BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

Human speeches

Last week I came across with these HUMAN stories and I think they are worthwhile listening to them.

Francine's interview - FRANCE - #HUMAN

I was so captivated by these human speeches that I decided to use them in my blog with the intention of making my students conscious of what is really important in life and how people can be really influenced by real human stories apart from Tiktokers or Youtubers or whatever we have in social media.

Listening to these ordinary people you will discover how differently many people surrounding us behave. People who are supposedly our leaders and who have the power in their hands, with thousands of supporters or followers. It is up to us to decide who deserves our attention and interest.

Road towards success in the new PAU (Selectivity exam)

As you know, I'm very keen on music, but honestly I don't like the Eurovision contest at all. Actually, I haven't seen it for years and, apart from the music style,  I believe it is a fake musical contest. Again this year the event is said to have been a complete masquerade. Here are some articles for you to read about the issue:

And remember the case of Spain some years ago with Chikilicuatre, who we had one of the best results in the latest years with:

  1. SHORT MONOLOGUE
    Hello,
My name is Andrea and I'm going to tell you about my experience in the zoo. Once I went to the zoo with my family, I was looking at the animals when my father told me about the dolphins next to me. I went to see the dolphins and my sister told me about swimming with them, I thought that was good and my sister and I went swimming with the dolphins, although my father didn't like it. Then, we got in the pool and some dolphins bit me.

  2. Greetings!
I'm Adelin and I'm here to talk about my experience in Gibraltar and its natural sentinel,The Rock of Gibraltar. When I got in Gibraltar,at first sight I could see the gigantic rock that took my breath away,I just felt tiny beside it.When my father said that we need to reach the top by foot,I told him we would collapse from fatigue until we will get up there. He didn't listen to me and we started climbing the stairs,at first,it wasn't that bad,but after one hour of only walking,we were struggling to reach the top without falling from thirst or fatigue. After enduring one more hour and a half,we finally got up there and we could see the Mediterranean Sea stretching out in front of us,and the wonderful landscape which included a fairly large part of Africa which could be seen in the distance.

  3. MY SPEECH
Hello, I’m Leo and I’m here to talk you about my experience in Salamanca, and the enormous monuments in Salamanca and it’s history. When I get in Salamanca, the firt thing I did was goint to one of the most oldest universities in Spain, the Universitie of Salamanca. The history of his Universitie is that it was made in 1218 by the king Alfonso IX of Leon. Its has got mora than 800 years of history. Its was created from a fex schools, and later, they made this huge Univertisty. When the night came out, we went to the Main Park (or square) and have some diner, but the restaurants went full, because it was to late, so we had to leave the Main Square and went to a restaurant that was near there, it was delicious and the menues were incredibles, ohh, I almost forgot, the Main Square was REALLY REALLY big, it was beautifull with a lot of decorations and lights, one of the best places for me in Salamanca. Later, me adn my family went to Avila to visit it, I loved it but we did’t had much time. The next day, we went to the house and that’ was all our journey.

  7. Hello guys, I have got something to tell you... I just lost my phone in Molvizar and I'm really stressed out. I was at the bus stop waiting for the bus and I think I left it on the bench. I've been trying to call it but it's switched off, so I don't know if someone's picked it up or if it is just gone for good. I am really worried because I had all my contacts and photos on it. I have asked around but nobody is seen it, so I am starting to lose hope. Has anyone else ever lost their phone in Molvizar or anywhere else? It is so frustrating not knowing what to do.
