ChangeRoots on Coronavirus:
Do you know what a 'bill' is, in political terms? Check here. Read all the entries and tell me which one applies to this situation.
quarantine is a very bad thing because we can't go out or see our classmates. I want to leave now because the quarantine is affecting my head, and I am also sad because I cannot go to school because of the coronavirus.
ResponderEliminarOliver Lozano 1ºA
The measures to avoid catching the coronavirus are: do not go out on the street and wash your hands every day. 50% of the world population will be infected by the virus.

ResponderEliminarIn this quarantine it has been very heavy because they are sending many duties. When I usually finish the exercises or study I always spend time with my family playing cards, soccer and many more games. I also had a surprise that my father brought me two games, one to guess the objective in English and thus learn new vocabulary and the other about the first in the class who was the one who guessed the most things. ResponderEliminarWe can't go to the street if we all want to be happy, play, go for a walk at the street. The coronavirus is very dangerous for the health, we need to stop it, because his fault, there are people who are dying. At eight o'clock the people applaud to the doctors in danger. Please, stay at home.
ResponderEliminarRocio Avellanedas Nocete 1°ESO A
Because of the Coronavirus we have to be quarantined at home, and I do not like it because I can not see my relatives and not be able to go for a walk, and that saddens me a little, but it will happen if we all do our part and collaborate
ResponderEliminarDunia Arnedo Martin 1ºA
Due to the coronavirus we have to stay home and I like that since I can do what I like the most, which is to play.

This moment that we are living is a very hard one. We need to help other people and we must be aware of how the situation is and we must help the people that are on the front line of the battle being a good person and generous with them and helping with everything they need.
ResponderEliminarFor example, a way I have found of helping my neighbours and the people who live and work in my village in places such as grocery shops or at the baker's is creating plastic face protectors with my 3d printers
Me and my friends have made about 150 face protectors for people who need it for their work.
I think that this situation can repeat in a not so far future. For this, we must be aware of how the world will be and that we should take different measures such as having fewer children and be better citizens.

In hard moments it´s where you really see what a person is like, and now, with such a hard time we are living, we are noticing that people aren´t as bad as we thought before. Most of us are trying to help fighting this virus, each of us in the way we can, some are working hard at supermarkets or hospitals, others are making sure that people follow the quarantine, others are making material to help the ones who are fighting the virus, and of course all of us are staying at home.
ResponderEliminarPersonally, I´m trying to help printing 3D visors for those people who have to deal with a lot of different people in their daily routines, and may of course in contact with the virus. I´ve already done about 30 or 35 visors, giving them to some neighbours of the town or helping the school with its production.
We all are trying to help others and we see how kind people are. We hadn't seen this before. Everyone is doing something to fight this hell.
Finally, I think that with the help of all and a lot of patience, we will defeat the virus, and in some weeks' time, we´ll be able to come back to our routines and normal life. Step by step we´ll do it.
David Bacas 4ºA
the coronavirus it has prevented us from doing what we like the most which is being with our friends having a good time
ResponderEliminarGoing to school ... is a very dangerous virus, so we must stay home so that it ends and we can go outside, see our friends, family ...

Molvizar vs Oxford
ResponderEliminarI live in Molvizar. It is in the countryside. There is a museum you can visit twice a week. It is a quiet place and you can enjoy nature. It is more peaceful than Oxford.
In Oxford there are so e interesting museums and places to visit. For example there is famous pub were Tolkien spend some time witing. The river in Oxford is longer than the river in Molvizar and there is a kayak competition aganist Cambridge.
Oxford is a wonderful city in England. Molvizar is not as historical as Oxford.

I live in Salobreña, a little village in Granada, but I’m from Lanjarón. Salobreña is bigger than Lanjarón, and there are more for do that in Lanjarón. However, Salobreña is not as interesting as Wales, because there aren’t places enough for tourist.
ResponderEliminarIn Salobreña there is things for see but in Wales there are more. I want to go to the Caernarfon Castle. I think that is an amazing castle. Also, The Snowdonia National Park is in my opinion the most beautiful park. However, there are a lot of beautiful places, for example: Snowdonia, Conwy, Anglesey, Cardiff…
People say that Wales is less touristy than London, but I think that Wales has a lot of places to visit. I want to visit Wales but it’s too far.

I live in Salobreña, Spain. It's more relaxing than London, but Salobreña is less big than London. Salobreña is a history village.
ResponderEliminarIn Salobreña there a few places to visit: the Arab Castle, the beach, the old part of Salobreña. In London there are too places to visit ( London Eye, Big Ben) and a lot of things to see.
For me Salobreña is the most beautiful place in the world and Salobreña and is enough funny. London is not as comfortable as Salobreña.
Ruben Sabio Prados 2º ESO A
I live in Salobreña. It's more peaceful than London, but it's less exciting than here. Salobreña is not interesting for the boring tourist.
ResponderEliminarIn Salobreña there are a few places to visit, the Arab Castle, for example. In London there are too many places to visit(London's Eye, the palace, Big Ben). In the village there is a beautiful beach and the Peñon , in London there is a river, the River Thames, but they can't see the sea.
For me Salobreña is the most beautiful village in the Spain and it can also be in the world. London is not as comfortable as than Salobreña for me, and the Salobreña food is better and more inexpensive than London.
Jose Antonio Sabio Prados 2ºESO A
The climate in the United Kingdom is one of the worst in Europe. Is a wet country. In the United Kingdom are more rocks in the beach than my hometown. My hometown is more peaceful than London, but in London there are more place to visit than in my hometown.

Salobreña is the most beatiful village in the world, London isn´t as comfortable as Salobreña. Salobreña isn´t interesting enough for tourist.
Alejandro Venegas Mancilla 2ºA
I live in Salobreña, a little town of the south of Granada, Spain. Salobreña is more peaceful than London but in my opinion, London is better than Salobreña. Salobreña is my hometown but I want to live in London because I think, London is exiciting.

ResponderEliminarLondon is a famous holiday town in United Kindom. London is the biggest city in the United Kingdom. The city is in the south east of England. Its climate isn’t as in Molvízar isn't as touristic as London. Winters are cool and summers are geneally warm or hot.
ResponderEliminarLondon is a wondeful place to visit, you can see, the tower of London, the London Eye, Picadilly circus, tower Bridge, trafalgar square, numerous museums...
My town is smaller than London but it’s more peaceful. Molvizar isn’t as tourist as London, but it’s beautiful too, it’s situated between mountains and sea. Molvizar is less big than London. London has many museums. In Molvizar there aren’t enough museums. There is too much traffic in London.
I would like to go London because it’s an interesting city, very diferent from my city. London has many things to visit, palaces, museums, theatres, restaurant...

Vacations are the best in the world, because you do a lot of things that you don't do when there's school.
ResponderEliminarThe country that I want to go on vacation with my girlfriend is Paris, because it has very beautiful places like: the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre museum and the Eiffel Tower, but the place that I want to go alone on vacation is England, because I can see all the football fields of the most famous football teams, etc.
