BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

People calling out your name...

That is the time when you've reached the summit, but if they keep on doing that for years, that means that you've become a legend and you'll never die as you will stay in the people's hearts for ever.

As our Spanish writer Garcilaso de la Vega said, it is not just a matter of becoming a legend, but of not being forgotten by your kin and people around you when you pass away.

Here's my musical hint for today: Calling out your name by Rich Mullins. Here's a version with the lyrics for you to check!

Here are some activities for you to do:

  1. I want to share why Curly, my dog, is so special to me.

Curly is always there to greet me when I come home. His wagging tail and happy barks make me feel loved and welcome.

We have so much fun together! Whether we play fetch in the park or go for long walks, Curly always makes my day brighter.

Curly also comforts me when I'm sad. He knows how to cuddle and make me feel better, showing me that he truly cares.

I love Curly because he is my best friend and brings joy to my life. I don't know what I would do without him!

  4. I would love to travel to a temple or castle. I have always wanted to see what they were like inside in person. For example, the Alhambra, because I find that place exciting, especially because it was built by the Arabs many centuries ago. But I can't go now due to financial problems.

  7. There are many celebrations and festivals that everyone does, for example, Halloween. But in the Muslim religion we are not allowed to have these parties, not Christmas, not Halloween, and not Easter. They say that they are only made so that decoration, candy and costume companies can take advantage of them. Although we do not have all these parties or festivals, there are also some that we are obliged to do: the feast of the sheep and Ramadan. Unlike the parties here, the ones we have do not need decorations, candy and costumes.
