Last February 14th was Saint Valentine´s day. I have always thought that it´s only a commercial day, because everybody spends a lot of money on buying things like flowers, chocolate, jewellery things or some present for their couples. And also, most of the couples post photos on the social media showing how in love they are. Almost all these photos are fake, and they only post them because they want to show everybody their relationship.

But in other countries like South Korea, this is very different. There on Valentine's Day only women receive presents. ResponderEliminarLove is said to be the the one thing that keeps us alive. I believe that it is an undeniable fact, it is what really motivates us and keeps us going at the end of the day. However, many people misunderstand the concept of love and think that it only refers to a relationship kind of love ,when in reality love is deeper than that; you can love your family, friends and what's more, yourself.
EliminarOn the one hand, loving oneself is the true key of happiness. You ought to be comfortable in your own skin as you are the only person who will be a constant in your life, neither your family nor your partner, just you. Hence, having self-esteem is of paramount importance. It looks simple on paper but it may be difficult to apply it every day, due to that it takes a lot of work and courage to be proud of your own actions.
On the other hand, having a special someone can also bring light into your life. Your partner is the one you choose to make your days better and to share memories ,good times and harder ones, the person you can rely on ,and who will guarantee you at least a laugh. Anyway, "all that glitters is not gold", you have to decide carefully who you will dedicate time to, because you can be in a toxic relationship where the other person limits your freedom instead of enhancing your lifestyle.
To sum up, to love and to be loved is essential. Saint Valentine's day is just a day to enjoy with your beloved ones. No gift can be used to demonstrate the feeling of love, actions are far more important than material objects.

Valentine's Day is celebrated on February 14, It is a day in which people who love each other celebrate their love, with a dinner, gifts or with trips. Now in times of coronavirus it cannot be celebrate as in other years.
ResponderEliminarFor me, Valentine's Day is a very beautiful, but department stores also earn a lot of money from people's gifts. In my opinion there is not only one day where love can be expressed, for me love should be expressed every day by telling people that we want what we feel for them.
Not only is there love between a man and woman, but there is also love from a mother, from a father to tour family to friends who are always there in a bad times, this is true love that lasts forever couples argue and them hatred is created and there is no more love but the love of a mother for a daughter is the best thing in te word.

ResponderEliminarEvery year the St Valentine's Day is celebrated. It's called St Valentine's Day and it's February 14th. It is a different day in which everyone expresses their love for the important people in their life. It is supposed to be towards the person with whom you maintain a loving relationship but I believe that it should not be that way people should express it both to their partner and to their parents, brothers or close people, many people think the same as me.
ResponderEliminarSt Valentine's Day comes from opposition from a priest named Valentine. It all comes from an emperor who forbade marriage between young people, since he thought that young, single and people without family were better soldiers than married people. The priest Valentine objected to this so he decided to continue marrying young couples in secret, but they caught him and sentenced him to death on February 14th. For this reason this day is celebrated every year.
On St Valentine's Day I give small presents to my family and closest friends, such as roses or a teddy bear. I think it is a very significant detail to remember them on that day. For me it is a very beautiful day in which we can express our feelings towards the people we love.
At school last year, the boys and girls of my class made a table decorated with hearts so that other students could order some stuffed animals, orses, carnations and other things; And we also created a very nice mailbox so that people could write letters and put them in that mailbox putting the person they want us to deliver it to and the class, these letters could be anonymous. On St Valentine's Day we went class by class handing out the letters and things to the people who had told us. For me it was a very nice and pleasant experience.

Love and friendship has to be celebrated every day and not once every year. In my opinion, the fact that a day is celebrated Valentine’s Day I think reflects a material love, that the only thing that matters to demonstrate love is to give things away.
Finally, I think you have to demonstrate love in another way without giving anything away, because there are people who believe that giving things away makes them more loving to their partners.
I think that today is much more difficult to found the happiness, than it was few years ago, I think that if we ask from person to person if they are truly happy, or they don't told you the truth or they said you «NO», there is the possibility too that they said yes, but they could said yes because they don't know what be happy really means, and it is sad to think this but is the truth. I think that as the love of your family towards you is very important, but the love that each one has for himself from my point of view is greater, because after all the decisions that you have to make the day In the morning when starting a family and others it will be yours, although yes, I know that it belongs to your family a bit too but a large part of that decision is yours and if you are not brave when choosing and deciding that decision, I think that person is not prepared for that and not a brave person. Many people always put their family first, I respect their decision, but there is nothing like the self-love and courage that each one has of their own.

Also on Valentine´s Day, people go out to find their love. People say that Cupid is the god of love, and he is the one who shoots arrows with his bow to make someone fall in love with someone . When you fall in love with someone, you say "you have been arrowed by Cupid". He is represented with a band in his eyes, thit means that the true love arises from the soul ,and not the physical.While love lasts, neither of them see in each other any fault.
