ResponderEliminarIn this moments the highschool Mediterráneo it's taking a lot of precautions to the covid. Now you need to sign a paper to enter the bathroom and you have to close the door with key. A lot of teachers are asking if a emergencie to go to the bathroom. The bathroom of the second plant are closed, I heard the students talk about this, most people tell what people smoke in the bathroom. This precautions are necesaries to stop smoking and don't take the risk to take the coronavirus.

With the situation of the pandemic and the lockdown , there are fewer people on the streets and cars on the roads as well as bussinesses closed so, it is evident that the daily noise of our lives has been reduced.
ResponderEliminarExperts say that silent is part of our life , in fact, that peace and quiet is one of the best reason for tourists to visit the country. Moreover, silent is a resource you can´t find everywhere in the world so, if you are in a peaceful place just listen the nature , the sound of the birds and enjoy what surrounds you.
The calm of the city that there is right now , allows us to hear sounds that we usually do not hear because of the traffic or city noise. But not only the silent of the city has changed but also nature. Many people talk about having seen exotic animals that we did not see before and it is precisely because of this emptiness in the streets .
In my opinion I like this extra silent we have now and it is something we should appreciate more .
I believe We live a situation in the Instituto IES Mediterraneo that isn't normal due to the pandemic. You have to sign on a piece of paper, take the keys, enter the service and then close the door and leave the keys. All the teachers ask you if it is an emergency for avoid that we go so many to the service and we go as little as possible I understand that we are in a time of pandemic and that decisions and protocols must be made and that the bathrooms are used well but the bathrooms cannot be put so the services must always be open with a good use of them.
ResponderEliminarNow the pandemic is improving there are more vaccinated and the infected and deaths are decreasing and we are already closer to this ending and we return to the normality of always and that is soon.
We have to continue and soon there will be fewer restrictions and now the curfew will be removed and more will be able to go out and if this ends.

We can't notice it, but Covid-19 is still among us and a lot of people are worried about it. The situation in India is terrifying and the number of deaths is increasing. People are desperate and the government is not taking enough measures.
ResponderEliminarIn India, a new, much more contagious variant of covid has appeared. This new variant especially affects young people and is causing thousands of deaths daily. It is not very clear how this situation has come about, but the government has probably not taken the appropriate measures. In fact, he announced that the situation was under control, but a few days later the situation got completely out of control.
The hospitals are running out of oxygen and bodies are stacking up in morgues. New cases are reported every day and people are accumulate outside the hospitals trying to get oxygen and a bed. Fortunately, countries around the world have sent an avalanche of emergency medical supplies to the country.
To sum up, India has living a terrifying situation that has generate millions of deaths. In my opinion, we should try to send aid to the countries that need it and not forget that covid-19 is still here.
Fortunately, things are going better because there are already many people vaccinated against COVID-19. But, the problem isn´t solved at all since the vaccine is not yet 100% effective, and there are still people in Spain who don´t have it. We have been very lucky to be able to attend classes during this year, and all of us, students and teachers, are working hard and doing our best.
ResponderEliminarToday, finally, the state of alarm has ended and there is no curfew. We must work together so that we can continue with our normal lives as soon as possible. There are still many people who aren´t aware of this problem. Last night, in some neighbourhoods of the big cities there were crowds of people and the distances weren´t respected. We must continue to be careful because although there isn´t a curfew now, there is still COVID.
During the months that we were in quarantine, the polluted air in the cities became very clean, since we couldn't get out of our houses, we didn't drive anywhere. This was a positive aspect of the quarantine because it helped nature a lot. Flowers that hadn´t grown for a long time returned, or animals that were hidden came out. We have already proved that in a few months many positive changes can be made for the environment.
I look forward to the moment when the Coronavirus goes away… It won´t be necessary to go with a facemask on the street, we will be able to give hugs, and also to attend concerts and parties... It´s a hard time especially for young people because we are missing many incredible experiences and moments. But we cannot forget that there are people who are passing away, or who have a really bad time with the virus.
Fortunately, the covid-19 are going better and slowly everything will be as before. The state alarm had finished yesterday, the progress of vacunation it should be better but everything will come in time, we will not remove the masks when we are all vaccinated. Yesterday night with the endding of the state alarm, people he dumped in crowds and without masks into the streets without any security measures This is one thing to avoid if we do not want to go back to how we were before the alarm state was removed.
ResponderEliminarPeople have to be aware because the state must have to turn the alarm state and the restricctions will come back because people do not want this to be like that again because it is a very uncomfortable thing. In the months of the quarantine the country have been less polluted, because we cannot leave our houses and mobility was restricted.
I really want everything to be the same again and that we go back to giving each other hugs, kisses and others and that we remove our masks, if we want this it will happen as soon as possible, but we have to be aware and overcome this situation little by little.
Antonio Fermín Carrascosa Megías 4ºA
In the Institute there can be many problems, such as fights, expulsions ...
ResponderEliminarNow they have put a new regulation, and that is, you have to sign to enter the bathroom, and they always ask if it is an emergency. I do not see well that they have put the number of Sign to go to the bathroom, because, for example, there is a child who is ill and wants to vomit, while signing the paper, they give him the key or whatever, the boy can make you vomit before entering because it could not hold.
Although on the other hand the teachers are right saying that there are people who really smoke in the bathrooms, and that if they should not be allowed.
I only think that they do or possible because there is no contagion.
Dunia Arnedo Martin 2ºA
This virus is already coming to an end since the vaccination is giving good results but it is not entirely effective, there are still many people who have not been vaccinated and I hope it will be as soon as possible so that the virus does not affect them in the same way than a few months ago.
ResponderEliminarIf all the people of this world do our part to end all this we can stop it as soon as possible or else control it more than we have it.
Our institute is not going through a good time due to COVID since at recess we cannot get together with other people from other classes, we must maintain a safe distance, we must wear a mask until the virus disappears so we are not enjoying quite as we should.
Hopefully the time will come when all this has passed and we return to our life before, for this we must follow all the rules because even if they have removed the curfew it does not mean that many people meet or that we have illegal parties because if we do not make the situation even worse and go back all that we have advanced all this time.
Now, we are vaccinating fast than before. We can vaccinate many people before the summer starts. But we have got less vaccines now, because European Union won't renovate the contract with AstraZeneca, because they haven't sent to Europe the vaccines enough. European Union is buying more vaccines of other pharmaceuticals and so Europe will have vaccines enough.
ResponderEliminarThe pandemic has proved the doctor's level and the capacity of beat problem's planet. Europe wants AstraZeneca's vaccine because is more inexpensive and now we know is better other vaccines as Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson and Johnson, they are more safer. Always we can see the vaccine's advantages and we must know choose the best.

