Are our teenagers' bedrooms suitable for what they have to do? Can they study properly? Can they sleep well? I'm afraid not. And that is the main cause of the problems they have nowadays to concentrate, to rest, to study... What is your bedroom like?

Project on A Christmas Carol by Martín Toledo (4º ESO A)

In my opinion is very important to have the bedroom tidy for some reasons, for instance: study and sleep well. When everything is clean and good around you, you can concentrate and do things better than you usually do. Almost that is my opinion.
ResponderEliminarI have been reading about this and my opinion is true. A clear environment reduces stress and anxiety, improves concentration and mental clarity, and facilitates deeper, more restful sleep. While clutter causes distractions and depletes cognitive resources.
In conclusion, if you don't have a tidy room, you will have to do it because it helps you a lot in your studies and to sleep better.

Hi! Today I'm going to talk about my room.
ResponderEliminarI like to have tidy my room because I'm very organized.
Having a tidy room gives you a good atmosphere both to study and to sleep at night.
It's also easier to find things when everything is in place.

“Hi everyone, thanks for taking my call. I’d say I’m a mix of a thoughtful and experience-driven photographer. I usually take photos of fun activities I’m doing, especially when I’m out living something memorable. I’m not in a rush when I shoot — I like to take my time and wait until everything feels just right.
ResponderEliminarIf a photo doesn’t work, I don’t just delete it. I stop and think about what went wrong and try to learn from it. When I travel somewhere new, I take lots of photos to really remember the experience, not just one perfect shot.
In the end, photography is both personal and social for me. I enjoy reflecting on my images, but I also like sharing them on social media, because photos are a way of telling stories and connecting with other people.”

Hello! Today we finish the day with a comment.
ResponderEliminarInternet is a revolution that was born in 1983. Berneers - Lee was one of the creators.
Now a day more than 40 years have passed here we are today with the great advances and with the great advances that have been made. Today's world goes around the Internet. It is true that it is a great help for daily life, jobs, communications, but you have to be very careful, because it is also used to harm people.
We have to make good use of the Internet.

I have learned that we should look at small details, like the light, the shadows and if the situation is possible in real life. If something looks impossible or too perfect, it might be fake.
ResponderEliminarDo you think photo 4 is real or fake?
ResponderEliminarI think photo 4 is fake.
The person can’t be floating in the air like that.
The butterflies might have been added with a computer
The photo must be edited because this situation is not realistic.
Have you ever thought a photo was real and then found out it wasn’t?
Yes, I have. I once saw a photo online and thought it was real, but later I found out it was edited.
I felt surprised and a little disappointed. Now I am more careful when I see photos online.
How much attention do you pay to adverts? Why?
ResponderEliminarI don’t pay much attention to adverts because they are often repetitive and try to make people buy things.
Do you ever look carefully at the images in adverts? Why / Why not?
Yes, sometimes I look carefully at the images because they can be interesting and help me understand the message of the advert.
Look at the advert. What message do you think the company is giving? Who is it for?
I think the advert is showing freedom and imagination. The company wants to say that their product makes people feel happy or special.
The advert is probably for young people or people who like creativity and emotions.
An adolescent’s room today looks very different from one in the ’90s.Modern teens often have LED lights, multiple screens, gaming consoles, and Bluetooth speakers, reflecting a digital lifestyle.Their walls might feature posters of influencers or streaming shows rather than bands or movie posters.Back in the ’90s,a teen’s room was simpler,CDs,cassette tapes, handwritten journals, and posters of pop stars or athletes.Technology shaped not just entertainment but how space was used, today it’s for streaming, gaming, and socializing online, whereas then it was for reading, collecting,or face-to-face hanging out.The contrast is striking.

Having a place established where you can work or study is such a good idea when you give it the importance it has. It is true that there are teenagers who have already set the habit of study in their daily routine, however, the majority of them don't. In fact, scientists have proved that having the same place, hour and conditions for the time of working, have benefits, and not small ones.
ResponderEliminarThey say our brain associates, for instance, the living room and the state of relaxing, the school's playground and the amusement... Indeed, footballers such us Marcus Rashford, who plays for Barcelona F.C, trains penalties whistling before shooting, simulating the situation of the match. So it is obviously a strong relation between the moment, the place, and the activity. In particular, taking care of our bedrooms as students is one of the things that we should consider in order to perform better.
In my case, I'm studiying mathematics at UGR of Granada, and the level of discipline I need to have is higher than previous years. I study in my bedroom, and I always keep the desk clean, and when I finish one hour of intense work, I prepare the things for the next one. I reckon that the "secret" is to mantain your work area so comfortable that studying isn't as heavy as usual. When I sit in my room chair, my mind turn on the study mode, and it helps me to get concentrate on the activity I'm involved in.
I recommend you all to have a place dedicated only for one activity, to try to keep a regular and consistent schedule for exams and daily routine, and to not to stop working, beacuse the success is only the consequence of the consistent hard work. Then, the environment only can sum for better.

My room is always tidy and clean. But sometimes it isn't, because I don't have time. To tidy it up, the first thing I do is make my bed, then I tidy my desk so I can do my homework, and finally, if it's dirty, I clean it by mopping. Noa 1 ESO B
