BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

  1. I would not know what my reaction would be if the news communicated to us saying: We have very good news, thanks to vaccines and other aid, the Covid-19 virus is disappearing.
The day that moment arrives, I would cry with happiness because we could go back to the old life we had: without worrying about a pandemic, wearing masks, being able to reunite with your whole family, what a family that does not live in the same town or city come down to see you, or the special thing about it, that some grandsons and granddaughters can go visit their grandfather in residences and spend the whole day with him.
My only wish, and I hope it is fulfilled, is that I need the pandemic to disappear, because although it does not seem like it, we have been with the "bug" for a year now. Just a year ago, this week was the only normal of 2020, until they communicated EVERYTHING about Covid and they locked us up and we never thought that it was going to happen a week later. I hope the pandemic ends because I and we all want the life of before to be lived.

  2. In my opinion I think vaccines are going to save the world. Thanks to them we will be able to return to normal life little by little. I think that we will still have to wait a year, and that more or less we will come out of the pandemic. From now on, older people and some middle-aged people will no longer be able to get it, although it is true that in some vaccines you have to start a few months to get the second dose, but we will feel the difference.

  3. We have suffered a lot in this pandemic with the coronavirus, I think vaccines have helped us a lot. They have helped us de-escalate the numbers of infections and deaths, but it seems that they are rising again due to the suspension of the AstraZeneca vaccine, although there are many vaccines such as Pfizer or Moderna. The other days a woman died after getting the AstraZeneca vaccine, the reason is being investigated, cases of thrombi have also been detected in parts of Spain, which is why the vaccine was suspended.

  5. Nowadays, we are still in the middle of a pandemic, and it is something that can result stressful and a bit boring, but it is important to keep holding on to end with this problem. It started more than one year ago, but the end is each time more far than us. We only have to keep doing our daily routine as safe as we can.

Many preventive measures have been taken since the pandemic started, which purpose are flattening the curve ,but many times they haven’t been enough. Not everybody has complied with the regulations, for instance, the ones who don’t use masks correctly or those who have been to social events without safety distance. Generally, all the actions which aren’t prudenly.

Hospitals have collapsed, and many people can’t have been cared for. With different outbreaks and new variants, the main solution, apart from complaining with the restrictions, are vaccines. They are artificial preparations which are a part of the virus for which we want to develop the right antibodies to be able to attack them. They stimulate our immune system to produce them and be on alert in case we get in touch.

If most of the people are vaccinated and the mass immunisation programme is got, coronavirus is going to disappear and we will have the “new normal”. In my opinion, we are so close to getting our new normal life. We only have to hold on a little more, and the result will be much better, because people will stop dying because of coronavirus.

  6. Today we are still going through a bad time but we are better than just a year ago that this virus began, because measures have been taken to make everything more controlled although sometimes this did not work at all, but it did that it was a little controlled, these measures began to be put in place as soon as the quarantine ended. Today everything is much better thanks to people, since they are doing everything that is asked of them, and I hope that soon we will return to normality.
Many specialists have said that this virus is not going to go away but that it will stay with us but it will be less strong since over time most people will pass it with a cold. The vaccine is beginning to be given, almost all older people already have it since they are the ones with the highest risk, although I think they could go faster and do things well and not do them each looking for their own, I think We should all be together in this and help each other and do things right and be able to get out of this nightmare as soon as possible.

  7. Nowadays we are passing bad moments because we don´t have all the freedom to do whatever we want but is normal and understandable because we stay in a mundial pandemic and we should follow the restrictions and rules for finish this before.

People is tired and a bit boring of this because the preventive measures changes a lot, it started one year ago but sometimes we feel worse than at first, for this we must continue to respect the measures as each time we are closer to the end. Not everyone complies with the measures so they harm those who do so we have to be responsible to flattening the curve.

We should be more aware of the situation as the hospitals are collapsed so many people can´t be treated. Experts said that the solution for the situation are vaccines apart from the measures, it isn´t known if it will end the disease but this stimulate our inmune system for be alert and fight it with less risk because they have generated the necessary antibodies for this.

From my point of view we would have a normal life again if most of people are vaccinated, but for this we should wait the programme of immusination masive are complete. In my opinion the vaccines will be the answer of the problem but I couldn´t imagine return to our old life.

  10. Nowadays we are going through some very tough moments in our lives, because we suffered the pandemic and now it is disappearing bit by bit, I think thanks to vaccines, and now we are freer than during the pandemic, because we can do a lot of more things than before. Although we are not sure if this virus will disappear only with all the vaccines.

There are lots of experts, virologists, doctors... that say that this virus won't disappear with the vaccines, some of them say that it will stay and it will transform into a common illness like a flu or a cold, others say that we'll need to wait until scientists develop a better vaccine, and with it we will have our normal lives again.

