We've just finished the second term. For me, it has been very stressful as I am already in 2 of Bachillerato and I need to get high marks to be able to study what I want. I wish I need a lower mark so I don't have to be so worried about my marks!
ResponderEliminarTo be honest, this term has been so difficult for me. In February, I got some low marks which had me very worried. After that, I got very stressed and I couldn't concentrate in the afternoons, so I finished studying for the exams the day before or two days before, being optimistic. In addition, in March I had the feeling that I couldn't improve the low marks I got in February and I spent many afternoons crying at home. At that moment I could only think that my marks were getting lower and lower and that I wouldn't be able to study what I want.
Finally my marks weren't as bad as I had thought. I am specially surprised with some subjects, because I though that the marks were too high compared to the ones I got in the exams during the term. At the moment I am trying to rest a bit before the third term begins, but I am finding it quite difficult because I can't stop thinking about the school and the exams.
Although these months have been though for me, I think that the third term will be better as my marks haven't been as low as I thought at the beginning. If I can keep getting similar marks, I think I will be able to study what I want next September in the university!
Time goes by so fast and it's scary!! It's amazing. We are finishing high school in only a couple of months, and in less than a year we will be entering university. I can´t believe it yet!!
ResponderEliminarWhen I was little, my grandfather used to tell me how fast I grew up. I never understood him, because I looked the same to me, but now that I've grown up and I see my little cousins, I completely understand him. It's totally true, how fast they grow!! I notice it, especially when a long time goes by without seeing them. When I see them again, they seem like they are so much older.
It´s only when the days, weeks, months or years pass that we realize that they have passed. It seems like it was yesterday when we started high school, and we are about to finish it! On the one hand, I'm sad to have to say goodbye to all the friends I've made. I'm going to miss the high school routine. But, on the other hand, I'm really looking forward to starting this new stage of my life.
I want to go live to Granada, to start university and to experience all the changes that this suppose. Although as with high school, I am sure that the years that I´m studying at the university will also go by very quickly. The important thing is to enjoy to the fullest because time flies!
The end of all this is getting closer and closer. We have finished the second trimester. It has been the most difficult months of my life. This year is going to be one of the most difficult of our lives. Many things happen in a short time.
ResponderEliminarMy grades for the second term have been better than those of the first, I am very happy for all the effort I have made. Many times I thought that I would give up because it was impossible for me. I have been studying a lot. I have realized that it is true that "every effort has its reward". Now comes the third trimester, it will also be difficult but there is less left.
I think the grades I am getting this year are the best, since I have always been getting 7-8 and this year I am getting higher grades. I am happy to get those grades but there is a bad part, to get those grades I have I had a really bad time, I had to ask for help because I stopped going out, I was studying all day.
In conclusion, 2nd of Bachiller is a very difficult year, we must study a lot but also go out with our friends, family... It is the last year of high school, we must enjoy it.
Time flies and it is awesome. We don’t realize it, but sometimes we remember a day or a moment and we say to ourselves that it is incredible that two, three months or even years have passed , but for us it is impossible because we believe that it has been less time.
ResponderEliminarFor me it is incredible to have finished the second term and to be starting the third term, because I don’t realize that so much time has passed since September, although it is about seven or eight months. In few time we will be finishing the entire school year.
Although it also seems incredible to me to be finishing high school, because although six years have passed since I started, for me it isn’t to long. But if I stop to think about all those days, it's been six long years.
I hope that the time in the university passes as quickly as in high school, but without missing out on any experience that gives me this experience. And after all these years studying, I want to start a good and stable life, without having to worry about qualifications.

