BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

Nothing is impossible

Well, hardly anything is impossible if we make a real effort to solve it. We have often talked about droughts and problems with water in our planet. Have a look at the next documentary and you'll see what amazing measures, investments, discoveries... they have made in Saudi Arabia to turn a desert into an oasis!!!!

  3. It seems to me a very good change, it will favor droughts since today it is one of the most worrying things on the planet.
This morning my mom heard an article on the radio that talked about droughts, which is one of the worst things that is happening to us.
One of the solutions is to turn off the water at a certain time of the day, but something that would be unthinkable because we could not live without water since it is the most necessary substance for human beings. Talking with my mother about the subject, we talked about one of the best solutions for me, to make a process to change salt water through a chemical procedure to be able to transform it into fresh water and that it can be used for daily use and for hydration.
Another solution that I proposed to my mother would be to raise water prices and lower electricity prices, so I'm sure people would waste less water.

  6. The water is very important for us and we don't take too much care of it, lot of people waste water unnecessarily, with out thinking the consequences.

I remember that when I was little I waste lot of water with out care, I kept the faucet running while I was washing the dishes and when I was washing my hands too and I felt the bathtub with water instead of taking a quick shower.

Now I know that I'm still wasting water, but much less than when I was little, now I'm more aware and if I waste some water it's always without realizing it, I worry about turning off the taps, I don't fill the bathtub and I use the water that comes out of the air conditioning to water the plants.

I think everyone should be aware of how important water is and everyone should be a little more careful and responsible when we waste water.

    1. Water is very important for our lives, when I was very younger I wasted too much water and my mum told me off.I wondered why she told me off if water is endless and later I knew the answer. Now I always try to close the taps and I also go with my brother to fill the bottles of water to a potable water source which is near our house.
I think that what they did in Arabia turning a desert in an oasis is a great idea.

I think nothing is impossible in this life if we put effort on doing things to improve all the bad things on this planet.

  9. I think it is a great change that will help avoid droughts, since today it is something very worrying on the planet.

One of my grandfather's solutions was to change the prices of water and electricity, he said that this way people would waste less water, although I don't think it's one of the best solutions as things stand.

  10. “Nothing is impossible” is a typical sentence that people say to motivate others. Sometimes it can be true, but other times it can frustrate us.

Firstly, the most important things for success are work and perseverance. This is something that we know, because when we work the best that we can, we are able to get our objectives. I feel very satisfied when my efforts have results.

This can be useful for many contexts in our life. However, there are situations that we can’t control. Although we work very hard, the results can change for other factors. The people need to know their limits because it could be bad for our health.

In conclusion, I think that there are impossible things in life. But with effort and work, we can learn and be better to achieve the things that we want.

  11. From my point of view, this change of the nature is so incredible because we can change nature and we can help the planet and we will live better.
We could see how they produce a lot of products which they later sell in the trade and one of the most incredible things that they invented it is the change of the sea water to water for irrigation.
In that video I can see how good Nadal was when he was a child, he already showed that he was going to be a very good tennis player and his values as an athlete.
For myself it seems incredible how hew was at this age because he looked like an adult.
I think they were able to overcome these problems or their situations and then they were legends in their sports and they showed that nothing is impossible and they could get over and demonstrate how good they were.

  12. I had seen the slogan "Nothing is impossible" many times but didn´t know that it was related to Muhammad Ali. This slogan from a major sportswear brand was taken from a speech by this amazing boxer.
This boxer had a difficult childhood because of racism, but one day, thanks to a policeman who advised him to practice boxing, he became the best.
Boxing isn´t a sport that I follow but I have been doing my research and most people who like boxing agree that he is the best boxer in history. Unfortunately he died in 2016 due to Parkinson´s.
Although there have been good boxers like George Foreman or Mike Tyson, I think it will be difficult for there to be a boxer with his charisma and his way of boxing.

  13. We can say that impossible is the opposite of possible, adding it the prefix im-. So, morphologically, something that we consider impossible can never be possible, although this, we often listen that there is nothing impossible. That we can do everything we want if we make a real effort to do it, so we must think that we would do all we want. But, is really true that there is nothing impossible?.

Well, nowadays, we live in a society that is really pessimistic, that is our society is really negative and it affects our behaviour and our day-to-day mood. However, there are lot of people that are saying everyday that there is nothing impossible, and we only need to make a effort to achieve something we want. These people can give us some expectation, and can make us change our negative mood to a happy or positive mood, being a little more optimistic.

If we stop to think, we can see clearly that there are lot of famous or important people that come from a family like ours, and they arrive where they are thanks to all their efforts, because they didn't give up when they saw that it was very difficult and practically impossible. So, if they can arrive there with their efforts and spending lot of time in the way, we can also do it. We can achieve something we want if we really want to do it, but firstly we need to do our bit.

To draw the conclusion, one can say that I think that there are some things that are impossible to us, whatever all the effort that we make. But, it should be made clear that if we do something thinking that we can't achieve, so it make that we do it unenthusiastically, we will certainly not achieve it. So, we always need to think that we will achieve what we want.