But although all the problems that we have we are still standing, and we support all this problems searching for our normal lives again, because we miss a lot of beautiful things, as visiting our relatives, going for a walk in another village different from our village, going to a restaurant with our friends, and many other things.

In my opinion, we will have our normal lives again, but we need to wait some time until all the problems are solved, and we could do all the things that we miss.

  12. A year has passed since the coronavirus pandemic began and despite measures have been taken, we still continue to fight the virus. However, the end of this situation is getting closer. We just need to rely on people who are working hard to make this all end soon.

Although many measures has been taking during this pandemic, there are a lot of people who have died or have lost a close relative. This is maybe because many other people have not strictly followed the rules, making illegal parties or meeting with a large group of friends. For that reason, now more than ever we must be responsible if we want this virus to go away.

On the other hand, scientists from different countries have been working all this time to get a vaccine by sharing information between them. However, if the whole population is not vaccinated very soon, the virus will continue to spread and there will be no way to control it. Moreover, the situation is getting worse with the appearance of the new variants.

All in all, respecting measures such as wearing a mask or washing hands is important to reduce the risk of infection, but from my point of view, the best way to control the virus is to vaccinate the entire population as soon as possible.

  13. We are still standing; it is true. But, how much has our daily life changed? Everybody knows that life has changed too much; our habits, our plans, our ways to socialize... are not as they were two years ago.

If someone had told us in 2018 that our lives would drastically change in just two years, we would probably have thought that he was mad. After all, we have gone through with this pandemic due to COVID-19, it is good news to hear that thanks to the vaccines and all our efforts we are beating the coronavirus. Regarding vaccines, I do not understand why people are against them. Since the first vaccine has discovered, the vaccines have saved millions of lives.

To sum up, after a year through this horrible pandemic, we have to be honest and admit that, every day mistakes are still made. Therefore, we should be more concerned than before and stay home these Easter holidays.

  14. We are still in the middle of a pandemic that started one year ago and that collapsed hospitals , caused many deaths , but right now we are getting closer and closer to the end thanks to vaccines and thanks to people who worked everyday to make this easier.

The fact that the pandemic is finishing , has made us think about the importance of life. The virus has taken away the small things , such as being together, being affectionate. These things are so important for us , but we couldn´t see our families , go out or make normal things . Actually , this has made us appreciate more every little thing we have .

It is evident that everyone wants this situation to finish, but don´t you think we are still making mistakes? . Sometimes , we are focusing on what´s allowed , rather than what´s safe . For instance , young people feel they can mix freely with their friends because they think their friends don´t have a high risk , but then they go to see their grandparents and they are not as careful as they need to be.

To sump up , I think that with a bit of luck , all this situation will finish as soon as possible but we have to be responsible and careful with what we do .

  16. Music is a form of communication that is always present in our lives from the moment we are born, with the lullabies, until we die, with the funeral marches. Music transmits various feelings, sadness, joy, peace, tranquility, fun, happiness, fear ... It all depends on what kind of music it is.
There are people who say that music helps them to improve some physical discomfort that they suffer, it manages to remove a pain.
Listening to music that you like brings you positive things:
It calms you pain, you disconnect from problems, it relaxes you, reduces stress and anxiety ...
In my opinion, I recommend listening to music in difficult moments, I do it.

  17. A year ago the coronavirus was declared pandemic. Since then our lives have changed completely. We are always waking face masks and we can't go to parties or big reunions. We have had periods of time when we have been locked at home and others when we have had nearly a normal life. Some countries, like Australia, have had not many cases and now have a normal life, without masks and with reunions and events. Others, like Brazil, are still having thousands of deaths every day.

A few months ago most countries started vaccinating people. They have started with doctors and elderly people, and the lasts will be young people who are not in risk. Nowadays there are several vaccines, each one with their advantages and disadvantages and better for some people.

But we are still making mistakes. We aren't as careful as we should and we meet friends without wearing a mask and a few days after we meet our grandparents. Because of this many elderly people die every day. We are seeing every day in the news how the police is intervening in illegal parties and we don't care because we don't think that we could have the virus.

In my opinion most people is behaving good and respecting security measures, but there are some people who don't care the virus and they go everywhere like if there wasn't any pandemic. Fortunately people are getting vaccinated and in a year or two we can return to our usual life.

  18. Today we continue to have the same situation that a few months ago although a little more relaxed or that seems to be, we continue to go through bad situations such as having to be aware of a curfew to lock ourselves in our houses, wear masks, have a safety distance or just be able to hold meetings of 6 people. Although we can also say that the use of the mask not only has cons since with it we have greatly reduced the contagion of many other diseases.

