parents think that this type of education is the best for their children or they live too far from the school.
ResponderEliminarThe advanteges are that the children don't have to leave their homes, parents can give the education they want. The disadvantege is that the children don't socialized with other children. Countries that are allowed to do the home schooling are Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Countries that are not allowed this are Sweden and Germany.
All in all, I think home schooling is an interesting thing that should be allowed in more countries. However, I personally prefer the normal school, because children socialized with others.

Home schooling is the education of children inside the home. Either a tutor teaches the chidren or his father or mother. In my opinion, home schooling is a good solution if you you hate going to shcool for several reasons, such as students teasing you. The good thing of home schooling is that you don't have to get up early and maybe you have to do less homework. But the bad thing is that you don't have as many friends as a student at a state school.
ResponderEliminarState schools are also called public schools outside the UK, generally to refer to primary or secondary schools. Almost all students come to state schools, because you don't have to pay.
Private schools are schools where childen whose parents are rich usually go. They're good because they have a high level of English, but you must wear a uniform and you have to study more at a state school.
A boarding school is a school where pupils study and live during the school year. Usually. they go there because they're bad students or their parents haven't much time to care for them, so they send their children to borading schools.
I hate boarding schools! I reckon teachers are very strict with pupils.
I'm at a state school and I think that it doesn't matter where you are if you want to study.
In my opinion the home schooling are is am support of fathers who should know more to educate childrens because if a teacher or father doesn't have experience are not educated properly.
ResponderEliminarThe state schools usually refers to private schools in England where educate is free for people.
The public schools refers to group of more old, and more expensive and exclusive starting from 13 to 18 years.
Boarding school is a school where people study throughout the year without having to go home with more luxury, and where they live and eat during that time.
Differences in United States:
State school is a colloquial term for the state university, a college or university in a state university. The public school refers to primary and secondary schools are funded and / or operated by a governmental entity.
JOSE JULIAN RODRIGUEZ ORTIZ 3º A
In England what we would call public schools, that is school provided by the government, actually refers to private schools; and government provided schools are known as state schools. This can be a bit confusing to us here in Spain, because also in the USA they call government schools public schools.
ResponderEliminarThere are many public schools in Great Britain. It is often a difficult choose your parents to decide whether to send their children to public or state schools. Some people feel that discipline is better in public schools than in state schools, but this is not always true. The public schools in Great Britain often have a large proportion of overseas pupils and parents might feel that this offers an opportunity to their children of widening their experience and getting to know other people for other cultures.
The biggest difference of course is that state school is free and all the pupils have the right to go there; they can´t refuse you a place. Whereas, the public schools with the best reputations can be really expensive and sometimes there is a lot of competition for places.
I went to public school for ten years and there were a lot of good things about it but I am in state school now and I enjoy that too. I think people should think carefully about their choice, because every person is different and they have different needs.

Nowadays, a lot of children of primary school study at home. Their parents have decided this kind of educatio due to several reason. Obviously there are some advantages and disadvantages.
ResponderEliminarFirstly, children who study at home, have several advantages over other students. For example, they can choose their own timetable to work. Additionally, this can strengthen the relationship between parents and children, which can facilitate way to learn. Besides this, parents can improve the learning environment in order to facilitate learning
On the other hands, some parents who teach their children aren't professionals. For that reason, some children at reach high levels of education have a lot of deficiencies.Another disadvantage is that your children not share time with their friends so they will have distanced them.
In conclusion, it seen to me that children who study at home can have some problems to be connected with other children when they have to go to high school.