COVID-19 is something that is difficult for me to see an end to. We have been with this pandemic for more than a year and it will not be left alone in that time but continues. COVID-19 has limited us in many different aspects, last year was very hard academically and mentally, since it was difficult to be teaching from home and being able to not saturate the situation we had. Last year we were in a situation that we were not able to understand, since no one was going to think that at some point in our life we would be like this but we have reached the point of seeing that all this is our day to day.
ResponderEliminarNow we are beginning to see that there is less left but it is still difficult to see the end. People are getting vaccinated, there are already many people vaccinated but not enough for this to end. In addition, the vaccine does not make you totally immune and less to all the strains that are coming out all over the world. So we are in a very difficult situation and we are going to have to do a lot of our part to make this end at once.
Right now the situation in India is critical, because this pandemic is doing a lot of damage. Yesterday's data are 323,000 infections and 3,200 deaths. But what is this amount of contagion due to?
ResponderEliminarThe answer is that they celebrated the festival of colors, this festival that they celebrate symbolizes the end of winter and the beginning of spring. From here on, the pandemic spread throughout India, crematories are not enough and families have to burn their families in parking lots.
Hospitals are saturated, and they do not have oxygen, in the street the relatives of those affected go with oxygen cylinders, passing from one to one of those affected the little oxygen that there is, because Covid-19 kills by suffocation and is a painful and slow death.
I hope the situation in India and European countries down help this country, which is very affected.

ResponderEliminarthe covid situation seems to be improving in many regions of the world, or so we believe, but we must not let our guard down as we never know if things will get worse.
ResponderEliminarHere in Spain the curfew has been lifted and that means that things are going well but what happened on the 9th of May for me is an incredible shame because the virus has not gone away like Maradona, the virus is still here and we have to be as responsible as possible, but people do not take it seriously and do not stop having parties and drinking binges and I think that this is a bad attitude on the part of everyone.
I hope they don't lock us up again and that people think about their actions because we are all doing our part to make this end and people are getting worse and worse, I want normality to return like everyone else and to be able to enjoy ourselves well but now we have to be responsible.
Covid is already much better, since there are many people vaccinated and those vaccines are still not 100% effective, but although people are being vaccinated, we must not forget that there is still Covid because many people already vaccinated give it less importance and they remove the mask ... and it cannot be done since you can catch the virus since it is not 100% effective.
ResponderEliminarA few days ago they removed the curfew and that is good since it means that everything is improving, although the day they removed the curfew many teenagers met, and that is not right since even if there is no curfew there is Covid. and everyone wanted to remove the curfew but that does not mean that we can do what we want, since we have to look out for those people who are having a hard time, for the families who have lost relatives ...
We must continue to respect the rules so that we can get out of this.
We have been lucky to be able to go the whole course in person, since other institutes have been face-to-face, for me it has been better since in person I attend more and learn more, since otherwise I did not concentrate, I dystria more and would not learn anything.