We're all a little tired of this situation, but we have no choice. We must continue to respect all security measures if we want all this to be over soon and to be able to continue with our old lives, where we could go out at all hours without a mask, without being aware of the curfew and without having to exclude anyone from our group of friends in order to leave. But in spite of everything we must feel fortunate already in other countries deaths increase by days and have much harsher restrictions.

I think we should be a little more aware of the situation in which we find ourselves and contribute each of us our grain of sand respecting any kind of standard that they put us, stop thinking about the lives we had before and face the only reality that we have in front of us so that we can all end it.

Really most young people only think about the holidays that are being lost or how everything would have been without COVID but I think they should also look at the number of people who have died because others have not respected the restrictions. Grandchildren continue to visit their grandparents without masks or any kind of safety measures after having been in contact with others without thinking about the consequences it can have.

  20. It's been a year since the coronavirus came into our lives, and we are still going through this global pandemic, although a little better than months ago.
It's such a bad and boring situation, but we have to move on and keep complying with security measures, so this can be over as soon as possible.

Little by little the population is being vaccinated and this is a big advance and the virus will be controlled better.

Every day I wonder when it will be that day that we don't have to worry about things that now are so normal in our lives that we used to see them as things we would never do, like wearing the mask, hand sanitizer every time you go into a store, meet with a small group of people…

I hope this situation improves soon and we can go back to the ‘new normality’.

  21. Today things are every time better, but for the last year, Spain and the world in general have been very affected because of Covid-19 which arrived at the end of 2019 and has caused thousands deaths. People from many parts of the planet had to remain locked down in their homes without going out, working and seeing their families. After all these months, the vaccine has finally arrived. Thanks to it, we will come back to the normality little by little, but still using the mask. Experts say that this virus won’t go so easy, but it will end up being a simple flu with the passage of time.

I hope and wish that everything will change soon and all the people will enjoy all the things that they like without this damn virus.

  23. We are survivors, since we have been more than a year going through a global pandemic, but there are many people who are even more than those that have caught the covid and they have been very bad. During this Easter the covid cases have increased because people have forgotten that we are still in this situation.

In some places wearing the mask outside is already not compulsory, and in a month ,more or less, is not going to be necessary wearing the mask indoors, like in Israel.

Here in Spain i have heard that in May the state of alarm is going to be over, and i think is not the correct decision because i think the cases are going to increase. Finally we have to still live with this virus until everybody has the vaccine and the virus will be over.

  24. In my opinion, last year was very harsh for us. Covid is a virus which is dangerous since we don't know how we can be affected by it. Nowadays things are getting better. I reckon for safing us from the virus. There are many vaccines like Astraceneca, Modern, Pfizer and Johnson 8 Johnson. Many people are scared by Astraceneca because some people have died. Scientists are investigated and they have said that the percentage is very low. On the other hand we have watched a interesting video about how prevent the new pandemic by Bill Gates. 25. Little by little the world is returning to normal, thanks to the vaccines that are being distributed around the world.

Here in Spain we already have 20 million vaccinated people, which is half the population and this is improving. We continue to have high cases of contagion, but we already control it better, what worries me is the new Indian strain, because it is out of control and I am afraid that it will reach Spain.

But in the rest of the world the vaccination plan is going very well, in the case of the United States, they already have 80% of the population vaccinated and that is a good sign. In Wuhan, the city at the epicenter of the pandemic, they are living normal life and concerts have already been held with many people.

To have if with the vaccines and the responsibility of the people, we managed to stop the damn pandemic.

Little by little the situation is improving and there is no longer a curfew. Vaccines are improving everything and I think that very soon the mask will not be mandatory in open spaces. My parents and grandparents are already vaccinated, and at least I am not so afraid that something could happen to them. Many people are afraid to get vaccinated, as there have been cases in people who have become seriously ill and have even died from being vaccinated.
We just need a push for all of this to end, and we have to remain responsible and abide by the rules even if there is not as much danger as before. I hope the day will come soon when everything returns to normal.

  28. We have not finished with this pademic yet but I think that thanks to all our efforts we are overcoming it little by little. Thanks to the invention of vaccines, millions of lives have been saved, but there are still people who do not want to get vaccines because they think they are not viable.

Are we really the same people as two years ago? I do not think so. I believe that these two years with the pandemic we have matured a lot and we have appreciated things that before we did not give importance. Before we did not give so much importance to leaving home or spending time with our family and our friends because when ever we wanted to see them we could visit them. With this pandemic it has been very difficult to relate to our loved ones.

All in all, I think that this pandemic helped us see the importance of some things and taught us to mature and collaborate to help each other.

we can have a vaccine that, although it does not prevent us from being infected with this virus, what it does is reduce the effects of it, due to this pandemic many of us have changed now we give much more importance to houses such as going out to see family.

friends now we value those little things more I think that we mature in this aspect I hope that soon we can do the same as we did before but with the assurance that nothing will happen to us. us and our family.
