BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

Self-driving cars will also drive us round the bend

Yes, self-driving cars will also send us round the bell (check the meaning of this idiom), just like the people who come with you in the car sometimes do. Another good expression to learn is 'to drive someone crazy' (here's the song She drives me crazy by Fine Young Cannibals)

And here's English with Lucy talking about 10 grammar errors that drive British people crazy  >>>>

  1. Nowadays there are many types of robots, I use some robots like the mobile, the computer ...
I would like to have or use a robot that did my homework, I would ask the things that I would not know ... My life would be easier if I had a robot, but my life would not be like now, things would not be done by me, not I would resolve the problems alone

  2. What would you do if you had a robot?
there are many types of robots apart from the robots that we all think with humanoid form but there are many more robots like computers, cars, printers, mobile phones
but if I had a robot I would ask him the things he did not know would be like my assistant.
Will your life be easier or harder if you have a robot at home?
life I guess it would be easier but it would not be the same to do things for yourself that you make them a robot.
Do you have any kind of robot now?
Of course what time I have and I am using a type of robot without a computer or a mobile like this comment would do.

  4. In the last times the world it has evolved a lot technologically. The robots are the last advance. Nowadays the robots they are able to provide services, be used in companies and are already being tested to lead.

Firstly, in the last decade, the computers, cars or mobile phone have grown a lot. This has taken that everybody have a computer or a mobile phone. For this reason the prices on these products have gone up so much. This has led to the society to do the life much more easy in many subjects.

But nowadays have appeared the robots. The last great invention and the future of the companies. Some works have already worked with robots, wich can work during more hours than the humans. Also, that robots, are drivers, which can lead to the creation of new jobs in some new business.
Both of them can replace even humans in the future because of their intelligence.

Finally, I consider that this techhnologically advance is more interesting because in a few years many advances that the robot could help to the society. Even so, we should beware because this technology can bring many people to unemployment and for this reason we should control this advances.

  7. Nowadays it is a well-known fact that machines are quickly learning to think on their own, but may this robot revolution be a real danger to our society? Government officials say that autonomous vehicles will make transportation safer, more accessible, more efficient and cleaner. Indeed, self-driving vehicles are just the tip of the autonomous revolution. Furthermore, in 2016 autonomous robot doctors performed a surgery. Despite this, many people are against self-driving cars for some reasons.

On the one hand, many decisions made by autonomous machines have moral implications. Little is determined about what ethics machines follow or who decides what those ethical assumptions should be, though. A man died when an autopilot system didn’t recognize a tractor-trailer turning in front of his Tesla Model S and his car plowed into it. For this reason, how autonomous cars make decisions in life-and-death situations is becoming an important question. Actually, it is very difficult to decide which lives the vehicle should sacrifice.

On the other hand, some people think that robots are about to invade our lives. But if robots are the future, where do humans fit in? Well, we don’t have to automate everything just because we can. If not, it will be worse for all of us. People should stay realistic and know that a robot is never the same as a human. We need to think about our view of jobs and quickly, if we are to avoid becoming obsolete. Some experts predict the obsolescence of human labour in the future.

Finally, in my opinion whether or not autonomous machines’ impact will be positive or negative depends both on who regulates the technology and what it is used for. If we don’t use machines in an appropriate way, they will be terminators instead of heroes. As well, I consider that they should have more feelings. Above all, robots should be designed in ways that assure human safety and security. What’s more, it should always be possible to find out who is legally responsible for the robot in case of an accident.

  8. In my house there are several robots to help with daily tasks.
One of them helps us to sweep and collect the lint from the floor.
    Another to cook called thermomix.
They help us a lot, my mother the most, because her work leaves her little free time.
I have one in class, it's a robot car made with Arduino in robotics class with my teacher Gustavo.
In my opinion robots are very useful as long as they help us with our tasks, they are very useful.

It is a capable vehicle to imitate the human capacities of management and control. The driver may choose the destination, but is not required to activate any mechanical operation of the vehicle. Peak vehicles perceive the environment through complex techniques such as laser, radar… Advanced control systems interpret information to identify the appropriate route, as well as obstacles and relevant signaling.

  12. I think humans have done a great job making so clever robots. In the future they will do most of the house work and make a lot of products like food ore toys. Maybe robots can also be a great toy for young children. Humans can also create robots to help old people ore even robots to make our homework! I want one of those.

Robots today are not too clever, but they can do amazing zings like driving cars theirselves ore even paint a great and beautiful picture. I would like a robot that teaches me tennis, so I can play with it. It would be very fun. Ore maybe a robot that makes you money! I would be rich.