  14. Water is very important for us because If we don't have water, we will die.
One of the most important things about water is that we need for it to hydrate,
A person is able to without meet for 40 to 50 days,
but water is necessary because otherwise you would die to the 5 days.

I believe that when we were little, our parents always said to turn off the taps when we brushed our teeth…
Now, I think that I save much more water than before because I know how important water is.

Many people, who live in other countries, have to travel a lot of kilometers to find water,
They are people who haven’t resources and have to try to survive.
Because of climate change we are suffering many droughts.

  16. Nowadays we have a lot of problems with the environment. In my opinion the amount of water we waste is one of them.

Water is essential for our lives, and even knowing this and how privileged we are to be able to simply turn on the tap and pour ourselves a glass of water, when in many areas of the world this is unthinkable, we still don´t see its importance.

When I was younger I didn't think about the water I wasted, I just thought it was infinite and would never run out and nothing happened. Until I realized that I couldn't misuse it.

In conclusion, we must be aware of how lucky we are and not misuse water and take advantage of it.

  17. Nowadays, in a pessimistic society, we tell ourselves to encourage ourselves that nothing is impossible. But really, this is cheating ourselves. There are impossible things, and we must be aware of this so that in the future we are not disappointed.

On the one hand, some things are physically impossible, things like flying, but we humans look for alternatives, we build airplanes, helicopters, and even parachutes to feel more real. We always go further, we try to make impossible actions possible.

On the other hand, some things are mentally impossible. These are more difficult because the obstacles are put by ourselves. Although it takes time, some people achieve to reach their goals.

To conclude, I would like to say that although there are impossible things that can be done, others are always impossible. But we must always look for ways to overcome obstacles.

  18. When we are in bad situations that we believe we can’t do, someone tries to help by telling us the typical phrase "nothing is impossible" and helps us to realize our tasks, and we believe that it is true, until the next difficulty comes and we feel overpassed again. So, is it true?

It can be as true as we want. We, humans, always try to make our dreams possible. Elon Musk, surely, when he was a child dreamed about going to the space, and some time ago, he achieved it. He sure gave up a lot of times, but he never stopped dreaming. In the future, I want to be computer programmer, although I'm having difficulties getting bachillerato, I always say myself that if I make an effort it's not impossible.

But we must know that there are impossible things. But this shouldn’t imply that we stop trying them because who knows, we can make them possible from one moment to another.

To sum up, we must try with all our efforts those things that we see as impossible to make possible. Many times the obstacles are put by ourselves. Never give up! Nothing is impossible!

  19. Drought is one of the most talked about issues in recent months, since we are in a complicated situation and one that we should all be aware of and not go beyond it. Water is the most important factor for the world, therefore drought should not be underestimated as we could reach a very difficult situation to deal with.

This winter has been one of the least rainy winters in history, it has not rained at all, until about a week ago. This is a very serious issue, since if this is happening in winter, when water accumulates for the whole summer, then what is going to happen in summer?

This year we should reduce water consumption, not the water we drink, but the water we waste, for example, in the shower, when we brush our teeth and leave the tap running, and so on, and so on. But apart from all this, the real problem is that nothing is being done about it, because if it is not raining in winter and it has hardly rained in autumn, it is because there is climate change and there is something that we are doing wrong And the media, the people in high places are not doing anything about it.

In conclusion, a climate change is taking place, for which nobody is doing anything and it is something too important to let go. This drought is going to affect us all if it doesn't change and little by little I hope that all people are realizing it and measures are taken to change it.

  20. In my opinion, I believe that we always have to make the maximum effort possible and not always do the minimum, because in this way the only thing we are doing is worsening our future and deceiving ourselves.

For example, not everyone knows what they want to study, because they see all the subjects as too difficult and they don't want to put as much effort as possible into studying, so they prefer to choose other easier subjects, although they don't like them at all.

I see that very badly because I think that if you don't like what you want to study, and you only choose it because it's much easier, it's nonsense.

In conclusion, even if we don't want to do anything or we don't want to studying so much, we always have to make the most of ourselves, because we all can.

  23. Since last century, climate change has been tranforming fertile lands into deserts. Droughts are more and more common and this change affects to agriculture. As the land turns into desert, farmers lose their job because they lose the place they have to grow vegetables.

Amazingly, Arabia is turning their deserts into fertile lands. It's a difficult task because it requires a lot of water, and Arabia has a lack of water. In a period of around 50 years, they have turned a part of its desert into fertile lands.

To make this change possible, they started taking subterranean water, but the amount of water they got wasn't enough, so they have developed different ways to get water, like transforming sea water into potable water thanks to different machines. In addition, they have been building machines that can water the plants using only the necessary amount of water.

From my point of view, using technology to turn deserts into fertile lands is a great way to solve climate change. While we've trying to reduce the pollution and avoid the icrease of desert land in our planet, we can try to turn desert into green places.