ResponderEliminarFortunately, for now the infections are more controlled, since they have begun to vaccinate, and it is giving a good sign since there are fewer infections than a few months ago, but this does not mean that we return to normal life, since the problem is not from the all resolved since the vaccine is not yet 100% effective and there are still people in Spain who do not have it.
ResponderEliminarIn India, a new, much more contagious variant of covid has emerged. The situation in India is terrifying and the number of deaths is on the rise.
Two weeks ago the alarm state ended and there is no curfew, which means that the situation has improved. Two weekends ago in some neighborhoods of the big cities there were crowds of people and distances were not respected. We have to be aware that the problem has not yet been solved, since we are not vaccinated yet, that although there is no state of alarm or curfew, the covid is still there. We have to bear in mind that even if the restrictions have been removed, the infections and the situation gets out of control again, they can put them back.
In the months of the quarantine, the country has been less polluted, because we cannot leave our homes and mobility was restricted. This was a positive aspect of the quarantine because it helped nature a lot.
We must work together to be able to continue with our normal life as soon as possible. For this we must follow all the rules. And we must not forget that the covid is still among us.
We are all having a very bad time with the Coronavirus, whether it is due to sick people, hospitalized people, deceased people, because of the protocols that people do not stop breaking or because of the thousands of causes that have caused this situation.
ResponderEliminarIn order to deal with this situation we must be more united than ever and in our institute IES MEDITERRANEO we give our best to achieve it. Although there are still people who ignore these recommendations.
These people who ignore the recommendations and protocols that have been imposed by the Coronavirus, are not at all aware of how damaging their actions are for everyone else, and they continue to be irresponsible despite seeing the consequences of the acts of people like them.
In conclusion, we must all be a little more responsible and aware of our actions and try to do our best to put an end to this terrible situation in which we find ourselves. And for this it is necessary to comply with the rules and protocols that are imposed.

We are currently living a strange situation at IES mediterraneo. But the school is complying with all the covid precautionary measures. It is difficult to comply with all the measures, even so, all of us are trying it.
ResponderEliminarAlthough it is not being easy, there is less left for this situation to end, and more and more people are being vaccinated. Covid infections are also decreasing every week.
There is little left until the end of the course and we are all excited to go to the beach or go out with friends.
Fortunately, the state has removed the state of alarm and there aren't so many restrictions, but we should continue to wear the mask and disinfect our hands.
In conclusion, there is less left for this situation to end and we must continue to comply with the measures.

We have less left to end the virus because there are many people who have already been vaccinated and little by little we will all be vaccinated and we will be able to continue doing things we did before without having to wear a mask or without being able to meet all your friends for the maximum capacity.

