Long live the King!!! But who's the king? There are many kings as you will see in minute: in politics, in sport, in music... and something is for certain kings don't live for ever and we are all kings in a way.

A King is a person who used to rule a country, or even many of them. Nowadays, there are countries who has a King, for example, Spain. The difference between the kings from the Middle Ages and those kings I mentioned, is that the actual kings has less power, or even none, and the Middle Ages ones had the totality of it.
ResponderEliminarBut today, I´ll link these kings with a recent holiday, Christmas. It is really beautiful holiday, full of hapiness and hope. All countries celebrate this in a different way, but all of them have something in common, someone or something gives the kids presents. In Spain, the tradition says that The Three Wise Men comes every night of January 5th. They are called Gaspar, Melchor and Baltasar, and the story tells that these kings came from the east to give Jesus 3 presents when he was born. Every year, they come to Spain carried by camels to give kids presents.
In other countries, presents are given by all kind of things. For example: In Portugal and England, Santa Claus originally broght the presents, in Italy it was the Befania Witch, in Germany The Christmas Granny and in Finland, it is a goat!
In summary, there are many different kinds of kings, from despots, which had slaves instead of citizens, to really kind ones, which give kids presents every year.

In different fields and at different times there have been different types of kings. As in music, sports such as soccer, basketball, tennis, etc; kitchen and car drivers. And many more somewhat less important professions.

Since the 2006 Playoffs, Cleveland was always present in the NBA finals until his departure from the franchise in 2010.
Johan Cruyff is one of the best players in the football´s history, Johan Cruyff has played in the Ayax FC, this is a holland team and is a good team at european level.

ResponderEliminarEach person could have many kings, but I am sure that none of us agree on all of them, that is where most of the fights come from today, each one defends his king and they will never give in to saying that the other is better beacause if you admire him so much it's for a reason.
ResponderEliminarWe have always had our idols and we have always dreamed of seeing them sometime in our lives, talking with them, simply letting them know that we exist because they are our reference and have made us change in many aspects and make us look like them as much as possible.
But I have always thought that our greatest king, the one who has helped us the most and the one who has taken us to where we are right now, is close to us every day, in our house, and I think that is the only reason why we underestimate, some parents will always be our greatest support and our greatest help that we will always have, and there are times that we do not realize that, and it is a pity.

We call them King in their fields because they are the best in what they do, for example you can be the king in football, basketball, tennis..., but not only in sports because we can also say that someone is a king in music or other different things or activities.
ResponderEliminarWell, that is now, because in the past the only king that existed was the king who ruled the country. Before, there were kings in almost all countries at least in our continent, Europe. There was a king, for example, in England, in France, in Greece or in Spain. And there are some countries that still have a king like Greece or here in Spain, that we still have a king, Felipe VI, whose father is Juan Carlos I, his father was also a king, but he didn't get the crown.
In this field, we have today some problems, because there are people who want that figure, who rule the country, to dissapear because they think that he doesn't do anything. That is true in some part because now the king has a lot less power and duties, that is because the politicians have adquired some of them, so he doesn't have to do a lot of things. For this reason we are nowadays in a democracy and not in a monarchy.
Finally, as a conclusion, I think that is something good we have a king, a best person, doing something because it can motivate a lot of people to compete to try to get this title. In the case of the king in politics, I think that he still have some important things to do and that it still needs to exist the figure of a king to deal with the other countries.

In football there are a lot of people as the fans call king, depends on which player you like better, some people call king to Pelé, Maradona, Messi but my king is Cristiano Ronaldo. I think that Cristiano is the best player of this sport, and he is the player with more goals of the history.
In other sport the kings are Michael Jordan, who is a legend of the basket. Right now the king of basket is Lebron James, who is the new Michael Jordan some people says that he is better then Jordan. In indoor football the King is Ricardinho, who is of Portugal. In cycling the king right now is Pogacar.
In summary, the word king usually is used for name the people that rules a country hereditary. But we can see that with that word we can refering to person who are the best in one sport. Other king in Spain are Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar that are the three kings that gave a presents to Jesus when he was born.
There are a lot of football players who became legends. In the case of Johan Cruyff, he marked a milestone in the history of FC Barcelona and the football in general.
ResponderEliminarHe was born in Amsterdam in 1947 and he was playing in Ajax until 1973. He started to play in Barça this year. After a few years, he went to play to other teams like New York Cosmos, Levante and Feyenoord of Roterdam. He won different competitions such as La Liga, Copa del Rey, Eredivisie and three Ballon d’Or.
He was a good player and also a good manager. He was a manager of Ajax and then of FC Barcelona. In this period, Barça was called the Dream Team. Some famous players like Laudrup, Romario, Koeman, Stoitchkov and Guardiola were there. Cruyff’s team won the Champions League in Wembley in 1992.
All FC Barcelona fans remember this team that was incredible. Cruyff became a legend as a player and as a manager. His legacy will be always an inspiration for the people that love football.

For me, Johan Cruyff is one of the most important and influential people in the history of Barça.
ResponderEliminarHe had two magnificent careers, one as a player and the other as a coach. He is one of the best players in history because he could occupy all three attacking possitions in the same game. It should also be noted that he won three Champions Leagues with Ajax and three Ballon d´or.
Without a doubt, his most memorable stage is when he was a coach of Barça, there he made great advances for football, such as making the goalkeeper play with his feet or creating the position of lateral defense.
It was unfortunate that he died so early because he still had a lot to contribute to football. Currently, in my opininion, the coach who has followed his philosophy the most is Pep Guardiola.
Only time will tell if there is another coach like him.

I am going to talk about Johan Cruyff, he was a football player for FC Barcelona, I believe he was the best player and coach of FC Barcelona. In his professional career as a football player he was the best midfield player when he played for FC Barcelona and Ajax.
ResponderEliminarHe won a lot of titles with some club, he won five Netherland's cup, three champions league and supercup with Ajax, after he won one Spanish cup and ligue cup with FC Barcelona where he played his best football.
He retired and he started as a coach in Ajax, he improved the players who was in the youth academy of Ajax and then he was the coach of FC Barcelona where he was the best coach of the club.
Finally, in my opinion Johan Cruyff marked a stage in the football as a player and as a coach, he improved the style of the game and nowadays a lot of clubs try to play his style.
He was the best in his period because he won all titles and three golden globes.

ResponderEliminarIf we talk about good soccer players, we have to mention Johan Cruyff, a former FC Barcelona player of Dutch nationality. This player has had an incredible career throughout his life, both with the club and with the national team.
EliminarThe former Netherlands player won many titles throughout his career, such as three Ballon d'Ors and three European Cups. The player was characterized by his agility and his shooting power was a great help in the team's attack and he was always there when he needed to help his team win the game.
In 1984, after retiring as a player, Cruyff became coach of Ajax and won two Dutch Cups and one European Cup Winners' Cup, later he would become coach and honorary president of F. C. Barcelona, a club for which he was influential in the team.
In all these years there have been few players like him, some like Pele, Maradona or Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo are the only ones who have been able to overcome him but none more.

A King is a person who controls a kingdom, this is the supreme charge in a state. The power of a King is hereditary (it means if a King dies his older son will be the next King). The King has the same function that a president of a country, in the past the King commanded in a kingdom but un the present we have a goverment.