ResponderEliminarWe spent all our life saying that´ll be the day when I went to this place, when I bought my first car... and not saying let's enjoy this moment because it will never be repeated.
ResponderEliminarWe always ask people how they think they will be in a few years, where they would like to work when they grow up, and more questions about the future, when we really don't know anything about it. Instead of asking if they like what they are doing at the moment, what their short-term plans are.
Most people don't live the moment and are always looking forward to the future, and only a few people live the moment. I admire this type of person who live the moment, because I think it's the best way to live your life because you don't know what will happen tomorrow, maybe tomorrow you will die.
As far as I am concerned, we have to live and enjoy the moment without thinking about what will happen. We have to enjoy the little things, a simple hug, a walk at the beach, a meeting with our friends, etc. In my opinion, we have to think that we are always looking forward to things and never living the moment.

One year more, we are here in the IES Mediterráneo, but this is the last year for me and my friends. I remember when we arrived and we were children. Everybody in the class was new.
ResponderEliminarI have learned a lot of things these years. Firstly, I have grown up with very good friends and we have lived many moments together. We have studied a lot and gone on amazing trips. We have also celebrated parties and a science week. Our time at IES Mediterráneo has been so special that even we lived a pandemic!
Secondly, I have to talk about the teachers. Everybody has his favourite subjects but here all the teachers love their job and do things seriously. We have to thank them for all their knowledge.
Time flies and all of us have changed. However, the people that we have met, classmates and teachers, will always be in our heart. IES Mediterráneo has been a very important part of my life.

I remember when I entered high school. I was a little girl, only 11 years old, I was scared and with thousands of questions. I had gone from knowing everyone in my old school to being the smallest in a whole high school and only knowing the people in my town.
ResponderEliminarMy friends who were already in high school told me things about it. They called me teachers' nicknames, who was better or worse, things I shouldn't do, but even so I was afraid of change. I would have to get up much earlier, go to another town, the exams were going to be more difficult, I would have more subjects... All those thoughts go away in a week, when you already know everyone and realize that it wasn't as bad as they told you.
When you start 1st of ESO you only think about getting older and finishing high school, but you don't realize until late that it is a stage in which you spend too much time in your adolescence and that you will experience many things with new people that you will later remember all your life. Not everything is studying, there are also laughs and good times. Now I am in 1BACH and I realize how quickly time has passed. I only have one year left to be here, then everyone will go their own way and the people you have lived with most of the time you may never see again.
2BACH students are preparing for college and then they will start building their future, probably saying goodbye to their high school friends. It gives me a lot that next year comes to that final day, which I'm sure we'll all celebrate dressed in graduation.

Time passes very quickly and it is fascinating, but sometimes it can be scary.
ResponderEliminarI still remember when I entered in Mediterranean High School. I was a little boy with only 12 years old and I was afraid of what awaited me here. I was very shy, i didn't know anyone, and I had new teachers. I never had a big group of friends until 4th ESO. Luckily all the teachers i have had are quite nice.
I'm a little scared because this is my last year at Mediterranean High School and next year I'm going to study in a different place. I don't know what awaits me there, I won't know anyone and I will have new teachers. I hope the people there are as nice as the people here.
I am also quite worried about the university, I don't know where I will go, probably I will have to go to a big city and start a new life on my own. All this sounds like a lie, but it is the reality.
Time flies and all of us will be very different in the future, but our classmates, teachers and moments in mediterranean high school will always be in our hearts.

A study trip is an experience you never forget. It is usually done to enjoy a group experience with friends and classmates. My cruise trip has been the second study trip I have done and it has been a gratifying experience. It has been a Mediterranean cruise, and we have visited Mallorca, Genova, Palermo, Rome and Marseille. I've had a lot of fun. I have shared good times and experiences with friends, I have not had time to get bored. It can be said that I have lived a new adventure that I will always remember. It is clear that when you share a trip with a good and numerous company, the atmosphere is better and the parties are more fun. Although it has not been a short trip, it has been short for me; I have enjoyed day and night.. It has helped me to disconnect from the routine, my only preoccupation has been to enjoy the moment. The coexistence has been very good, I have traveled by boat, which I had never done before... definitely a group study trip is an experience for a lifetime that we will be glad to have enjoyed among friends.
ResponderEliminarI think that the study trips are an experience that no student should pass up.