ResponderEliminarWe don´t have to think that everyone is against us, we have to make an effort, study and do the best we can. High school is one more stage, its purpose is to make us better people, and to achieve our goals not to give us more problems, although nobody says that it is easy since it takes effort and perseverance.
ResponderEliminarIn our institute it is true that we have all known each other for many years, and we always try to help each other, and even if we do not realize it, the teachers care more than we think. They always try to cheer us up, they give us advice for the future and they always do their best to get us the best possible grade, such as making recoveries if a test goes wrong, since they understand us when we are overwhelmed or have a bad day.
This year is something different since with the COVID we are more distanced to comply with the protocol, we cannot go abroad for excursions, although the light is already being seen at the end of Tunisia.
To sum up, we have to surround ourselves with people who make us better people and help us grow, who always try to support us and get the best out of us. We should not close ourselves to meeting new people as they may surprise us and learn a little from everyone.
Nuria Díaz
The situation in India has been extremely critical. The country has reported an average of 200,000 deaths caused by a coronavirus, although the real number of fatalities is believed to be higher. In just a week there were registered at least 300,000 infections every day. Oxygen was rare, which made it difficult for people at hospitals.
ResponderEliminarAs far as vaccination goes, India is carrying out the world’s biggest vaccination drive, but less than 10% of the population has so far received the first jab. It is because the country is one of the most populated countries in the world. Other countries like the USA is helping them with raw materials. One vaccine is made there, in the Serum Institute of India.
What is about the government? It launched a website in which people can register for vaccinations, but it crashed soon after it was launched since tens of thousands of people try to access it. Indeed, there is a wave of increasing anger towards both state authorities and the central government for the handling of the pandemic. The PM has been accused of ignoring scientific warnings.
Finally, I think that the situation in India is currently more stable, although the need for some help to reach a normal situation. In Spain, the situation is better every day due to the vaccination system. By the way, my father has been called to be vaccinated next week.
Nowadays we are having a lot of tough moments because of different problems, like some difficulties in the studies or other personal problems, but we mustn't think that the secondary school is only to give us more and more problems, that we only need to study and do it well in the exams and teachers don't have to worry about us, because all of these a big lie, we don't need to think that the world is against us.
ResponderEliminarOur secondary school is like a big family, and all our teachers worry about us and they think about us more than we think, when they see that we are sad or that we aren't cheerful, they usually ask us what happens to us and they also try to solve our problems, we aren't only there to study, we are there to build up our future, and to make different friendship and not only with other students, we can make a friendship with our teachers, for example, I've known some teachers since I entered the secondary school and now I can say that we are friends.
This year is very different from other years, we have a quieter world, in the school, for example, we aren't so united as other years because of COVID protocol, but this isn't only in the school we also are having a quieter world in our day to day life, for example, when we were in the lockdown we could see on TV images of different animals, like deer, foxes, wild boars or wolves, that went into the cities, because of the reduction of pollution that we made when we stopped using our cars and the world was practically stopped.
In conclusion, we need to believe in all the people around us, because all of them try to help us, and we need to make different friendships, and we need to be in contact with a lot of people. Regarding to the quieter world that we have now, I think that it can be better with this world, because we were contaminating a lot we were living our normal live. We need to get used to a new life a life without so much pollution.

It is difficult to see the end of this pandemic that started last year and is still going on. With the invention of the vaccine, it seems that we can see the light at the end of this tunnel, but we have to go calmly.
ResponderEliminarThe vaccine is not 100% viable, although there are many people vaccinated, there is still a long time for this to end.
In secondary school it's true that most of us have known each other for many years and last year along with this year has been very difficult. High school is a very important phase in our life that will affect our future and I think we have to take it very seriously. It is very difficult in the situation we are in, but the teachers support and help us and so do the classmates.
We really are all like a family and although sometimes it's not noticed the teachers always try to help us, support us when an exam does not go well because we all have bad days and in short this hasn't been my best year.
I think that this will end and in a little time we will begin a new phase that will be better.
Recently researchs shows that India is experiencing a very hard time due to the covid-19.
ResponderEliminarAll this was because of the celebration of a typical party that have caused 323,000 infections and 3,200 deaths.
The situation was critical people are dying due to the worst situation of the sanity in the country and the shortage the oxygen tanks.
I hope that European countries can provide them help, there are so many people that are dying unnecesary and with some help they probably have a sort of luck to passed this bad times.
I truly believe that with some help India will improve their situation and come back to the normally again.
During the lockdown, everything stopped. Nobody used the car or the bus and the factories didn’t work the same. This was like a big pause.
ResponderEliminarThe nature (animals and plants) needed this pause. There are lot of people that live in this planet. Humans pollute the Earth every day driving the car, throwing rubbish, wasting water and energy or using sprays. As we can see, simple things can be dangerous for the nature. We can find a manner that humans are good and the planet isn’t damaged.
After this, I hope that people think about all the things that we can do to help the environment, because there is no planet B.
Leo Maldonado
We're all a family at IES Mediterráneo!!!
ResponderEliminarMore than a year later, and although there are fewer restrictions, we are still in the middle of the pandemic. Despite the fear of going back to schools and high schools, the centers have been safe places.
However, covid 19 continues killing people and therefore we have to continue taking precautionary measures. Above all, we young people, must be mature and responsible. We cannot relax because the lives of many people, especially grandparents, are at stake.
On the other hand, this pandemic has given our planet a break. we have been able to see how pollution levels dropped and how wild animals approached our cities and coasts. This should make us think about the human impact on the environment, the pace of life we lead daily and what is truly important in our lives.