In the future I will build a robot like that and I would be very famous. I am going to be on TV and in a lot of newspapers. That´s my great dream.

  13. Humans in this decade has greatly improved technology.
The technical advances like mobiles of last generation, videojuegos and mainly robots.
The robots have marked a before and after in technical advances for example: the robots that direct cars, those that make people eat or even those that can dance, sing and do thousands of productive things.
In the future I want to be a robot programmer to use them in everyday life, taking out the dog, the trash and even taking me on a trip.

  15. I think that having a robot would be incredible. You can tell the robot to do many things for you, like going to buy many things, do the household chores, make diner or many other things. My life wouldl be easier, but it wouldl be less healthy, because i wouldn´t need to get up from the sofa for anything, because the robot can do that for me. in my house I have a cooking robot that helps you cooking, and it is a sign that robots aren´t as far as we think.

  16. I think the persons they have done well to build robots. The robots that he persons are create are very incredible and fantastic. You can tell the robots to do many things of you, and you can play with them. Have got robots to play, robots of cook, robots to do the household chores. I think the robots are good but i think also that the persons do some sport and different things that the robots can do for us. Because if we leave do different things, we we are left in poor health since we do nothing and with obesity. Finally i think the robots are great, but that does not mean we stop doing those things.

  18. Our way of living has evolved and with it the machines and robots. Using robots or machines to do something is easier than thinking and that's the reason why we use it a lot in our day-to-day life. For example we normally use the mobile phone. The new robot is about driving. Government officials say autonomous vehicles will make transportation safer, more accessible, more efficient and cleaner But do you think the machines and robots can be a problem for us?

On the one hand, machines and robots have lots of benefits because there are too many types of robots. For example there are machines that clean your house and also Your lunch or dinner could also be made by a food robot. If you don't have time to make your food it is easier and faster. The machines make your life easier and quieter because they reduce the amount of work you have to do.

On the other hand, they could become bad because machines and robots can replace the people in other types of jobs. For example in the banks there are many cash machines, at the baker's some of the products are made by machines or robots and they don't need anybody to make the products. You only need to press a button to turn on or to turn off to make machines work. Probably in the future teachers and many workers could be replaced by robots.

From my point of view, machines are good in some cases, they can do your life easier and quikly. However, if we keep on inventing machines to do our jobs, they can replace people in all the jobs. For that I think that machines should be done to make our life easier and we have to give an appropiate use to machines and robots.

  19. Nowadays our form of life have been changed due to the machines due to the machines are learning fast to think on their own. This can be a big problem caused by us because it is easier to use the robots than to do us activities that they can do.
Nowadays, robots can not do all the activities that humans can do, but in the future they can do everything and even do it better than us, so they will replace us.

On the one hand, machines and robots have many benefits because they help us carry out activities that we usually do and so have more time to do other things that they can not do. So, they will make our life easier because they will reduce the work that we have to do. Like the robots that can clean our house alone or make us food. Besides, can help the elderly a lot to get up after a fall. They can also remind them when to take medications or even help wash their hair.
And in the future the autonomous vehicles will be transportation safer, more accessible, more efficient and cleaner.

On the other hand, they could be dangerous because they could replace humans. In addition, some experts say that robots can become more ethical than humans, so, the machines will eliminate the freedom of humans to make their own moral decisions.
Although, the main concern is that people have the same behavior to the machines, instead of doing it the other way around.

I think that robots have more bad things than good because in the future they will replace us. Besides, I'm still not sure what I want to study, among other things because I do not know what the future works will be.

  22. Our lives are full of technologies. There are machines and robots everywhere. Probably, we do not realize, but in our homes we use a lot of machines like washing machines, fridges or the mobile phones which are an important part of our daily routines. But do you think they can be a problem for us?

On the one hand, machines and robots are revolutionizing the world and are here to make our lives easier and less complicated. They can really do amazing things. There are different types of robots that have different functions. For example, robots that clean the house or do the housework or even robots that prepare the food. Robots can also take care of the elderly and interact with them and even remind them the medicines they have to take.

On the other hand, machines and robots could replace humans. There are more and more jobs that do not need humans. For example, in factories there are many things that robots can now do instead of a person. Just press a button or turn on/off for machines to work. Robots can also reduce your social life. Although they interact with us, it is not the same talk with a person face to face.

In my opinion, robots are very useful because they can make our lives easier and comfortable, but I don´t agree with that they replace humans in the jobs.
